  1. Looks like someone has been messing around with our signatures! But honestly though, we don't know anything, honestly. What could it beee, what could it beee....
  2. I see you've been busy again Zcerberus! She looks great now. It's awesome to see the ship in all it's glory. The stern looks better in black indeed, the pearl gold decorations are very nice. Perhaps change the rudder in black, and add brown plates under the bow and stern, so it looks like the copper plates stick above the waterline.
  3. Great topic! Here goes nothing : My real name is Henk de Boer ( a typical Dutch name ) Also born in the Netherlands. An 18 year old Captain is what I am now. Besides LEGO I like various things, especially playing drums and some gaming. I like games like Age of Empires, the Total War series, some pirate games and Oblivion. I also consider beer as one of my favorite drinks. Coffee for me every morning! Travelling is one of the most beautiful things in life, I'm planning to visit places all around the world. I'm studying Coast and Sea management, a four years during education. I have a great time there and it's very interesting. I like Folk and Powermetal, rock, but also classic music. No rap or hardcore for me. I'm proud of my room, which is stashed with LEGO, bricks all around the floor and a large ship in the middle of it, it's a hell to clean my room. Like most members here I'm spending a lot of money and even more time in my LEGO projects. It's a better hobby to spend money on then drinking at the pub every day. Also a great thing to do, though. The religion Protestantism runs my mind for a part. Not much though, but it still does. I'm curious about god's opinion about my life... We have a nice black haired Labrador dog in the house, but he has to keep his teeth away from the bricks! That's all I know, there are much more odd habits and funny things about me, but I'm unable to tell them all.
  4. Was there some bribery involved? Keep the votes coming!
  5. Nice progress Commodore! As the good Admiral Croissant already said you should keep an eye on the width of the hull. The colours are very nice, it looks so familiar to me, but I don't know why. What colours are you going to use on the stern? I'm very curious since I don't see a yellow trim on the ship's hull. Keep it up!
  6. Yups, not a problem at all.
  7. The Great Cannon Race will be frontpaged on Classic-Pirates.com today!
  8. Yups, welcome to Eurobricks! I also think this is one of the best (if not the best) ship on MLCAD I've ever seen. And I think it would be even better if you make it with real bricks in these colours. The coloursheme is great, and so are the shapes. Really good job!
  9. I think it will be even more creative to design stern details yourself instead of using the stained glass piece. It's rather bulky, and personally I just don't like big parts. Your ship has some very nice aspects, like the good Captain Greenhair already said; the figurehead is ingenious. My advise is to keep experimenting with the curved shapes of the ship. The more the better. I wish you all the best on your HMS Phoenix Claus!
  10. That sounds very interesting! Also a nice challenge. I wish you all the best on your ships commodore!
  11. The nice duel will be on the frontpage of Classic-Pirates today!
  12. You're building as a beat on these ships! Really nice progress already! I see lots of bricks are involved in this... Any more hints on the coloursheme? I'm planning to build a black-white striped ship in the future, with dark green and metallic gold trims. I also see you have a gap in the tumblehome for the stairs, but 8 studs wide? I think 2 or 3 studs do a better job. Furthermore I don't have much to say, till now it is just excellent work!
  13. If it was their new weapon, I'd like to see what happens if you shoot 1 bullet through the balloon. I like this creation, the balloon/boat is quite nice. I also like all the action. Nice job!
  14. Please note the Royal Bluecoat Shipyard is working at top speed... And the progress of some ships goes very smoothly... No doubt it will be even more active in the future! :pir-skull:
  15. Penguins? Where do you see penguins? I do see some tropical birds, but penguins...
  16. Your entry will cover the frontpage of Classic-Pirates.com tomorrow!
  17. The Troll Captain will be on the frontpage of Classic-Pirates.com today!
  18. Oh dear! Lots of British ships in progress I see, interesting. And unique as well, I've never seen someone building a fleet of top-notch ships at the same time. I truely hope this fleet will be completed soon. Imagine how a large fleet of such ships looks under full sail. I'm sure I'll follow this topic closely, and I wish you all the best with your project!
  19. Very nice! Great roof technique, and the dinosaurus skull is awesome. But the most favorite part is the big crack in the wall. So realistic! Great job!
  20. That is very nice Infomaniac! I love it. Amazing details, especially the street behind the wall is very realistic. I think the tower is a bit narrow, it looks very fragile. But still, an amazing MOC. Good luck in the contest!
  21. Congratulations guys! Wonderful entries! Have fun with your prizes! Really good job guys!
  22. That is not true! Allright, let's vote! 74louloute - 3 points: Top entry in all ways, the curtains, the floor details and minifig poses. Paul Cantu - 2 points: Great idea, and well executed. The water and building are especially nice. General Armendariz - 1 point: Nice idea, and the cliff is very nice. TinyPiesRUs - 1 point: Looks great in every way, there are some nice details in there. Good luck everyone!
  23. The Coastal Trading Ship will even sail at the frontpage of Classic-Pirates.com today!
