Oh, I know who Hoke IS, but no one else seems too. His back story is all sorts of developed.

Hoke watched Nur consume a Nostrum to no effect. "Nur, is there something preventing the effects of the Nostrum? Mayhaps another concoction you consumed or an artefact you are wearing"

If Zeph will pair Vipera with Hoke, I will do everything in my power to go Dragoon. Not to be an attention grabber, but any suggestions on how I can roleplay Hoke better. He just seems like an afterthought, it thought about at all. I think he is a solid, gimmick-less character, but I guess that isn't cutting it from a roleplaying standpoint.

Hoke seeks to duplicate his strike and hopefully perform a spellspin. Repeat action from Front Row.

Hoke looks at the map and rubs his chin. "I'd suggest the Corn Maze."

"It's a welcome change from what I have faced before." "Hahaha! The offer is much appreciated, but I will decline for now. Save you ether for when we need it. I have a feeling our next few battles will be not much of a challenge."

Hoke approaches Nur. "Would you like something from my pack for that piece of Raw Meat? I'd like a little more energy when defending from and countering enemy attacks."

If only I could get it to work for a Chi Monk...Hmm.....

"Mayhaps it would be best to visit the Corn Maze first and other areas just beyond the entrance. It would be beneficial for Nur and Amma to catch up with those of us with a bit more experience."

Hoke was a little dissapointed about not getting the raw meat. He was the one taking the hits for the party so a little health boost would have been nice. He pocketed the Phoenix Essence with a nod of thanks. "Where to next? Mayhaps we should finish out the greener areas on the map first?"

Hoke had to chuckle at himself. He'd never had so much trouble with a plant before. They appeared to be weak enough now, so he put up his gems and hefted Vintul once again. Vintul, A, Front Row.

Pansy. Also, I would like to see more effects that can relate to elemental damage, like Burning effect if a dragon/fire elemental/etc attacks.

And there should be more enemies that do elemental damage.

Yeah, and you're targeting an enemy with 4 HP. I can counterstike that next round. Why not put a dent in something with a little more health?

"Bwahaha! It would be best if he could speed up the process elsewise we can drop him off on Old Mack Donauld's front porch to sit in a rocking chair and chat about the olden days."
