Not really because the damage from poison is assessed at the end of the round, not after the PC's turn(s).

Repeat all.

Hoke notices the battle has taken a toll on Torc. He waves her off as he continues his assualt. Hoke - Repeat Torc - Does nothing, Back Row
-
Hoke continues to wear down the armored guard. Repeat.
-
Hoke ignores the snarky comment from the immature quest mate has Torc hurls him into the air. Repeat.
-
"Guts, Torc could use a potion." Hoke - Flagpole, Henry, Back Row Torc - Repeat

No.

"Did you follow the vampire's orders or are you fighting is on your own free will?" Hoke asks the Bonapartes.
-
Repeat.

So what would the benefit of the classes be if they are heavily penalized? Their attacks are all ether based, so, basically, they have to pay for attacks.
-
I don't like the idea of ether cost & damage being related. It's a penalty on the ether users to do actual damage.

Repeat.

"Mizuki, take on Terrin as well. I will take the hit from that big guy."

"I'm just skeptical now that the Bonapartes are behind taking the Magpie. Yes, we still need to recover the Magpie and crew, but we had a crazy necromancer at the docks where the Magpie was supposed to be, and now we have bewitched Bonaparte soldiers standing in front of us with a vampire. Some are dead and most likely partial eaten. Can't you smell the stench? I just wonder if we have been told the whole story by the lady captain."

Ah! May have to look into those as I *GASP!* never played it. Guess I have been missing out this whole time!

And movement rules, maybe.

Has anyone adopted Sandy's Heroica rules for a live tabletop game? Trying to get one started with some friends.

That was my first thought, but I was wondering if CMP and other QMs use that type thinking that it takes normal damage from Dark/Light weapons.
-
"I use it wisely, just like my brain. Wish I could say the same for you," Hoke quips back.
-
Not immune to it either.
-
Or would it take x2 from the Diamond because Humanoids aren't immune to Light? Technically, Undead is NOT immune to Dark, at least according to the elements rules page.
-
An Undead Humanoid would take normal damage from a weapon imbued with an Amethyst & Diamond?

"I have a feeling the Bonaparte guards will not put up much of a fight after Malkoth is down. Methinks we are not here to fight the Bonepartes, so maybe we should pull our punches when it comes to the guards," Hoke whispers to the group.
-
"Me calm down? Ha! A little strategy probably put us in a better position. Or maybe next time we should just run into the room yelling, screaming and grabbing at everything before we get a sense of what's going on like a pack of inexperienced troglodytes."
