Hi all, I just made a very very small test-layout to do some testing with the automation software "The Lego Train Project". Please don't hesitate to turn your speakers on, especially when train is running Have a look and enjoy! (2:20 min, (sorry, don't kow how to embed the video here) https://youtu.be/hTbc5HZRg7E Here you'll find software, developer and discussion... https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/169318-control-all-your-powered-up-power-function-sbrick-devices-with-a-single-software/

That is amazing!

Hi, seems to me so. What about your setup, is it possible for you get "black" triggered in any test condition? (which here is just a black tile and the sensor) If not so, in the moment it's a little bit useless to add all these colors to the event-dropbox if they never trigger With my EV3 I often use the RGB-values to define the colors myself. BTW: V.09 shows still 0.8 in the "propetries" menu...

yes, I see, but if it's not importtant for others I will stay with "red", which works fine, as you recommended. As the distance between sensor and object in my case ist always constant that "Partial" might be more important to users. My programm is runnning, so I'll send same pictures maybe tomorrow. Many thanks for your support.

the log ist showing "NONE" or "BLACK", so the color is recognized properly within your program, have a look: HUB NO.4 - Distance: 15 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 1 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 13,5 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 2 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 15 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 1 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 13,5 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 1 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 10,5 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 1 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 6 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 1 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 7,5 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 1 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 15 Color: 255(NONE) -> Partial: 0 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 13,5 Color: 255(NONE) -> Partial: 0 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 7,5 Color: 255(NONE) -> Partial: 0 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 6 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 0 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 4,5 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 1 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 3 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 1 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 1,5 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 1 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 1,5 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 2 HUB NO.4 - Distance: 0 Color: 0(BLACK) -> Partial: 3

Yes, sure. But applications are different. Its a wild flickering of colors., as you say, but I'm absolutely not interested in that and ignore them all, no events for that. Only one single event: BLACK! And this is shown in the log very clear, and even if close to the sensor (2-3mm) and everything is fixed, so nothing moving, it's still"Partial 2" max and doesn't trigger. Yes, and my approch is the complete opposite ;-) Which is not better than yours, but - different Bt this shows the flexibility of your project. Hope I get a small video till wednesday, in the monemt I'm struggeling with the RED/BLACK issue.

Now, as far as I see: fine. But color detection is strange? RED is detected according to Log, triggered at "Partial 6", whatever that means ;-) BLACK is detected, but never reaches more than Partial 1 -and therefore is never triggered? And the colors in the log aren't reflected in GetColor, only obove Partial 6 (Recommended)

Hi, thanks for new Version. Handset and Buttons work. But: Loading a project Turn on Handset Save leads to: ERROR - Could not save file: Der Typ "LegoTrainProject.RemoteHub" in Assembly "LegoTrainProject, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null" ist nicht als serialisierbar gekennzeichnet.

With PF you have 4x8 battery and 4x4 for receiver So you could replace that with two Hubs 4x8, thats not that much more, as the standard modell has a train plate 28 long.
-
Hi, yes, if the CONTROl+ has a size that fits into a train. I doubt, cause in seems to contain 6 AA batteries.
-
Hi. I edited my post meanwhile. "Tiltsensor" is reported be people visiting the fair. Duplo only plays stored sounds. (on EV3 I can load anything to it and play) . Where the space is going to? Perhaps AA batteries for four large motors?
-
Seems that the new Hub has the app. format of a EV3 Brick, and hopfully will use 6 AA Some rumors talk about two integrated moros, but I can't believe. As the Boost-Hub is called "Move Hub" I think it is different. And with all known LEGO applications sound comes from the tablet. And anything other than the PF 2.0 technique would be insane. We'll have to wait..... PS: first is confirmed: - new Hubs - looking like EV3-bricks - no integrated Motors - integrated tilt sensor - Connections like Boost/PoweredUp - Servo-motor

Hi, it's not quite ok....yet Clicking on "EDIT" in a sequence shows code, but code window is always in front.. Clicking on "EDIT" in "sensor event" or click ">" to start a sequence both give an error, seems that there is somthing pointig to your local harddisk? ---------------------------------------------------- System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Der Index war außerhalb des Arraybereichs. bei LegoTrainProject.MainBoard.WriteCodeButton_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) in C:\Users\Cosmik\Dropbox ..........
