Very well made, it looks awesome, and works too :D great job!

I absolutely love this topic, Rrigs! Keep those comparisons coming, and I'll keep watching/reading them!

Now let's go for 1337!

This is my first Technic MOC, I really enjoyed building it :) Lego Technic set 8830 was one of the first Technic sets I got as a kid, and always one of my favourites: So I supersized and modernized it: Here it is stripped of exterior body parts so you can see the Power Functions stuff: Here's a .And finally here's the Brickshelf folder.

Hey this is very cool! That colour scheme reminds me of BP as well, good job on that, makes it look more realistic. I'll bet that car wash looks great next to it, be sure to post some pictures of the two together when you receive it.

Haha this is great :D A DHL Smart is awesome, and this old-school 4wide MOC does it all sorts of justice. Those DHL decals just finish it all off nicely. Good job!
-
That sounds real awesome, I can't wait for that one :) Good luck!

Oh wow, this is great :D Of course it's huge and impressive, but you already know this. I particularly love that little yellow church, the hotel, and the old ship in the harbour. Great job on making an atmospheric coastal scene! :)

Thanks a lot for the comments :D Yep, trial and error, I just tried different lengths of beams for the two sides until it fit, and then took it from there. Just had to make sure the back end would fit with Café Corner Modular Standard buildings.

Be my guest, Hinckley! :D Thanks for the praise, and thanks to all for the great comments :)

Thanks, keetong. The trick is when you look at the floorplan: Upside down:

B-OM-6D Here's a new one, the Mindcorp Building: One of the more expensive buildings in the city was recently taken over by a company named Mindcorp. No more than two weeks after the takeover, Mindcorp already managed to get the building registered with the city as an official landmark under the name The Mindcorp Building. No one really knows what goes on inside the Mindcorp Building, not even Mindcorp's own employees. It seems the building is always full of customers though. (click to enlarge) The shape of the building does allow for two other buildings (following the Café Corner Modular Standard) to be coupled on to the back, so basically two streets can be created in a V-shape. (click to enlarge) And here are some of Mindcorp's employees... Or customers, I really don't have a clue: (click to enlarge) MOCpage for detail photos.

This is really awesome! The technique used for the roof is perfect for this architectural style, and I especially love the peaceful little garden to the side.

Thanks a lot for the replies everyone! :D I have given that a try over here, but I'm not as happy with those as with this new one. Those are older MOCs.

Haha awesome! This is a really great vig :D every detail just works, like the chair with the troll shield. The big troll sliding down the breaking chimney looks really dynamic, I can just see him sliding all the way down :D

Thanks for the replies. Always good to see another Wipeout fan :) If you know the series and still appreciate the MOC that means to me I did a good job. Thanks!

Awesome details on those buildings, Sir von Lego! They look nice and realistic, just the way I like them :)

Review: 6034 Black Monarch's Ghost
Aliencat replied to Nikola Bathory's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This was my very first castle set and I still love it! Reading this review made me all nostalgic. Excellent review and I completely agree. -
I agree! I also like how the mixed old and new gray give it a plated armour look.
-
This is little trip into sci-fi space like stuff for me, I'm usually a townie and castlehead. This is the AG Systems F750+, a high speed anti-gravity racer based on the Wipeout series. Images are links: The ship: The pedestal: MOCpage with detail photos Thanks for viewing :)
-
Thanks a lot for the comments! :) I agree, though I mixed both new and old light and dark gray in this one.

Wonderful Terraced town with castle
Aliencat replied to simonwillems's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks a lot for the comments and compliments guys :) I usually keep them in one piece for as long as possible, and try to build as many MOCs as possible, but sadly there always comes a time when stuff needs to be taken apart for parts. I haven't reached the point where I can financially afford to keep my MOCs intact forever and order more parts for the next one. -
I went for the witch :)
-
Hey thanks a lot for the nice comments! :) Yeah I'm not too familiar with it since all I played was Morrowind, but it's where the Khajit are from right?
