  1. Looks like Darth Maul and Savage Opress are plotting some things for the future now. Maybe an attack on the Jedi after all, as was the false rumor for 'Revenge'...? Ventress survived through the finale as well, so I wonder what's gonna happen to her - and what becomes of Boba after she locked him up in that box. We know that we're going to see the Slave I coming back, but not in what state it is now... We also heard that season 5 will probably highlight Ahsoka (and perhaps also her death... something that would make sense could be an action by Anakin resulting in her death, after which his self-blame pushes him further towards the dark side) plus the return of the Mandalorians. Just thoughts of mine mixed with facts though. I still wonder why we didn't get a new trailer after the last episode, and when we could expect it otherwise. Also... I don't see any spoilers here right now, do you? ~ General Magma
  2. While a Chrome C-3PO is something we could hope for, I don't think they would re-release an older chrome figure. Still possible nonetheless. A chrome Ewok makes no sense to me - and what else that has orange 'eyes' would make more sense in chrome than C-3PO, although we already had that before? Besides, all the Ewok figures we've gotten so far never had orange eyes, so why would a chrome Ewok do so? But if it really is a new Chrome C-3PO, I'm gonna have some even bigger problems with money this year, unless you can get it with LOTR sets as well.. Else I'd have to spend money on SW sets mainly for the figure besides buying all LOTR sets. ~ General Magma
  3. What, did you think he had that much hair on his legs? Clearly supposed to be boots. The only figures I've seen with boot printing would have to be the older Avatar figures, and the collectible minifigs, and now as for the latter which is mostly due to cheapness of the printing, while normal figures would cost more. ~ General Magma
  4. Yes, but they've done that quite a lot of times in the past. This was, for example, done with the older ep3 Obi-Wan figure from the SW line, who had earth orange legs to resemble the color of his boots. I know that many people may be disappointed that there's no black on Aragorn's legs, but this was most likely the reason. ~ General Magma
  5. I just wonder why they didn't get Eomer right on the site and still depicted him as a Rohan soldier. One of the Rohan soldiers has his quiver the other way round, a more orange-like hair color and a, seemingly, darker helmet color. That might be another mistake too, though... Wouldn't say slight since olive green doesn't really look like brown or grey to me. ~ General Magma
  6. I'm actually pretty sure that the rest of the leg coloring on at least both of Aragorn and Legolas are meant to represent the color of their boots. This is why Aragorn's legs are dark tan without any black - Legolas seems to need no change though. The dark grey works well enough. Regarding the cape issue: Pippin is actually supposed to have a brown cape in the Moria set. I wonder why they chose olive green for Merry and Pippin's capes, since Pippin had much of a reddish brown one (luckily there are the Jawas from the old Sandcrawler set with those) while Merry's was more of a grey-ish color. (Note: this was before they got the Lothlorien cloaks. From there, all members of The Fellowship should have a grey cape. I wonder if they would add capes to the figures without them (or change the color on figures like Boromir) in a future Amon hen set...) ~ General Magma
  7. The site works for me, but now that I just checked, they've added the Rohan soldier (and funnily, Eomer is still portrayed as the Rohan soldier too... just two different pictures), the Mordor orc and naked Lurtz... Now I don't know if they just like to tease us with two different poses of a Rohan soldier with once a wrongly depicted quiver telling us that one of them is Eomer, but it's more likely to be some kind of mistake. Nonetheless, the Rohan soldier looks like a great figure, but I think that it would've looked better if they had used dark grey hips with dark brown legs, instead of full dark brown... at least, that's the kind of thing I'm using for my own soldiers. Other than that I'm disappointed with the lack of a green cape. They've put that on Eomer instead... And now I'm just wondering what the TV ads are going to be like... ~ General Magma
  8. I guess that means her death then. I also think Darth Maul might become a recurring character, and that Obi-Wan might somehow a) be defeated but not killed, or b) defeats Maul, but he manages to escape. And Trench didn't die then, hm? Interesting, I wonder what his further roles will be if it's true. Oh, great - everybody, prepare for 200 seasons. ~ General Magma
  9. The description mentions 9 figures, the box art shows 10 figures... Explain that. He's either going to be there and they forgot to add him to the description, or they just cancelled him like the tactical droid a few years back. ~ General Magma
  10. Ah, 7 seasons it is, then. Hopefully they're going to switch to more of a war with larger battles, as long as they don't show too many main characters. I'd actually like to see some huge battles with the introductions of new (named) characters, that being mostly characters playing roles later in the series as well instead of dying in the first episode (or story arc) that they're introduced in. I've noticed that, by each season, the episodes tend to become darker, so perhaps they're slowly moving onto the deaths of main characters. And then, regarding Cad Bane... I'm doubting they're going to kill him off anytime in the series, I feel like he might have some potential to play a part in 'Star Wars: Underworld', although he loses his reputation as the best bounty hunter to Boba Fett. Obi-Wan's family. I've read that we're going to see something of Obi-Wan's home planet where his family still lives, and I think Darth Maul might cause some kind of massacre there. But then, where is the Jedi Temple attack? Was that a false "rumor" or will we still see that? ~ General Magma
  11. Is it time for me to be disappointed now, or is Ree-Yees in the set and did the people of the store decide to ignore him or just to forget he is there? No single description seems to list Ree-Yees, while his name was still on the box at ToyFair. I'd be disappointed if they dropped him as I want that kind of species in LEGO form. ~ General Magma
