Possible Future Pirate Exclusives
Captain Blackmoor replied to David Thomsen's topic in LEGO Pirates
Nothing more to add! Except for a merchant vessel. Now only hope something like that is really going to happen. -
If you need help with posting images, please visit the turtorials. It might be very useful. Also make sure your images are no larger then 800x600. Your Chinese port is awesome, incredebly detailed and it's huge! I'd like to see some pictures of the Junk! It looks rather nice.

There aren't that much birds around here... yet... Your birds are quite nice! I really like this MOC, the nature in it and the old crumbling wall. I'm not too fond of the bright red roof, while the rest looks old. I'd recommend to use another colour or place some foliage on the roof to make it look older. I also like the fish-cutter and the barrels on the sides of the horse are nice as well. That lumberjacker looks like he is planning to kill somebody.

Here is already an index from all the pirate/imperial/islander armies. It might be useful. Currently I have 6-7 custom made Bluecoat marines, 12 original Bluecoats and 1 silly Redcoat along with a custom Redcoat commander.

Hehe, we went to the pub yesterday. The only Halloweenish thing I've seen was a pirate barkeeper and someone else dressed as E.T. Sad enough Halloween isn't celebrated that much in Holland.

Wonderful job again SlyOwl! I love this one! The action and details are very nice. I really like the broken window! And that guy in the crate chased by the shark is great as well. I also see a great roofing technique again, very creative! How have you made the poles on the sides of the dock, with the ropes? That looks very interesting! Great work SlyOwl!

Nice Joey, and happy halloween to you too! Did I spot your Tournament prize in the first picture? I also see the flag has been stolen from the fortress, you Reddies could't afford a new one to claim the pumpkin?

Where have you been posting
Captain Blackmoor replied to Big Cam's topic in Forum Information and Help
It was more a reaction on Zorro's post, seems to be I'd better quote it in the future. I also agree it was slightly off topic. -
First of all I'd like to welcome you to Eurobricks! The photo wasn't taken to proof I was there, it was more to show the Redcoat fans on this forum the Blues are still very powerful. I had my 12 Bluecoats for 20 euros on Ebay, and the Bluecoats I've bought on Legoworld were 2 euros per minifig. I really want to join the club next year, so yes, Bonaparte can count on me! I hope my ship is ready next year. Perhaps there is a chance to build more smaller ships as well. Personally I think the bows in the fort were great, you can see the soldiers and cannons in there as you said, which is nice. I defenitely see you and BeLug next year!

That was funny! That guy has a big love for fishies! Sometimes the voices were too loud, but overall the sound was perfect. Perhaps you can make a better background next time. It's not really piracy now. Nice job! And keep making these short videos!

Pirate Island with harbor mountain beach and many more
Captain Blackmoor replied to maydayartist's topic in Pirate MOCs
That's Burg Eltz in Germany, I've been there and it was awesome. Perhaps funny to know this castle is on my want-to-build list. Also the Reichsburg in Cochem is a very nice one. -

Obviously pirates and historic themes. Pirate MOCs: 48% That's quite a lot while I'm active on other forums as well. -
Pirate MOC help - can't remember what it is!
Captain Blackmoor replied to MrTools's topic in LEGO Pirates
How dare you! I believe that is quite a large MOC you have in mind, keep us posted of your progress! I think it will be rather interesting. Good luck! -
We also left bagless with our pirate gang. In the train on the way back there were a few kids and they told us what was in the goodybag: Some candies A small LEGO tractor set (!) A LEGO comic Some LEGO folders The Legoworld program book. We had a great time on the way back, sorting out the bricks we've bought, having fun with it and drinking some beers. Man I wish it was next year already...

What are you going as for halloween?
Captain Blackmoor replied to ProducePrincess's topic in Community
In the Netherlands there is not really halloween celebration. Ah well I'll have a good drink in the local pub then. Thinking on how much fun you guys have. -
I also just saw it on Flickr, it looks great. I'm a big fan of the landscaping and it's details. Particulary the snow and the waterfall are awesome. The castle looks great as well. I really like the walls and the walkways behind them.

Build a frigate with Captain Green Hair
Captain Blackmoor replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Pirate MOCs
A thing I always love to see, an interior in a ship! I'm curious on how it will look like. Be sure to keep us posted! Good luck with the build! -
I am what I am, and I act like what I am. I had a good laugh when I saw your entry, it is very funny. It is also nicely built. And I'd recommend to leave the camera there where he is now, Zuloo isn't Zuloo anymore without his camera. Those two are one. The skateboard could be removed though. Furthermove I don't see a major point which could be improved, except for the fact my bicorne should be turned 90 degrees. Good luck on the contest!

WIP: Achille and Guerrière, French Frigates of 28 guns
Captain Blackmoor replied to BrickPerfection's topic in Pirate MOCs
I see cannons. I also spot some other interesting things in there, the yards, figurehead, windows and drinking accessories? Good luck assembling your ship! -
Evolution of Decal
Captain Blackmoor replied to Commander Flash's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I make my decals on MS Paint as well. The only suggestion so far I'd like to give is to use thicker lines. I rarely use the smallest line, you almost don't see them on the decal. Here is the warehouse of my decals. I'd also recommend to get used with the curved lines tool, you will have to use it a lot. Furthermore you should continue making decals, the more you make, the better you become. Good luck! -
Haha, this is quite funny! Perhaps you may make the arms thicker. The orc on the castle made me laugh, very kindly "bye!"

EB Community Castle Build: Discussion Thread
Captain Blackmoor replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm almost done with 2 of the 3 entries I'm going to build. I will start with the Castle build after PTV, because a lot of bricks are in PTV projects now. -
You won't know how much I've listened to Kamelot! Great band!
-
Same story here Captain! So what is next? Are you going to think someone has made a gigantic awesome MOC of a monster, which takes your keyboard as breakfast. And suddenly realise your keyboard is really gone? Seriously though, this topic made my day.

EB Community Castle Build: Discussion Thread
Captain Blackmoor replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
With the PTVII contest running I haven't much time, but I will work on the Lumberjack Lodge and the Fletcher!
