I can't remember half the people playing, And I've hosted and played with most of them I think. Until you get into heavy PM business with people, it's easy to not know them. He might have lied, but for me, I could see myself saying it by mistake. And for him, it would be a stupid lie to make, since it could easily be researched, as you have to find a shred of something to hang a case on. As for the no-lynch, that's ridiculous. There are three valid candidates at this point, and you're one of them. Because you were the fourth on Pierce, that's the valid bandwagon? You are having a horrible day one: -You support a lynch on someone that seems likely town, -switch to the bandwagon when your name pops up, -desperately flail to defend yourself -send PMs to someone that your not in the habit of sending PMs to (to the best of my knowledge, I don't recall you having a working relationship) -claim that votes on you are for a no-lynch, when actually, you are tied for second in the voting. Nope, a bad day one for you.
-
There's something desperate in that sort of research day one. The people who are the single vote on people need to choose a side: vote for Delwyn (3), Molly (3) or Pierce (4). Any other vote will be considered a non-vote. As it is, we'll be lucky if anyone can get nine for the lynch.
-
Then why did you unvote him? Your comment here is close to nonsensical. It's really flaily. Yo uunvoted him, but still think he could be scum, and my vote on you makes you think he may be scum. Huh? How is he supporting me? You are doubly suss at this point.
-
Your defense of Molly is noted
-
You know what? I agree with you. Anthony isn't really scummy looking, and I think Molly would know well enough that he's just being a goof. I still think Ewan is rather stinky too, but not a single person wants to weigh in on the topic either way. Let's see if we can get people on Molly for poor vote justification. Unvote: Ewan Vote: Molly (Lady K)
-
The main reason I wouldn't vote for him is that scum have a hard time jumping out front day one. As inane as his vote is, it is the kind of behaviour that draws attention an possible investigation, leading me to think he isn't scum.
-
Yeah, whoever jluck is.
-
I really want to emphasise the scumminess of Ewan. He jumped on Delwyn's boneheaded accusation of me, whereupon I jumped on him and he went silent. Things have been hectic since, so it makes sense to lie low. It's been a long time since someone gave me such strong day one bad vibes. As it is, there is no strong candidate, and that's fair at the start of the day, but we should start to come together in the next hours.
-
You can unvote. Vote now, change it later if you must. No waffling.
-
-
Just a reminder to noobs, vote early, vote often. If we put our opinions all out front, it leaves us with more 'opinions' from the scum from which to hang them with later.
-
Yawn Actually, Ping! It's true that having been godfather once, the chances a second time are reset to zero, but it's still unlikely to happen twice in a row. That's common sense, and you are following common stupidity. The first guy to be dumb is usually dumb. The guy egging them on is usually scum. You are my day one lynch candidate. Thank you! Someone gets it Someone else gets it I'm not trying to be egotistical, but I know I'm in the scum's top three "get rid of 'em" list (unless Dink is scum, I don't think he's scared of me whatsoever). There's an unavoidable thing called the meta-game, and it usually puts active players with a half-decent record in the cross hairs. Once more, to remind you all, I am the towniest of towns. Vote: Ewan Breckenridge (mostlytechnic)
-
I don't remember how many we've played, since I usually live and I suppose you haven't I am the towniest of towns. Even when I'm scum Anyway, I'm town, it's fun to start the game announcing that I'm town, thereby trolling some noob who thinks it's proof of something who makes me a mission. It's my personal version of sausages. If I'm lynched day one, may my title be changed to Jluck's bitch (and that is not an invitation to meta-gamers to vote me out to replace my current super-title as the white reggaeist!)
-
I hope you're trying to be dryly humorous, Anthony, but if not, go for it. I love it when people vote for me day one until everyone else lectures them not to and they meekly change their votes. It's funny ' cause it happens so darn much. And on top of that, I'm not merely town, but the towniest of towns.
-
Statistically speaking, it's incredibly unlikely to happen two games in a row. Remember, we need to keep the odds in mind when making decisions. Also, you have my word that I'm town this time. I don't think I said I was town last time. That's my scum tell.

Just for the record up front, I'm town this time.

I think I'm just going to roll up some of my "special grass" and chill out while I wait for this whole thing to start happening. It often gives me a better perspective than just getting into things with people. -

1.) Have you played in a Mafia game before? If not, do you get how it works? More or less. 2.) Will you be pretty free to play for however long this plays out (excluding the week of the 22nd, of course)? More or less. I have a job and a family which comes first, though. 3.) Rate, from 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest, how upset will you be with me if I don't get these pictures and days out on a totally prompt schedule (these pictures take a long time to edit)? 4. Punctuality is a massive thing in mafia. I rate punctuality way higher than graphics when playing mafia. 4.) If, in case you get angry, take it out on Danny, yea? OK. 5.) If you were in a plane crash, what magical destination (like in Lost) would you prefer it crash on? The tropics are nice. 6.) Is Scotland, or is it not, the most peaceful and beautiful place in the entire world? Lord no.

Scooby Doo Mafia: All Fired Up - Conclusion
def replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
For my part, role-playing has just never been my thing (one of a number of reasons I'm never seen in Heroica). In mafia, it's led to some bad lynches in games, because someone is being too much of a character. As days go on, it just gets even harder to get things done. As a host, I can feel your frustration of things not going as you hope. Possibly, next game, in sign-ups, you can make a "Will you promise to stay in character for the game?" question to make sure players know? -

Woo hoo! Thanks DD! I would have let medium be lynched, ultimately. I would simply have suggested someone else. For the claim, I think it was fine. You just didn't hammer the logic down more. I had an argument with the point that scum might claim to finish the day, but you had an argument that you nominated Trumpet for lynch and Trumpet voted with you, showing you were on the same side; meaning you were both unlikely to be scum. Doctor wouldn't have made a difference in 3-day game. You called it on day 4 when dual cops claimed, and I was arguing your scumminess, with you knowing you were town. Don't pat yourself on the back too much Credit to Dragonfire, they called you as cop. I really was absent/sloppy in paying attention. You were fair game to kill, but ultimately, we played conservative and killed the known tracker rather than gamble on other premises. And sorry to Bob for slagging you off in thread. It was rude, but I wanted to keep my distance from killing you off night two. ........... Fantastic deadboard. Wow, Dragonfire was much more convincing than I thought. I thought their claim was pretty weak compared to Dave's. Amazing the tint that being scum puts on your view of things. -
Scooby Doo Mafia: All Fired Up - Day 4
def replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, it looks like Lynn is willing to take a side now, very interesting. With that in mind, I agree we don't want a no-lynch. In the case that Derrick is afk, I will: Unvote: Lynn (Trumpetking) Vote: Patti (piratedave) Between the unnecessariness of Patti's claim, her unwillingness to vote for Lynn, and Lynn's backing of her, I feel confident in this. If I end up losing the game for us, I'm very sorry in advance. For the record Lynn, the reason it was between Patti and Derrick was because they both claimed the same roles, not because you were innocent.
