I never played Prohibition, so I have little opinion either way. My main reason for not signing up for this game is the length of time Red Scare took. In general, I like mafia games that last one to two weeks. It gives me something to focus on and keep the details fresh. Red Scare was maybe six months, and this is nearing two months. I find it difficult to keep track of what's happened, and regardless of the host, I don't think I will sign up for a mystery game again. For that matter, I'm not too interested in playing Heroica either, since I found it to be too slow for my tastes. My only criticism of Red Scare, other than the length, was that the targets were vague. I was 'scum' in that game, and I didn't really know what I was doing, even at the end. I had surfed through the mystery game Hinck had hosted before, and it looked fun, but I didn't start from the first day, so I don't know if that was any clearer. I can't speak for any Fellows/staff signing up for it, but I think it's a lack of interest in mystery games more than anything directed at you. People are even suffering mafia burn-out too, in my opinion. I wouldn't worry too much about your reputation as host, just keep a positive attitude, and show them how it's done right

Actually, in shared ability games, there are often multiple investigators, since scum can target them much more easily. Why, it seems like just a week ago, I witnessed a game in the Bloodbrick System, upon which this prison was based, which had three investigators. Check it, no lie. This is how shared ability games tend to work, and we have no time for insane investigator nonsense. I may be a cannibal, but I'm also a damn fine historian too
