  1. 1) Droid transport from J10 to J11 2) HSD from I6 to I7 3) HFD from R9 to R11 4) Droid transport from P12 to P13 5) Bloodfin from M6 to M7 Sorry, it's fixed I guess. I've been inactivate since some weeks already now.
  2. Looks interesting. Luckily, my birthday is on "May the Fourth" too - that figure would be a great extra thing to get along with my purchase of the 10212. As mentioned by someone else earlier, I'm suspecting a chrome ARF trooper as well, or a black one with a silver visor, somewhat like the shadow scout troopers. Or maybe it won't even turn out to be an ARF trooper at all. ~ General Magma
  3. Hmm, the trailer looks great, hopefully the episodes won't disappoint us either. I heard a clone trooper saying, "...this war is gonna end.". Could that mean that this is going to be the last season of The Clone Wars? Also, I managed to find a better video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-09URHNBFg&hd=1 It looks good so far, but I hope Grievous won't be beaten by that Gungan - Tarpals? Hm, hopefully he'll gain atleast a bit more strength in this season, as he's been more of a weakling in the last few seasons. ~ General Magma
  4. 1) MTT from L12 to L13 2) Hailfire droid from Q7 to Q9 3) Droid transport from P11 to P12 4) Droid transport from J9 to J10 5) AAT from N7 to N8
  5. Well, this was most likely the final addition to the speeder bike, unless there could be something better. I managed to find a way for it to stand up nicely, so it should be perfectly fine now. As you can see, I still have the pedal placed on the other side instead of the side on Praiter Yed's picture, since it would be better if it stood closer towards the body/minifig's legs. Any other things I could, or should, improve? ~ General Magma
  6. Sounds interesting, thanks for the new information. Fingers crossed for a new Yoda... Also, this would most likely be the Stun Tank: ~ General Magma
  7. FOUR different weapons, in FOUR different kinds. Sorry, bad pic, but I was in a bit of a hurry... ~ General Magma
  8. Thanks to those who replied to my most recent pics. I decided to take one of my Endor Rebels outside for some more shots. Hopefully I'll be able to improve furthermore, as well.. Which one do you like best? 9. This was a great episode, I'm actually expecting the quality of all future episodes to go upwards now. They portrayed tarkin very well, he acted much like he did in Episode IV. I thought it was actually kind of funny to see Anakin and Tarkin together on a moment taking place 21 years before Ep IV, which makes me wonder: did Tarkin actually know that Darth Vader was once Anakin Skywalker? I suppose so, though. I'm looking forward to the next episode. Hopefully it's just as good, or perhaps even better. ~ General Magma
  10. What do you mean? Leia's hair is clearly brown, and all figs in the Sith Infiltrator have dot-eyes. CW-style faces will only appear in CW sets. ~ General Magma
  11. Sorry for the delay. 1) DSD from O14 to O15 2) Droid transport from P10 to P11. 3) Droid transport from J8 to J9 4) MTT from L11 to L12 5) Hailfire droid from Q5 to Q7
  12. I decided to take some outdoor pics today. The outcome on some of them seemed pretty good to me, although the third pic is a bit out-of-focus, but it was the best out of the tries at that one. Abandoned Nature Abandoned Nature by General Magma, on Flickr Abandoned Nature Abandoned Nature by General Magma, on Flickr As for the scout trooper; on this pic he's a bit out of focus, like I said before: Entering the Woods Entering the Woods by General Magma, on Flickr Outside the Woods Outside the Woods by General Magma, on Flickr ~ General Magma
  13. Normally I don't like it when they add characters from the OT to the Clone Wars, where they would be playing a major role, but this time, I'm actually okay with it. It's Chewie - 200 years old somewhere around the GCW, and he already made an appearance in the PT. As long as he doesn't team up with another smuggler, it's A-OK. One note though: Ahsoka's death isn't going to happen anymore in this season, most likely. But they have to realize that they do have to get rid of her, sooner or later. Whichever way to make the Clone Wars blend in well better with Ep3... ~ General Magma
  14. I'm not sure whether these have already been posted or not, but I thought I'd just let you all know that there are new close-up pics out there. We already knew that Wald had the Rodian head in a new color - sand green - but it looks like that's not all... He looks great, serves for some good variety within the Rodian species, might we see another Rodian in sand green with another print. The other pictures can be found on Brickipedia by looking up the names of each specific figure. This is all for now. Hopefully it hasn't been posted yet. I'm looking forward to the Echo Base set; hopefully we'll see something of that soon, too. ~ General Magma
  15. Also, to any of the SW regulators, I wanted to correct a small mistake from the first post: The battle droid included with the Naboo starfighter is actually a security droid, not a pilot. ~ General Magma
  16. Would you ever want to marry this? They're supposed to be ugly 'buggers', and the color is much more accurate than the older version. As is the new head mold, and the same goes for the prints. It's just missing a pair of wings. I'm not expecting them to add these, which is a pity, really. Sorry, I overlooked it since there are lots of new posts each day, and I couldn't be bothered checking back just to see if anyone else already pointed that out. But it doesn't really matter, does it? It comes to people's attention much better that way, although I didn't intend to be the second person to point it out. It might just help decreasing the amount of people complaining about the accurate hole. I wonder who's the person on the hologram, though. I'd have preferred if they could just have made a transparent minifig trophy, with a grey bottom. This is pretty much fine too, though. ~ General Magma
  17. *sigh* Accuracy seems to be an unknown thing nowadays. There's supposed to be a gap in the "middle". ~ General Magma
