  1. Nice to know we'll get at least one unthemed series next year. I'm already excited and we know nothing so far!
  2. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a comic-based "Task Force X" set with Deadshot, Waller, red/blue Harley with pigtails, Boomerang, etc. that could tie in to the movie but still remain kid-friendly.
  3. The number allows workers or customers to know whether or not the product is in the store or not. However, since CMF series don't share shelf space, they all have the same number, which isn't helpful to those looking for a new series ahead of release.
  4. Well, if my Target had any summer sets besides Jay Walker One and Airjitzu Kai, I might have found the figures. Oh, well.
  5. That's a good point. The DCPI will pull up Simpsons S2, so that's what the employees would bring out if asked. I guess it's a matter of luck, since not all stores follow the rules. I'll be going to that new Target today, so perhaps I'll be lucky. What was really lucky is that they managed to leave the store, since there was no usual "not to be sold until ___" warning. If I don't find them, no big deal, I'll get the figs in a couple of weeks. I'll totally be fine with waiting. Sure. No agony at all... I do want to see the Scientist and Wolf Guy's regular minifig heads.
  6. *Crosses fingers for a negligent store* EDIT: Just noticed something. The Zombie Times might be run by Toxikita!
  7. S@H images have mistakes or preliminary parts half the time. MS and ZB's parts are presumably not final in this image. On the other hand, that image makes the figures look fantastic! The Banshee, Wacky Witch, and Monster Scientist in particular... It seems like LEGO are setting up the two ghosts as a couple, since they're grouped together in all of the promo shots. Actually, it's the gap in her teeth at an odd angle.
  8. Hooray for Dark Blue as a series color! That packaging looks great, and I love how the wraiths frame the group photo.
  9. Oh, so excited! Even though the Target I went to today didn't have any CMFs whatsoever, I was drooling over the ghost tail in the Ninjago displays. Crossing my fingers that this new Target in my town doesn't know the rules. A DCPI would be most welcome. Last time I tried using one a couple of years ago, I got access to a fresh box of Series 10! If I am unbelievably lucky, my purchases will most likely be 1 Spider Lady 1 Banshee 1 Fly Monster 1 Gargoyle (If I was to get eight, the Wacky Witch, Monster Scientist, Specter, and Wolf Guy would also be on the list.)
  10. Wow! I have a brand new Target in my area. Who knows, maybe they don't know the proper date.... Please take pics of them!
  11. No way they're out in the beginning of August. That is one seriously lenient Target.
  12. Saw everything but the Lighthouse and Machine at TRU today.
  13. Why not? If it's not new variations, it's at least the uncommon characters so the aftermarket value for them will drop. I don't see why they'd release boring older versions with these cars, as minifigures are a huge incentive toward buying sets, especially since the vehicles won't be as iconic as the Microfighters. If anything, Joker needs a new variant, as he's long overdue for one and he can be gotten cheaply in the Bumper Car.
  14. We've only gotten multiple variations of Joker, the Penguin, the Riddler, and Harley. Everyone else would be most welcome with new versions. Here are some possibilities: Catwoman: '66, it's obviously going to happen. Two-Face: Black and white suit? Scarecrow: B:TAS version using Wacky Witch hat to give him straw hair. Mr. Freeze: Classic dome-helmet version or The Batman version using the Infearno headgear in trans-blue. Bane: Bigfig, or different mask design. Poison Ivy: Green skin or New 52 look with tattoos. There's plenty they could do, so perhaps a couple of these will be in the Racers sets or future waves.
  15. Waiting for Series 14!

  16. Scrappy is rather infamous, however, for "ruining the franchise".
  17. This one looks like the Captain in Series 8. In the Pirates theme, most of the lower-rank pirates wear bandannas instead,
  18. Interesting concept. I like it since comic book characters tend to have ridiculous and fun custom vehicles, which I hope these sets deliver. I hope we'll get a new Scarecrow using the CMF Wacky Witch hat/hair in new colors.
  19. I'd rather know nothing until official news, because this mysterious hinting is really annoying and clutters up the topic with speculation. These small fig-pack sets sound promising, but I'm already disappointed by the new Harley because I can just tell it's not a comics minifigure, and they should have saved the piece for Jokerland. Where's Newmar gonna be?
  20. I don't know. That's just a modified Luke Skywalker hairpiece.
  21. I love them! The new Slimer mold looks great, and so does the Stay-Puft Man!
  22. The final minifigures are no different from what we've seen. The computer renders are developed before the physical figs are made, so there's room for tweaking between the CG renders' creation and the physical figs being made.
  23. Love the bios! Spider Lady's definitely got a chuckle! The Monster Scientist's influence in the series is nice, and I love the zombie family ties. So the official names we didn't know for sure were Monster Scientist, Wolf Guy, and Wacky Witch. The official pics look really good.
  24. LEGO hasn't even officially revealed the series yet, so we won't see the review until that happens. I'm liking the Banshee more now that I realized her eyebrows match her hair. I know her torso's sand green, but what color are her arms/hands? Spring Green or Light Aqua?
