Chirox is awesum because his arms are longer than Axalara T9. Seriously, go try it. Bad proportions ON!
-
True, but in the Glatorian line there isn't as much of a clear cut good/bad distinction. Gresh and Tarix seem to be good, but mainly only to their tribes, Strakk is only good for money, whilst Malum is an exile with intentions that are not nessescarily bad, Vorox are just animals and Skrall are bad to other Bara Magnians for reasons that seem good to them. So none of them are really "bad", because it's all a matter of perspective to them.
-
In the arena they all fight each other anyway, so don't base your decision too much on "good/bad" and focus on the set itself instead.

I can't imagine that going doing well with the protective parents. Besides, a slaughter house would only be good if TLG made a new chicken with a detachable head!
-
Not ones with BBQ grills and rubber tires.

IMO, the problem with those kind of stairs is that there is no space for the minifig to stand on them facing forwards or backwards. When my stairs are against the wall, I usually make them 3 studs wide without the railing, or 4 studs with one. It takes up more space, put you can have a minifig standing on them.
-
Replace the garden with another room for the staircase, because although the garden is nice, Comic Stores don't need 'em.

The letter represents the vehicle class/series and the number represents the particular vehicle within that class. IMO, it's got no valid storyline reasons and it's kinda pointless, but it makes the vehicles sound that much cooler to the kids which is what matters.

I think he means another set for a team staff review. Main problem with Cendox and team reviews is that you can't justify throwing Cendox down the hallway.

What about KK1 though? I understand KK2, but I think KK1 is still quite good. Also, if I really want to do a KK2 for the sake of it, can I justify it by having it under siege from the rest of the castle? -
Ok, entry done already : I did two vignettes, one of Water-bending and one of Earth-bending. They could easily be fighting each other in a tournament. First up, Water-bending! Here my water-bender can be seen bending a large flow of water out of the well towards his opponent! His bending stance is smooth and flowing, like the water he controls. Front: Back: Next, Earth-bending! With both feet firmly in the ground like an unmoveable rock, my earth-bender flings a giant boulder from the ground towards his opponent! The rock can be be positioned on it's hinge for a high or low trajectory. Front: Back: Finally, the minifigs! Sadly New Zealand never saw any Avatar sets, so I've never had a chance to get some Avatar minifigs, but that didn't stop me from making my own! The water-bender has warm clothing on because he lives in the north pole, and the earth-bender has a helmet and uniform to match the earth kingdom that he serves guard as. Minifigs: Hope you like them!

I think it was just a reference to the Secret of Cervatus book, just to make the book make more sense when it comes out. Greg's already reassured us that it has little storyline importance.
-
Let's not try too get too hyped about new parts though - Gresh had lime green Nuparu claws.
-
Darn - I don't have any Avatar lego. There's a max of 1 entry per person right? Can we do things as obscure as possible as long as we provide the episode that it was in?
-
Very very nice. I like the three different backgrounds and Matoro dissolving. IMO, it would be more epic if Mata Nui was looking forward, so that you could see his blue glaring eyes and a faint outline of the GS on the Ignika.

I think we do need a Forest men embassy as either a wall module, or a tree converted into a base somewhere in one of the castle parks. Speaking of which, I think we should try and include as many different Castle-theme embassies as possible, because what kind of Community castle of AFOLs would it be if it didn't include the classic factions? -
What? We've had transforming BIONICLE sets for year! Vahki transformed into beast things and the Bohrok, Bohrok-Kal and Whenua Metru transformed into balls! Skopio is how the Swamp Strider should've been done. Somebody please confirm that those are Light-blue and Silver mix Antroz Claws. Interesting on Scopio is the graphics that look like the Black Spike Mountains. I know that the maze pattern indicates storyline presence in the Maze Valley, but does this indicate storyline presence in/near the mountains? Kaxium is a dual motorcycle, with probably our only example of matching Glatorian-Agori pairs. If the motorcycle has a split and rejoin function then it is winner than win. Cendox has a Silver Thornax, is a yellow snowspeeder, and the rider has a biker's helmet and new-style bohrok feet. Thornatus has tan, and it looks like the driver has a black thin inika torso. Here's hoping that the Glat-head is trans-yellow not trans-neon-green. The preliminary picture shows that he might have black hands, but I'm not sure. If he does, who cares about the rest of the set - he is my best friend ever! Kiina has Mata blue new style joints ( ) and mata blue feet. Vastus uses lime tanma legs . Ackar appears to have upsized Rannu's fire sword  . Stronius is holding the club from the end, with no consideration of balancing a weapon at all. He may be a Super Strong Skrall on Steroids (SSSoS), but holding the heaviest BIONICLE weapon to date like that is ridiculous. .

Thanks and It has it's flaws though - the Zesk in front of the Zesk on Berix has brown around it's stinger tail, and the reflection of the Zesk next to the Zesk attacking Berix is clearly cut of in a straight line. ^ Freaky win ^
-
On the bright side, Kaxium's colour scheme is blue and something, unless those are just blue pins.
-
The is also a very dismal shot of two of the new BIONICLE larger sets as well. It's a pity that the first picture I see of them is like that.
-
Yup, eight times. EDIT: Wow! Our first look at Kaxium V3 and Thornatus V9! IMO, I think Thornatus is epic. Double Edit: Searching Google I found piece counts for the new sets. Not sure if they've been posted before, but here they are: Cendox V1: 151 pieces Kaxium V3: 251 pieces Baranus V7: 263 pieces Thornatus V9: 438 pieces Skopio XV-1: 849 pieces

OMG! Is it hypocrisy or something more sinister? Going up on BZP shortly.

You should be nicer - you're member 5000, and it'd be a pity if you didn't want to stick around.
-
I have to admit that that photo looks good, but not for the price tag. Plus, It's completely possible to make awesome army photos with just one set and a little know-how in photohop.

Do Malum claws have eyes though?