  12. Well, Darth Maul didn't appear in 19 and 20, and was only seen the last 5 minutes of 21 (although half of the 4 episode arc revolves around him), so it wouldn't be unlikely for Ahsoka to have more of a role in 22, what with the attack on the Jedi Temple, and Anakin versus Darth Maul and all. 2-3 further seasons? I thought season 5 was likely to be the last, but I guess I'm not up-to-date on things regarding that, then. That "snake thing" is Morley, a male member of the Anacondan species. (The species that first appeared serving drinks in a cantina in 'Deception' - only Morley and that other one are known) ~ General Magma
  13. Exactly my thoughts, but I believe I was being told that I was crazy when I said that months ago. Right now, the only thing to make Maul's return something big to me would be killing off Ahsoka. To (sort of) repeat what I said pretty long ago, it will be a duel that will draw Anakin closer to the dark side. Some attempts at persuading him isn't gonna work, so what better way to end the season and to make Maul's return worth it would there be than the end of Ahsoka at his hands? Now don't be jumping at me shouting that this would just be ridiculous. It is probably only the second to last season, why would they kill Ahsoka off at the end of the series? It wouldn't make any sense to me, as 1) the end shows some aspects of order 66 and thus would be too close to ROTS and 2) wouldn't they be talking about it in ROTS then? Anakin would have to be upset at the beginning of ROTS already if this were to happen at the end of the series as he wouldn't so soon forget or calm down about it, so my bet is that Ahsoka will have her last week starting from now... ~ General Magma
  14. They added the Nazgûl and the Uruk-hai to the list of figures, but they still didn't get Eomer done right... hope they show us the actual Eomer figure instead of the Rohirrim soldier. Also, in case anyone was wondering, last year we had news for the January waves of sets around July, so I suspect we'll hear more about The Hobbit sets by then. Perhaps they'll toss in a few LOTR sets too, who knows... Perhaps a little bit of a mix with the majority of The Hobbit sets. ~ General Magma
  15. The same things I said on Flickr can be applied here - it looks great, the best part for me would have to be the body with its legs. The little scene you made for it looks great and is nicely detailed as well. Just one thing though: orcs had black blood, but oh well, the blood wouldn't look as good in black colors here as it does in red, I bet. Guess that's one of the reasons you used that. Very nice job overall. Looking forward to see more LOTR MOCs from you. ~ General Magma
  16. I would expect a new troll figure with its own helmet. Armored trolls often have breastplates 'n all as well, so I can see them using a thick layer on the body for that, or just a print on the body. But I can't see them making a new helmet mold, it would be better if they made a new figure then. Let's hope we'll see one in a Minas Tirith set in the next wave. I'd say there are 2 shields and 2 swords as depicted on the box, at the very least. If not, then there would be some extra stuff, but the Uruk-hai without the breastplate seems to be the one they use for the axe-wielding Uruks. ~ General Magma
  17. I'm not sure what they will be doing for the next waves. We're getting sets from The Hobbit for certain, but perhaps they'll toss in a few LOTR sets as well. Perhaps we'll have both a LOTR and The Hobbit wave at once, although that would be very doubtful. There is a possibility of more LOTR sets, however, since the first movie does not feature all events from the book and ends at around halfway through, with some additions made here and there. (Battles) But when you take that into consideration, then maybe there isn't enough possibility for an entire wave of sets from The Hobbit, so perhaps we'll see some LOTR stuff. ~ general Magma
  18. I'm not sure if it was ever confirmed that Embo was brought to jail in the first place, but before that, a disguised Obi-Wan broke out of the jail Bossk and Boba were in with Cad Bane and Moralo Eval, and because of that, many others managed to escape as well. If not, it should be explained in the episode. ~ General Magma
  19. These look great so far! The Balrog might not be the right size but it's still great looking nonetheless. I wish TLC had done the Moria set in a similar style. There's still Amon-Hen and maybe Lothlorien to be done. ~ General Magma
  20. What? Don't vomit on that Gollum figure, I actually think it's great. ~ General Magma
  21. There should be a video embedded in top of the article. It might take a while to load for some, but I'm sure it should be there. ~ General Magma
  22. Heh, hadn't thought of doing that, but I might do it anyways. That way I can just watch all four of them as if it were a movie. Still skeptical about that though... it means a longer wait. But hey - if it's a better experience then I'm up for the wait. The trailer really is amazing, I'm expecting these episodes to become the best ones (together a story arc) of the entire Clone Wars series. For some reason, I think that Raxus Prime might show up in one of these episodes - unless it could even be the very location of Darth Maul himself... ~ General Magma
  23. Watched 'The Dark Knight' yesterday. Great and very action-packed movie, looking forward to 'The Dark Knight Rises' now... ~ General Magma
  24. These look nice, as does the editing, but I don't get "purist but painted" - was that intended to be a joke? No no, he just hates everyone with the name Brian. He simply does not care about them! Poor Brians. Needs a capitulated 'B' at that though. ~ General Magma
  25. I think 'Underworld' is supposed to become a pretty dark series. Doubt it will really be aimed at children, but whatever it's aimed at doesn't seem to matter so much for the LEGO license, as usually with Star Wars. I'm sure they'll use 'Underworld' (and by 'they' I mean TLC) as an opportunity to have something extra to make sets for. Perhaps it will help tone down the amounts of remakes we've been getting lately, and whatever the show will be aimed at, I think it wouldn't receive an 18+ stamp, that would be very unusual for Star Wars. Besides, Lord of the Rings isn't really something that's aimed at children either. If this 'Underworld' thing goes on, I'd make sure to expect sets from that in the future. ~ General Magma
