  1. Seems Santa's helper is making good money, since he decided to stay behind instead of going back to the north pole with Santa. I like the idea and execution and the lights going all around the roof is a nice touch.
  2. Great looking stall. I really like all the different food details you put into it so it makes sense that this stall is somewhat bigger as TLG stalls. The lights below the windows to me are a nice touch since they are not perfectly aligned. Good luck in the contest.
  3. Nice build, I like the seat that is put up a bit and the globe is a nice touch. Good luck in the contest.
  4. Great looking stall Emma. That old sailor really got the fire going and I love how the stall is angled on the baseplate. You made some nice CMF part combinations. Also the trampled snow is a great detail. Nothing stays white for long, so the earth tones showing through are a nice touch. Good luck in the contest.
  5. So many details to like here. Besides all the obvious stuff, I like the slope/level difference in the snow and the brother about to dumb a snow ball on top of his sister or is it a boy expressing his love to a girl . Good luck in the contest.
  6. Another original game, excellent. I agree that the dark brown gives it a more distinct look, good idea. The dark red posts give it some extra colour so it is not all brown and green. Good luck in the contest.
  7. Great looking mountain and nice tunnel detailing. I wonder however how evil the Yeti is, it seems to sneak up on the rope. Good luck in the contest.
  8. Great build with very nice details like a bench for getting ready/returning the wares, opening up for better playability, a hearth to get warm and wood chopping area to stay warm. It fits right in and lets minifigures join the skiers from past years sets. Good luck in the contest.
  9. Excellent entry. Looks like you stocked up quite well on cheese. I like the little mouse/rat detail in the front and the use of antenna's for cheese dip sticks. Merry Christmas and good luck in the contest.
  10. I just stumbled on this build (kinda late to the party so to speak). This is a great Christmas build, it breaths Charles Dickens and it looks great under the tree. Another great thing is you managed to build it without using duct tape and a pocket knife . Merry Christmas!
  11. So much great small references in there, the red city passenger train, the city cargo truck. Also love the addition of the castle to the mountain. Great details. The to be train driver kid posing for the photograph is a nice touch. Using the paint roller handle for the crane is really smart. Good luck in the contest.
  12. Not sure if this applies here (I hope so for the Dutch/European army builders) but when I ordered the DeLorean set on S@H the price was 50 euro's minus 1 cent. I received the set and a day later I got 10 euro's credited to my credit card. Checking S@H I saw the price was lowered 10 euro's and it still is up to this date. But I agree LEGO might want to do something about their exchange rates. Then again, we will buy their stuff anyways so I guess it will not happen.
  13. This is AWESOME! I followed Lars his version and you both did a splendid job lighting the place up. I love the gluhwein stall and all the minifigures in different sober-drunk state. It has a real cozy market vibe. The 8-bit Technno-ish let it snow soundtrack is the finishing touch .
  14. Excellent entry moctown. I really like how you used earth tones and some gold, so it does not get very bling bling. Good luck in the contest.
  15. I spotted this in the LEGO flickr group first, so I had to rush over to let you know I love it. It is another cheerful addition to the contest. Don't let them swing too high or your entry might get disqualified . Good luck in the contest. P.S. regarding the 100 currency bills discussion that keeps popping up: Seeing that LEGO is Danish, maybe they are Danish Kroner (DKK)? In which case 100 DKK is about 13 euro's or 18 US dollars. It still seems kind of steep but not as bad as 100 US dollars .
  16. Great looking stall crayonboi. I love the different colored overhangs (sunscreens?) it really brightens up the place (combined with the blue roof) and very clever how it opens up for playability. I bet the official set vendors are not happy with the competition . Good luck in the contest.
  17. This has a great southern Germany/Alps feel to it. I love the pyramid micro build the dad is carrying, great detail. Also love the leakage part; better get some sand or salt mixed with that puddle once it starts freezing ;) Good luck in the contest.
  18. Great addition to the contest. I love how you added some dynamic in the crowd by not just showing people drinking and serving but also passing by. Good luck in the contest.
  19. Great entry, I can see visitors of the market resting here for a bit/drink some hot coco while enjoying the singing. The light brick is a nice touch. Good luck in the contest.
  20. The title says it all, spot on Bricknave. Great entry. Good luck in the contest.
  21. Great entry Phil, I love how you can see the mini figures have fun on the slide. Good luck in the contest.
  22. So many details to like, the tree, the brick build fence/railing, the street lantern, the use of the light bricks, the contest element within a contest entry. Great job. Good luck in the contest.
  23. My design is good enough for some quality build time with kids? Awesome! Thanks alot for sharing Ashell, I hope you have as much fun building it as I had.
  24. Thanks for the compliments gazumpty, much appreciated.
  25. elf opening presents. Well it can go either way can't it? Would be sneaky though behind Santa his back. Thanks for the kind words wonderpuddle.
