  1. Is that perfectly a accurate design, or is it just art made to look like a technical drawing?
  2. Ok, here's my entry, which I started on before you posted that silly rule that meant it didn't have to be Power Miners. Presenting: The Crystal Charger & Mini Miner! The Crystal Charger is a subterranean super kart powered by all the crystals that the Power Miners have gathered. Using the crystal energy, it's front and rear engines propel it through underground tunnels at astonishing speed, while the shield generator in the middle of the Crystal Charger protects the vehicle and driver from harm. It also features a crystal charged explosive flick-fire missile to dispose of any nasty rock monsters that try to get in the Crystal Charger's way! Extra Crystal Charger image. The Mini Miner connects to the Crystal Charger through a connection point on the side, and is pulled along at incredible speeds by the Crystal Charger before being released and flung towards a cavern wall, where the Mini Miner activates it's dual-rock-blades to mine into the rocky wall and make a new tunnel for the Crystal Charger to drive through! Extra Mini Miner image. And here are the minifigs! (Interestingly, the driver of the Crystal Charger is the one to have suffered a head injury, despite him being the one under the shield, and not being flung into rock walls...)
  3. Fun! Another theme raffle! I presume it'll work the same way as the Avatar one right? Better get to work on finding a substitute for rock monsters...
  4. Doubt it. If it was, he would've said so.
  5. They spelt fortress wrong! How could they!
  6. Poor Greg. Some people forget that he is a person with feelings too, and that he's a really great and generous person for devoting a large amount of his spare time to answer hundreds of questions about BIONICLE on BZP everyday. However, looking at that topic, there weren't many people saying they outright hated his work. There were a lot who loved his work, and those that didn't as much acknowledged that he did the best for his job. The main reasons that people had for not liking his work were easily nulled by the points he made through numerous posts, so it was more of a compliment topic for Greg once you filtered out the unjustified dislikes. Summary - Greg is awesome, and some people need to remember that.
  7. Alliteration + Cheesy narrator = How about Glatorian Nuva or Glatorian Kal? I wanna storyline excuse for that!
  8. It sound like that guy is only making the sets seem like kits by believing they are kits and ignoring his own creativity. LEGO doesn't need to have alternate models all the time, because that's inter-matchable parts and MOCing is for! I always call my LEGO sets sets. I think the only sets that are kind of like kits are the educational school/minstorms sets.
  9. True, but Legends doesn't exactly scream BIONICLE straight away to anybody does it?
  10. I knew that you where crazy when you claimed to "misplace" your castle Kitchen, but now you say you've misplaced posts as well? Just for anybody who wants to know, my sneaky maths on jipay's profile tells me that his proper post count is either 6525 or 4683...
  11. Seeing as we've never had an English title name before, I don't see how you consider it BIONICLEish... However, I agree with you on the other points, and I like it. I just hope it won't be shortened to just "Legends" too often.
  12. That must be one very bad carrot. What is it charged with though?
  13. This contest sounds like a great incentive to amp up the module making (Alpha, I'm talking to you ), but why aren't digital entries allowed, provided they use only pre-existing pieces?
  14. Yeah, that's probably most likely because they'd be trying to promote them the most in the film, and the current story setting wouldn't really explain another 6 person faction/team.
  15. Cerix was just a misreading of the blurred Legends label. It already seems to be used by a number of other brands as well, such as watches and the Second Life game engine. So there's no way it could be used. As for the English title, we've never had that before, so it's possible that they might come up with a new title derived from the word "legends" just as Glatorian is derived from Gladiator and Phantoka is derived from Phantom.
  16. All the summer sets are going to have life-counters. We've seen them on a couple of sets, and the Super BIONICLE Action Game talks about vehicles in the game, so they're all going to have 'em. Also, Mata Nui fights the Skrall in the movie, so that guarantees that the Legend Glatorian are going to have them too. And, yes, I think it's good that the life-counters are there in summer again, because it adds to the Super BIONICLE Action Game by providing more options for arena matches, and it links the entire year of BIONICLE together much better than last year.
  17. The small demographic that Peppermint_M is probably talking about is those that are old enough to play Halo games and considers themselves young enough to by Mega Bloks. I don't think there is a very larger overlap between those two demographics, if one at all.
  18. In 2004 TLG released glow-in-the-dark versions of the disks which I would imagine would make great power cores if the printed side was concealed. Also remember that although many BIONICLE pieces don't integrate that well into system MOCs, they are still used to a great degree of creativity in BIONICLE and TECHNIC MOCs. People saying BIONICLE pieces are useless because they can't be used in their system MOCs is like saying that Minifig hats are useless because they don't fit on TECHNIC car MOCs. The only truly "useless" parts are the pieces that can't be used creatively in any proper form LEGO building or their use is extremely universally limited.
  19. To add to this, the old road plates have less unnecessary crossings, and the roads themselves are 2 studs thinner, meaning there is 1 stud row of extra space for building on either side of the roads. Also, the old baseplate system has a lot more interesting set specific baseplates (from fire stations, police stations, fuel stations and more) avaliable than the new baseplate system.
  20. I always think Zesk of cute and feral, so a baby Zesk would be a super cute critter that thinks it's feral but doesn't know the difference between inanimate objects and prey. We neeed Antrozesk to draw it for us!
  21. TLG would never have tried for games that are restricted to 15 or 16+ due to violence. Makes you wonder why MegaBloks did though - Halo and building blocks don't share a common target audience...
  22. WIN WIN WIN WIN As I said before, I'm fine with Agori families, but not Glatorian families. It's kinda like civilians and superheroes, where the civilians have families and problems and are protected by the lonesome but powerful superheroes. And just to clarify, baby Zesk = , baby Strakk =
  23. I hope that we can get children Agori and elder Agori in story, now that Glatorian are a clear-cut different species to Agori, instead of the Adult-Toa, Kid-Matoran and Grandpa-Turaga. I also hope that we get to see some pacifist Glatorian, or Glatorian that have other roles aside from fighting. Glatorian families would be slightly creepy though, I'm fine with them being a lonesome wandering species.
  24. I totally agree. I had a couple of MegaBlok army men in my LEGO box, but I took them out a while ago because it was annoying to search through LEGO and keep having non-LEGO popping up. What happened do the policeman's arm though? I know clone-brands can be cheap, but not that cheap.
