And he strikes again! I'm in awe of your building speed. The church/mission is great, the only nitpick I have are the red 1x1 round bricks sticking out of the walls, I think brown looks better. As well for the roof. I also notice a nice stained glass window.

I'm sure mister Teddy is working as a beast on the ship, and I also think if he has done an huge update he would post it immediately. Just wait and see, perhaps there might be something spectacular on the way!

Thanks Ratshot! You are the Spaniard in front of the ship, with the pistol aiming at the running CGH. Thanks Rick! To be honest I think the picture quality has been improved a lot, at least for some pictures, that is. Only your face is included, no worries! I take a few closeups in a few moments! You can check them on flickr. Thanks Captain! I'm glad you like the galleon, and it's lantern. Quite some puzzling but I'm very happy with the result. The reason why you haven't your green hair is simple, I do not own a green hairpiece yet! Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like it! Thanks for your nice words Big Cam! I didn't own, and still don't, own that much bricks, so I had to order quite a lot. Yup, got ya! You seem to be quite agile. Thanks! You couldn't pick a different face instead of the rare pumpkin face? I hope an evil skull will satisfy you. No doubt you will appear in one of my MOCs soon! Thank you a lot Commodore! Indeed, you are the Spanish officer watching his steps in the soaky mud. Don't worry about the jar, I have cleaned it yesterday, and it is ready to use. So perhaps you will see yourself on display again in the future.

Yeah I like it as well! The whale/incredible-large-fish-monster-thingy is excellent, and the ship is great too. Especially it's interior is very nice. I also really like the white plates as sails! I might try that out myself sometime. But ey! Now there are two Unicorn ships at sea! Good luck at the contest!

I can't say it better! Very well done! Perhaps I might steal borrow some details, like the painting guy and the saw... Good luck at the contest! -
The marvellous golf course has been blogged on Classic-Pirates.com!

Project Waterloo 1815: 45ème de ligne
Captain Blackmoor replied to Tanotrooper's topic in Pirate MOCs
Although I prefer the normal LEGO minifigs, I have to say you have impressed me. I see some smart things in here, and the army is huge! Napoleon's arm in his coat is nice as well. I can see you've spend a lot of time and effort in this, and the work paid off! Btw, does every man has a different Fleshie heads? In that case, you have a lot of heads! That's something different then LEGO armies in which every man has the same standard face. -
WIP: Le Défenseur A French Frigate
Captain Blackmoor replied to General Armendariz's topic in Pirate MOCs
I think the 1x4 yellow plate in the lowest row should be replaced by a 1x3 plate. And another 1x2 plate between the 1st and 2nd line, close to the ship. Furthermore it's a nice improvement. -
And I love the result! Top quality work, so many details and interesting techniques! Especially the round part and dome are awesome, great work! The colours are nice, but I think the landscape around it could do with some more work.

Thanks! Glad to know the 2 months paid off! I agree the last week of the contests are always exciting, great to see how everyone has been working secretly. I'm sure the galleon will get a new home soon, on the shelf this time. Not sure what I'm going to do with the MOC itself, it's pretty huge and I don't want to destroy it! Thanks for your nice words! Thank you a lot! I'm glad one of the best port builders around is excited about it, thanks! Thanks TheOtters! The islander 'hair' is just nice usage of pieces I guess. I'm glad you like it! Check out the pub's front wall... I'm sure you will find 2 grey frogs there, they are statues, but still frogs! About the sigfigs: If a member has a sigfig, I always try to get the face as fast as possible. It's a lot of fun to include eachother's sigfigs in MOCs. Hmm. It seems to be I have forgotten some names in the list as well.

Nice improvement on the headrails already, I agree they are very, very hard to do! I support the suggestion of the good Captain Greenhair. Are you also going to use blue in it? We have already hanged them, seems to be we have forgotten you. I believe there are some privateers around though... -
Again a proof you should never hand over your treasure map! Nice vignette you've got there Ricecracker! I like the ground textures, although I'm not too fond of the tan tiles. The coconuts under the palm leaves are a nice detail. Good luck at the contest!

PtV II "Captain CaLego Jack in heaven"
Captain Blackmoor replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Pirate MOCs
Nice improvements Admiral! I see you've put my bricks in good use! The clouds work very well for me, the clouds in the blue background are simple, yet effective. I have to agree with TheOtters, but on the other hand a flower fits great in there. Perhaps the wife of the hanged pirate laid flowers there. Or perhaps there are already so many corpses buried under the gallows, the ground is very fertile. I think some other colours instead of plain green would do a nice job though. Nice work Admiral! And good luck in the contest! -
Architecture. What is that? Looks like he's kidnapped! The Captain going to the harbour office. For those who recognized themself in this MOC, that is no coincedence. Here is the list of the included sigfigs: Wouwie Zorro Erdbeereis Captain Zuloo SlyOwl Captain Greenhair Commodore Hornbricker Joey Lock Guss Ratshot General Armendariz I Scream Clone Admiral Croissant Cutlass-Iz Shadows Hound Knight Me More pictures on Flickr, pictures of the interiors coming tomorrow! Already thanks for watching!

WIP: Le Défenseur A French Frigate
Captain Blackmoor replied to General Armendariz's topic in Pirate MOCs
Excellent work General! I'm glad you have a ship soon to sail on! I think you should get plain red gunports, the print isn't realistic IMO. You are doing a great job on the curve and tumblehome. The headrails are a bit blocky though, perhaps removing one row and replacing it by a yellow hose? Great work anyway! -
Thanks guys for the feedback! Although I'm unable to rebuild it because all my bricks have been used in "something else". I have built this from the leftovers. It's still intact, I will update it I think, but I have only a day left so...

Listen to the Alestorm fan! Nancy is a nice song. Off to her tavern: I can't say much of it, it's just... excellent! Top quality landscaping! Perhaps some different colours in the cliffs? The details are overwhelming again, and the building is awesome. Really nice job!

103a A mysterious well has been discovered, just out sight of the city walls. People believed it was a well of fortune, by throwing in some gold coins or even gems, your wishes would become true. Of course, that never happened. Instead of going away, people started throwing even more valuable items in the well, hoping their wishes would be granted in any way. At the end, just one person was rich. And that was the pirate who build the well a few weeks ago. Overview. Here we have the pirate, catching 'his' gold, gems and rare idols. People throwing all their valuables in the well. Even gems! Thanks for watching! More pictures at MOCpages!

Thanks for organizing the raffle! Unfortunately I didn't find any time to 'raffle' something nice. The Pillage The Village contest ends monday, and it still needs a lot of work.

The foundation of the Dutch 16th century economy! Awesome ship DNL! Your hull technique is quite inspriring! The yellow sai looks a bit out of place to me, perhaps a tan sail was better, but I like the custom rigging! I can't wait for the more detailed pics, I will comment more!

Reference Material for Creating more Realistic Ships
Captain Blackmoor replied to QuartermasterRobert's topic in LEGO Pirates
Thanks lads! I think this might be quite useful! Nice idea to share them as well. -
I feel the urge to get building again! Excellent entry ISC! Great details and odd idea as well, I like that. I would never have thought on islanders with a carrot ceremony. The tree house/fort is awesome! You've made a difficult-to-beat entry ISC, I wish you luck at the contest!

And believe me, Zorro's rum is tasty! As you can see I couldn't get enough. I like your improvement Ratshot! Although there are less sigfigs now, it is still even funny. I love the stripper. Good luck mate!
