  1. I've made two screenshots from the movie, to have a closer look on the magnificent interior of the camper van, for your viewing pleasure
  2. The interior of the VW Campervan looks simply amazing! The Winter Post Office is a must have also... 2011 is going to be a very expensive Lego year...
  3. Last weekend I've bought to sets; Lamborhgini Gallardo and Ferrari Truck 8169 Not really sets that where high on my 'wishlist' but the store had a clearance sale, they gave a 30% discount; I just couldn't resist...
  4. on the site of the publisher: Fantasia Verlag
  5. Really? I know that the picture I took of the page isn't to clear, but if I look closely, it looks as if it is to round on the edges to be basic bricks. but, time will tell...
  6. As far as I know you can order it now and it will be shipped. I placed my order back in April, so that's why I've already received it. It really is a very nice collection again, a lot of photos that where missing from the first edition are now there. I don't think 2011 will be my cheapest Lego year . So far I've bought the Maersk ship, the Maersk Train, the Emerald Night, the Pet Shop and the Medieval Market Village. But chances are that the VW bus, the Post Office and the Technic Unimog will also be a part of my collection before the year ends... I'm also curious what kind of material is used on the VW bus with the roof, it looks like an orange piece of canvas?
  7. Pictures, though not very good:
  8. I got the second edition of the Fantasia Lego Collection book today, with a lot of interesting information! The VW bus was there (a campervan, two toned in red and white), a picture of the Winter Village Post Office and also a set number with description Pirates of the Caribbean Black Pearl. I didn't knew that a Black Pearl was also on the list
  9. My wife came home from work and brought me this airline-exlusive 7688:
  10. Right, the Pet Shop is already on display, let's hear it for the next Exclusive! I'm curious if Lego can keep this one also so very tight and secret... A VW Van would look nice next to the Beetle. :-)
  11. Only one item this time 10218 Pet Shop! Have build the red building so far, even though it looks a bit dull on the outsite, the constructionpart is good and the interior very nice!
  12. I'lll probably will get it as soon as I'm in the neighbourhoud of a Lego store. But talking about an 'exploding topic'...
  13. I was just in the Lego Store Oberhausen, they also told me that as of next week (May 10th) the 10218 will be on sale!
  14. If this set really is going to be on sale on may the 10th, then I really have to congratulate Lego with keeping this set a secret for so long. That's an absolute record I think
  15. Correct, you have to spend over €55,- In a German LegoStore (offer is valid in all the German Legostores, according to the calendar.
  16. I had to go to Oberhausen today (again) and couldn't resist it.. So I finally bought the Emerald Night. No only have to find the time to build it... Can't wait to see how it looks combined with the Maersk train!
  17. On saturday I bought the 10219 Maersk train in the Legostore Oberhausen, with a free Pick-A-brick can. I thought that it wasn't on stock, since S@H says delivery is in May, but they had four of them. At the end of the day they where all gone though. Also bought two collectible minifigures series 4, werewolf and surfgirl. Train is a really nice set, lots of new (for me) parts and fun to build!
  18. Slightly offtopic maybe, but this thread really reminds of the time when the first details where floating to the surface about the Grand Emporium. Some things are now known, sometimes remain a mystery... Everyone has its own ideas about how it looks like. Kind of nice actually Still I can't believe it will take until June before it's available... A sneak preview, so one store already has it, why should it take so long before it's released to the general public?
  19. If it will be two separate buildings with two different heights, I can't imagine the pet shop being the lowest one. After all, the set is (probably) called Pet Shop, in my opinion that means that this will be the major part of the set. Oh well. Just sit and wait...
  20. Incan't wait for images either :-) however, a three storey house 16 wide shouldn't be a problem, remember the blue 10190 house? That's 16 wide also and looks great IMHO.
  21. Not today but last saturday I've bought 10193 medieval market village. No I only have to find the time to build it....
  22. I received my Lego order today from S@H: 10155 (Maersk Container Ship), 40009 (Holiday Set), 40012 (Halloween Pumpkin), 40015 (Heart Book) and 40016 (Valentine Letter) Quit happy with it
  23. I've been wondering (pure speculation), but what if it's a building with a small passage in the middel, where on one side there would be a pet shop, and on the other one another type of shop? That would be interesting, building-wise, and could do justice to the pet shop thing, i can't imagine a pet shop being as big as a 'grand emporium base floor' to be honest... We'll just have to wait and see, as people before me already said
  24. Come to think of it, the next model could also be a Car dealership with showroom and repairshop, combined with some apartments above. I can remember that Jamie Berard said some things with Fire Brigade about experimenting new ways and thus including a car, maybe the coming set has a car also? Than a cardealer would come in handy ...just speculating...
  25. Hmm. Somehow that strikes me as the most plausible thing. Don't know why though, I don't have any inside information I guess we'll just have to wait and see...
