Going to a different one isn't necessary, just a different cashier or time will be enough.

Get it, and return it if it becomes cheaper, before promptly buying it again. Target may hate you for it, but their policy (not sure what it is, so go check just in case) may allow you to do it.

Zesk.

I'm still hesitant about this because the 85-15 ratio doesn't work in favour for a treaded, midaked and heavily pistonned behemoth like Skopio. However, I suppose it could be possible that Skopio is a pre-Shattering natural creature that was mechanically decked out for the EP war and given the XV-1 title as a war-beast to distinguish it from normal Skopios. That would be awesomely cool, although it's quite unlikely as the other vehicles are clearly vehicles not creatures.

You don't build a 12,000 km tall super robot in secret, especially during a planet wide crisis.

Mata Nui was built on Spherus Magna, and could very well have been built in the region Bara Magna. Greg is being very tricky with this, so he when he said no to Bara Magna, he could've meant no to Planet Bara Magna, but not Region Bara Magna, because the question asker was obviously referring to PBM, because nobody knew about RBM. However I agree that it's kinda lame to build an entire other GB worth of spare parts. Plus, when you're building a being as big as Mata Nui, you build it in one place, so that you don't need to transport a 5000 km long leg to somewhere else.

If TLG tried and didn't get permission for LoTR, then why would they go and do it anyway? They'd know better than to do that kind of stuff. No, Castle is just using typical fantasy elements and ideas, combined with the typical vehicles and structures of the "castle" era. If TLG made a giant war elephant, a tall Troll observation eye tower or a battle on a abyss bridge with a dragon, then there might start to be some similarities.

I agree, this one is better than The Kingdom IMO. The problem with this list is that people are now gonna use it as evidence in some parts, ignoring the fact it's a joke. If it wasn't, I could be able to prove that Mata Nui has a self-destruct switch independent of him that contains an incredibly large amount of explosives, which can be activated remotely by some sort of signal. I could also prove that the Great Beings are going to come to the EO some time before 10,000 years, because that's the time it takes for the Matoran to figure out how to leave the planet, yet it's possible for them to be blown up before they leave. Finally, I can also prove that the Ignika is actually very close to breaking, as it could've when Matoro sacrificed himself, and so Mata Nui is totally screwed on Bara Magna.

If you can give the skeleton embassy a ribcage roof then it would be awesome. -
It's a Bitil sword and a Thornax in one.
-
Skopio is a creature-inspired vehicle. That can't go and tell us that creatures on Bara Magna that weren't created by some Great Being has natural tread legs.

Ek? The black hands are good! I still couldn't believe that TLG hadn't released black hands in the first half of the year, and I was getting really worried when there weren't any black hands on the canisters or vehicles that we had seen. It's a pity that the hands are on an expensive set, but there is still BL for when I need the hands. The Spikit isn't exactly what I was hoping for. When we were told about a wagon, and that Spikits are beasts of burden, I was hoping for the Spikits stature and build to be like a two-headed llama/horse, which would look nobler pulling a wagon and this short lizard Spikit. I'm also kind of miffed that the Baranus is a tiny chariot to stand on as opposed to a 20th Century carriage-like vehicle.

You're right, Sandbenders are just specialised Earthbenders. There are only four bending types, but I know that a specialised form of fire bending uses Lightning, and a specialised form of water bending is called Blood-Bending, for anyone who is interested in MOCing one of those.

Your Gatehouse module looks great, and it's proving just how awesomely modular the castle is turning out to be with the eight-wide wall made with only a few adjustments to the original modules. It is a pity that the eight-wide walls end up inside the castle, with the thinner walls on the outside, but I suppose that's un-preventable. -

The roof looks neat, but they will all need to look the same, apart from some birds, chimneys and lost minifigs. Because the roof if part of the outside, it needs to be a lot more consistent than other modules. -
BAR-RAH-nus. Baranus comes from Barren, so the "Bara" part is said like Barren! No cheeky pronunciations for you!
-
The strange thing with Baranus is that it's V7, but it looks smaller than Cendox V1, once you take of the Spikit, which isn't technically part of the vehicle.
-
Spikit is greeeeeen. That's good, because if it was red and black, it would've been way too freaky to imagine it eating Skrall. I like the whip too. Even though I didn't want one, at least it's only a soft and squishy tentacle. Off-topic: I has many masks in my new trade topic: Linky!
-
Avohkahs' Sparks, can you take a picture of all your Skrall swords in one pile, a picture of all your 20 Skrall Shields in a pile, and a picture of your Skrall canisters in a 4 x 5 stacked grid? I figure seeing you've got them it would be neat to see some of these things, and it would keep the topic productive.

B) This guy has one eye, bang in the middle of his head. That trait indicates a Cyclops, or in the Space Police case, an alien. C) TLG always released impulses of a theme with a goodie and a badie where applicable. Castle, Pirates and Mars Mission did this, so now Space Police is doing it too. D) I'll admit that there isn't exactly a clear cut colour scheme, but it's definitely not the white, trans-blue and trans-red of the Police faction, so it's safe to assume it's the baddie. E) TLG.

Technically, the summer photos are illegal, so it's in Brickshelf's best interest to get rid of them. Some other image hosting websites don't think like this however, but that doesn't mean it's not illegal.
-
Agreed. Kiina's weapon is an elemental specific water weapon and win, which isn't a standard "silver weapon".
-
What? Only Mata Nui has silver weapons, but that's because he doesn't know any better because he's from the MU.

EB Community Castle Build: Discussion Thread

Thrash, I love it! I like that it's now straight walls everywhere, because that allows us to fill in the entire interior with baseplates and community MOC goodness if we want to, and the entire thing is more sturdy. In regards to the dividing of things, this is good in some ways, like making everthing slightly more organized, but it takes away a bit of the fun of the castle where the conflicts between modules are limited to modules of the same kind. I'd prefer it is there were situations where the civilians could have conflict with the military or people of the docks could throw fish at the governors! Also, in a real castle as big as this, the Military would be divided in ways so that it had all the walls just as easily covered. An attack on the docks or the civilian area would not be as well defended from than it could be. Finally, with all the new modules and reorganized module locations, I have no idea how many of which category modules are up for suggustions. But I presume that'll come soon enough if everyone else likes it.