  18. Ah, thanks for the new pics. The Millennium Falcon looks great, although it has some flaws - nothing that can't be fixed. I prefer Leia's old hairpiece, though - a pity I don't have it. Luke's new head and hairpiece look much better than the old counterparts, though. Obi-Wan seems to have a new face, and Han Solo has a new leg print. Very well... A set that will definitely appear on my list, same goes for the Ewok Attack - multiples of it - for the great figures and the pieces. Logray looks fantastic. The other Ewok looks good too, though. My only problem is the speeder bike, but OK.. But, why does Chewie have a hammer? The Podracers look very good, same goes for the figures. I am not sure whether the new sand green Rodian head can be used for Greedo or not, I'm doubting about the color, but it could probably work for both him and Wald. As for the Geonosian.. It looks great now. The color is less off, a set I could use, especially for the Geo's. I'll have to get some cheap wings, though. They had to add those as an extra, for when he's not being the pilot. The Sith Infiltrator figures look good, although I prefer the old face for Qui-Gon (I'm glad I have it in flesh), and Panaka should have had a darker skin color. The infiltrator itself looks pretty good, but I'm not sure whether I'll buy that or not. The Frigate looks pretty good, I might buy it on discount to have it next to my Cruiser from 2007. Eeth Koth and Quinlan Vos don't look good, although the body parts could be used for custom heads of 'em. I spot a new hologram. Wolffe and the clone look pretty good, could be used for some other troopers too. No, it's just the same. I don't want them to improve it either; I have a chrome Vader, after all.. ~ General Magma
  19. There could be a droid gunship or a vulture droid for (2) Droid Pilot, perhaps a Separatist Shuttle for (3) Nute Gunray, the Slave I could be for (6) Boba Fett (although I don't think they'd add him there...), (8) an Imperial Shuttle for, perhaps, either a shuttle pilot or Darth Vader, and a TIE Pilot for (9) TIE Fighter. And then, besides the 9 figures and 9 accessoires, there should be 6 more additions, as we're at 18 now. Those seem logical, although - like I said before - I doubt they would add Boba Fett. ~ General Magma
  20. These look great, my favorites would have to be the Republic Commandos. They're only missing Sev for now, but the helmet print might be too hard to do for now. The only thing that bothers me is that their visors are black, which should be light blue, but AreaLight said that it wasn't going to work well with blue. So, painting would have to do, I guess. But other than that, they're all very nice, and I must make sure to pick up some, one day. ~ General Magma
  21. Hmm, I haven't thought of that yet. That will be an issue indeed.. Perhaps I'd be better off using decals. ~ General Magma
  22. Thanks for these pics, once again. The Podracers look great! I'll need lots of those minifigs for Rodians, Toydarians, Dugs etc... I like Sebulba's pod best. But is it just me, or does it look like Sebulba's legs can move as they're loose from each other? The Republic Frigate... Well, when the figures don't appeal to me and the set itself doesn't either, then it's a pass. I might buy it on discount, though (if there'll be any) to keep the "collection" of Frigates of that style complete. Sith Infiltrator: I don't really like the 'studdy' look of the Infiltrator on some spots, but overall: it looks very good and bigger than the previous two. The figures are good - but I would probably just want Qui-Gon's hair and body, so I can use the better flesh head from the 2007 Rep. Cruiser. From what I can see, the new head doesn't look like Qui-Gon/Liam Neeson. I could use Padme and Captain Panaka, though. I need a closer view of Darth Maul to make a conclusion, but I'd say it's a pass, except for maybe the torso. The giant forehead looks horrible, and although I really want horns on Darth Maul, they could have made a hood with holes in the inside for him, to fit over a regular horned head.. I would have liked horns without needing to have that giant forehead put on. I'll end up buying this set anyways, though. All in all, this wave is best for the figures, which are fantastic. Logray remains my favorite, though. I wonder if there's an easy and effective way to make him a generic Ewok when you have too many multiples. We're still missing pics of the Geonosian Starfighter - hopefully that Geonosian will get a better color. Cody might be replaced, since we've only seen him in the oldest prelim shots. Commander Jet? I doubt so, although we're getting lots of great new figures already. ~ General Magma
  23. Thanks for the new pics! Hoping to see the rest soon too.. And the interiors. Millennium Falcon: Some parts here and there that need serious fixing.. Cockpit is too big, gaps, etc. But other than that it looks great, and I'm glad to be able to have my own Falcon. Could use some modding. Leia's new hairpiece looks ugly, but the rest of the figures are great. Ewok Attack: The speeder bike is an issue, made a better version myself already, the tree is meh but features great parts... But then, the Ewoks. The black furred Ewok is great, but Logray.. Fantastic. I was right about him being my favorite fig of wave 2 (and the year for that matter) from the beginning. ~ General Magma
  24. For the upper wings I'm planning to use plates using the SNOT technique, to create the identification markings. The red stripes would be the size of a 1x2 - this is a plus of the SNOT technique, the wings may seem too thick but it gives the starfighter a more streamlined and elegant look, and the marks are in most occasions less thick than with the use of non-SNOT wings. Old lt. gray pieces may be replaced with their light bley counterparts, but the old gray pieces would be placed elsewhere to resemble the old/rusty/aging looking spots from the 'real' starfighters. The first variant I'll be making would most likely be the Red 5 for Luke Skywalker. Some tan on the top of the nose, the broken red-stripe pattern on the sides of the nose.. And the other 2 X-Wings would differ from each other. So no, I won't follow the footsteps of TLC. Thanks. Whether it was meant as a question or not - it would look better, for sure. After the completion of all four wings, I'll move onto the body. Keep the suggestions coming! ~ General Magma
  25. I haven't gotten around to changing anything so far, but I have been thinking what pieces to use to lengthen the wings of the X-Wing. Another slope would make it too big. And just for you guys to make a final conclusion, whether it should be longer or not, a comparison shot with a figure: What do you think? Suggestions are appreciated. ~ General Magma
