Lots of Dutch people commenting in the beginning. I really see the Dutch building style in here, the bricks look great. I was planning once to build a brick castle with brown bricks, but was afraid it would look like wood. Now I see it's really nice. The tan bridge is also neat, good choice of colours instead of more brown. Great creation again DNL!

Check out the frontpage of Classic-Pirates.com! There's something different then boats with sails.

I agree with all the above. Good luck!

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean - Coming Soon?
Captain Blackmoor replied to legolooney's topic in LEGO Pirates
Welcome to Eurobricks! I'm sure it is not necessarry to post the same topic twice, in different forums. The subject just doesn't belong in the MOC-forum. I'm also sure we had a topic before about POTC LEGO. But I do like the poster you've made! Now only change the name positions. -
The Tragedy of La Mort Royal
Captain Blackmoor replied to Commodore Hornbricker's topic in Pirate MOCs
Yeah, it is interesting to see what beer can do! I see you are running several great projects Commodore! It sounds great! There are a lot of ships under construction those weeks. I wish you all the best Commodore, keep us posted! -
And I will beat everyone!! I think the trailer version of the large video is a lot better, more action and some funny things in it. Like the pirate slashes the feather off the imperial's soldier's hat, and place it o his own. I wonder where he got that orlock from? Perhaps you need to flourish up the background, it's just a plain green plate now. It could use some trees and basic buildings. Otherwise, a nice improvement!

YaY! Another Christmas treat! Not even close I think since my ship (the Victory doesn't even need to fire at it, it will just sail through it) already costs a few houndred Euros.

First of all I'd like to welcome you to Eurobricks, I hope you will have a great time here. I also see you've attached the image. Here are some turtorials which might be useful to help you out with posting pictures. I see a very promising port growing there, nice details as well! The buildings are quite narrow, perhaps you can add more width to them to add even more realism. You have done a great job so far, and I'm sure I'll follow the progress! Keep it up!

The Tragedy of La Mort Royal
Captain Blackmoor replied to Commodore Hornbricker's topic in Pirate MOCs
Ah there I see some rigging and masts indeed. I'm glad she'll keep the Blue flags, red just doesn't fit with her. (no offence. ) I'd say you should keep us posted about her progress! -
The best sailing ship outside the Pirate theme
Captain Blackmoor replied to oo7's topic in LEGO Pirates
The USS Constellation has stolen my vote, a great ship which I'd like to see on a larger scale! The viking ship was a close one though. Great topic 007! -
I think you have the perfect tools to make a nice video, three seconds is just far too short. I'm looking forward to the longer duel, I like your videos but they could do with some more length. Quality above Quantity. Oh and you will never beat Armendariz!

The Tragedy of La Mort Royal
Captain Blackmoor replied to Commodore Hornbricker's topic in Pirate MOCs
Bring it with you in the plane might be even better. I agree it is heartbreaking to see your masterpiece in this state. I think this is one of the reasons why I build modular ships, they can be transported easily. Not sure about the rigging though. I wish you luck with the build Hornbricker! -
The Tragedy of La Mort Royal
Captain Blackmoor replied to Commodore Hornbricker's topic in Pirate MOCs
After seeing that ship in real, it is defenitely not funny to see it in this shape! I see lots of bricks scattered over the floor, but not a single rope! Where did the rigging go? I hope she will be rebuild soon, and ready to sail. Another question, will she keep the Blue flag? -
I love that one!
-
Yup that's right! The celebration of peace will be on the frontpage of Classic-Pirates.com 5 December!

I feel ashamed I didn't notice this topic earlier. As usual a great creation SlyOwl! I still can't believe you can whip up the most amazing MOCs in no time! I love the details again, the wall, the building and especially their roofs are lovely. You are always using that almost sinking dinghy aren't you? Great creation Sly!

Yeah I like it as well. Perhaps tan walls would be better, to fit with the desert landscape.
-
You pirate! Thanks! Thanks! Yes indeed, never trust an odd well that appears suddenly. As first I thought the rope piece could be used as some roots, or a way to climb out for the pirate. Ah well, it looks good in my opinion. Yups! There are two of them. The pirate below has one, and the 'gem thrower' near the well.

Captain Blackmoor replied to QuartermasterRobert's topic in LEGO Pirates
Is it possible to provide us a link to the interesing pages on that site? I can't find anything about pirate LEGO. -
Pirate Advent Calendar SPOILER FREE Discussion
Captain Blackmoor replied to David Thomsen's topic in LEGO Pirates
The Advert Calendar is still not in my collection. And that is a shame. I think I'm already too late, but is it actually such a 'must have' set? It doesn't contain something spectacular. \ -
Pillage the Village II - VOTING - Small Category
Captain Blackmoor replied to SlyOwl's topic in Pirate MOCs

I wish you the same ImperialScouts, happy holidays. Nice idea.

Which type of flags do you like better?
Captain Blackmoor replied to Ratshot's topic in LEGO Pirates
Interesting poll! I think the material used in the new flags is better, but I prefer the old patterns since the new ones are more cartoony. It would be ideal if they made soft plastic flags (or cloth would be even better!) with the old patterns. -
Pillage the Village II: The Calm After the Storm

Now this was fun aye?
