Thanks for the suggestions. I had in mind more of a vehicle-type design, like a ripsaw. Thing is power functions motors are nowhere near fast/powerful enough to make a good ripsaw, and anyway I've already made a simple r/c tracked vehicle. Is there any car/truck design that doesn't require a servo?

Hi everybody! What could I make with two rc-controlled l-motors? Thanks! P.S. Why do I have to press keyboard buttons more than once for eurobricks to recognize it? (Otherwise I get this: hi everybody!whatcouldi ak with worctrlldl-mor?)

I'm so sorry. My deepest condolences. Cherish your memories of them always. This sadness, though hard, will bond your remaining family together harder than ever. Find comfort in the Lord. Psalm 10: Why, O Lord, do You stand far off? Why do You hide Yourself in times of trouble? ... But You, O God, do see trouble and grief; You consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless (vv. 1, 14, NIV).

Hi All I'm not sure how to delete a topic. I thought I couldn't incorporate those two L-motors on my 8043 b-model, but I did (with a 1:1 gear ratio it's really fast). Thanks for all the answers.

Hi! I know that these "I don't know what to build" topics are kind of annoying, but I have no idea how to build an r/c car with functional steering. I want to have it be 2wd. Thanks!

I started (I knew about the compare feature, thanks Theo) and am over halfway through the first instruction book. I have a relatively large collection of old technic already.

I'm wondering if I could do without http://rebrickable.com/parts/87082 http://rebrickable.com/parts/6542 http://rebrickable.com/parts/60484 http://rebrickable.com/parts/64179 Any Ideas? Well, I know I could do without the 64179, because the one I'm missing is used to make the rear grille (whew!). And thanks much bricktrain, you just simpified my whole evening.

So, I compare the two's part lists? I thought of that, but I just want to compare the B-Model's part list. oops, sorry, it is the b-model. Thanks.

Well, the point of this post was to figure it out so I don't ruin my 42006 and fail to make the 8043... Oh, and, by the way, what is this whole 'rank' system? Like, I know when you join you're a vassal, but how do you go up in rank??
-
Yeah, but I heard that the B-model uses way (And I mean way :P) less parts than the excavator.
-
I'm wondering if 42006 has the right parts to build the 8043 B-model. I'm not including the PF and two missing LA's or the bucket in this assessment.

It's fast, but does it have enough torque to get up and over obstacles? -
EDIT: R/C is online! Thanks for your help!

Love it. I just got my 42006 chassis r/c'ed. Your ripsaw is an inspiration. -
Thanks for the answers. I can't wait to RC my excavator.

An order from Lego came in today, and I equipped my 42006 with 8293 and put two L-motors controlling the treads. Remote Control will come later. My question is: If you turn a PF motor manually, will that damage it?
