  1. Hoke sees Namyrra standing in the back with her hands by her side. "Namyrra, surely you can see we could use your help with these remaining enemies."
  2. "That didn't work out quite as planned." huffed Hoke from behind the visor of his helmet. Ruby, Rat C, Back Row.
  3. Exactly what I said!
  4. Well who'd want to look at that?!
  5. If an enemy has dual types that weak to the same element, does that enemy take quadruple damage? For example, the rabbits in Unlimited are Icy/Beast and both types are weak to Fire.
  6. Right before Hoke attacks, he grabs his ruby from his satchel in case he succeeds in performing a spell spin. Still attacking with the sword, but will use a ruby if a 1 is rolled.
  7. "If you attack, take on the first rat (C) as I have the last one covered."
  8. Hope you don't mind my filler/role play bumps JimB!
  9. "Steady my friends! We can claim this victory soon and with greater reward if we use our wits. Leave the last rat and first hodgepodge for me, and Skrall, allow me to attack first unless you have a plan. Do your best to ignore the rabbits for now my friends." As he speaks, Hoke draws Vintul and moves in front of the party. Vintul, Rat D, Front Row, leave Hodgepodge B untargeted.
  10. Hoke notices the dust from the battle has clouded the gem in his hand. He takes a quick breath, blows on it, and rubs it with a cloth from his satchel. Now the gem sparkles like new, and Hoke stares down the giant rat once more. "Skrall, what say you to a brace or honey glazed coneys?"
  11. "Agreed. Let's clear out the rabble before we take on those light footed pests."
  12. My kid won this set at Legofest this weekend, and it's a great army builder set.
  13. "My friends, those rabbts seem quite skittish. Mayhaps it would be best if we saved those for last?"
  14. In Arthur's case I think it's Significance > Fear.
  15. 5$ says Arthur changes sides again!
  16. Hoke retrieves the Opal from his satchel as it is most effective against all but the rabbits. Opal, Big Rat A, Back Row.
  17. Hoke shook his head, kept walking and ate his Chicken Drumstick.
  18. Hoke tossed a Chicken Drumstick to Stigveladi and continued walking towards the Pumpkin Patch.
  19. "Thanks Skrall! The Pumpkin Patch sounds good to me as well. Let's be on our way."
  20. Hoke lifted his visor and winked at the dwarf. "After watching those scarecrows devour those murderous fowls, I wouldn't mind one of those Chicken Drumsticks." Hoke takes of his helmet and rubs his matted hair. It may be time for a trim once they return to the city. He fishes the map out of his satchel and takes a look again. "Let's see. It looks like we could go to either the Pumpkin Patch or Derelict Windmill from here. What do you say Skrall?"
  21. "Good!," Hoke says as he shuts the visor to his helmet.
  22. Quicker in the sense that we wouldn't have to fool with damage and special damage rolls and no counterstrikes. "In the end, you will see," Hoke says as he keeps his stance in front of the party, prepared to defend against the upcoming attacks.
  23. "It would be wiser and quicker if we let the poison and counterstrikes do their work. Why do through all of the trouble of Alexis using her skills if we do not capitalize on them?" Not sure if I am explaining this good enough in character. Your attacks can result in damage and prevents counterstrikes if no free hits are available. If everyone just sits on the back row and does not attack, JimB can just AUTOROLL the poison and counterstrikes WITHOUT having to worry about calculating attacks and damage. Use your head and take it easy on the QM.
