  1. This can be very useful for upcoming MOCs of me. Great job on making them LuxorV! Nice job. Edit: you've inspired me to build something! This is going to be awesome, I start with it once PTVII is finished.
  2. It's always sad to see a beauty go to the bottom of the oceans. This is really too bad. Lucky enough you were able to find some wreckage on the beach, and I hope another ship will set sail soon. Good luck on the new/next ship! And don't throw her from her stand again.
  3. Outstanding creation again Derfel! The church fits very nicely in this diorama. The cliff is great as usual, great job on all those details. I also really like the look of the church, the windows are awesome and the angular brown tiles in the tower as well. Very realistic! I'm looking forward to the night scene you mentioned... Great work!
  4. Sweet frog over there. I'm sure the captain thinks it's a green gem. Nice work on the greenery and SNOT water. Good luck in the contest you've mentioned!
  5. That's exactly what I mean. I need only a few parts, then I see some bricks which are always handy, and "oh, a few of these and those might be handy as well..." Always the same.
  6. What a waste. You are a cruel madman Prateek. Sand in the eyes does hurt.
  7. Bring it on! I'm looking forward to see your large army. Regiment 13... Bad luck for them I'm afraid.
  8. The first thing I noticed was the graphic effects of lightning you've put in there. Awesome. The fireplace looks okay but I'm not sure about the dark green cheese slopes above it. Furthermore the entry looks great! Good luck at the contest!
  9. I've made the cabin walls straight, with toilet spaces at the sides. These walls lean inside. Hope that helps.
  10. It does, I just had never seen it before. I always thought the name was beneath the windows. Good luck on your ship!
  11. Received another too expensive bricklink order today, now I can finally continue the build of my PTVII entry. I should stop spending those ammounts of money on LEGO.
  12. Got my ticket for Sunday the 25th, Admiral Croissant as well.
  13. That is not a funny way to awake. It looks great and the idea is also very good. I feel sorry for the soldier.
  14. It looks quite well Jammiedodger! But if I'm not mistaken the maximum ammount of pictures is 6. The boat yard itself looks fine for me. A couple of colour changes would do a nice job. I see a lot of red and yellow and it looks out of place IMO. I like the small balcony, great addition. Perhaps also an idea to leave the islanders out and replace the canoe with a brown one. It's more realistic I think. Furthermore you've got a nice entry there Jammiedodger, good luck at the contest!
  15. Exactly, but not every slope of course. Just make the big line of slopes smaller. Perhaps you could make some details in there as well. Any plans for the tumblehome already?
  16. I completely understand you, it is frustrating if you request a decal and the maker who said yes leaves for a while. My apologies. As I said not long ago I would step back in the decal making process again, and so I did! Here is your torso decal, I'm working on the mask. I'm sorry for the delay in it but I had a busy period.
  17. Till now the ship is progressing very nicely. But! I think you're building too high! Now it doesn't look that bad, but you'll get into trouble once you reach the tumblehome. Remember the ship gets even wider in the middle, your stern is already extremely high and wide. I'm afraid the middle of the ship doesn't fit on the prefab hulls causing the ship looks like a cigar. (CGH's quote. ) The higher cabins, the higher the gundecks are. Here's my stern, an update will come soon once my PTV entries are done. I've experienced this height of the stern is the maximum to get a smooth tumblehome. The connection between the galleries and the gundecks + tumblehome is the most difficult thing I've ever build so far. Good luck with it!
  18. The new stern design is great with those details. The lanterns are okay, maybe a bit too squarish but they look nice so far. The masts are great, I should try that out myself too. What is slighly bugging me is the straight window on the gallery while the stern is sloped. The last minor point is to try to make the name of the ship under the windows instead of above them, it's more realistic I think. Perhaps you can make a custom fleur de lys symbol above the windows? Succes with the build!
  19. That is sure a large pile of bricks, transformed in a wonderful diorama. The castle and the mill are awesome, I hope you'll be in Zwolle at 25 October so I can see it with my own eyes.
  20. Nice entry you've got there, one of the best so far. The ship is outstanding and the rocks are great as well. Perhaps some crabs or starfish would add more detail to the sand part below. But the low tide idea is pretty similar to my entry, which is almost finished. Good luck at the contest!
  21. It's not necessary to quote the whole post. I see a lot of influences of the RBR in this ship. I like your idea making a Steampunk ship of it. But I don't like the pirate with the crossbow, I should give him a rifle instead. Can you explain what the mechanism does?
  22. This is great, it looks very accurate. The stone technique is great with all those 1x1 round plates. I'm really looking forward to the light effect and the coastline. I'm impressed by your building speed as well.
  23. Thank you a lot Clone Killer to take all those requests, I had a busy time and I'm planning to step back in the decal making process coming days. Again, my compliments for your efforts.
  24. Looks great already! I think I don't have that much feedback to offer after Captain Green Hair told a lot already. I really like the coloursheme, the stern could be more detailed. A lantern would add a lot. And the gundeck with those shiny new cannons looks awesome! Is there an interior in the ship as well? Keep it up!
  25. We should be more careful next time pillaging gnomes. I had a great time chatting with you guys! We sure do that again somewhere in the future. The ship is progressing nicely and till now the icecream technique works well, although it's not complicated at all. I'm curious about who's next to be interviewed!
