  1. Thanks Hinge bricks and lots of trying and re-trying until it fits ;)
  2. Thanks for the welcome everyone :) I'll be sure to stick around here, there's some interesting MOCs and reviews on here.
  3. Yep, thanks for the suggestion, I agree this does look better proportioned.
  4. Alright here's the new smaller one. Same chassis, still works the same way. The engine and steering still fit in. The truck itself is just smaller, like Ralph_S suggested: Brickshelf folder
  5. You're right, Ralph_S, it does look too big for its wheels. Since these are the biggest wheels I have I will try to make the truck smaller. I think I can make it smaller and still keep the engine and steering and all that, I'm going to try.
  6. Is this where you post Model Team stuff on these boards? I'm kind of new here and couldn't find where better to post it among the other themes listed above this one... I suppose Model Team was succeeded by Creator so it should go here... Hmm... Well anyway here's my new Monster Truck. It's a little trip for me to Model Team and Technic since I'm normally a huge Town and Castle fan :) The front suspension stays parallel to the chassis because of the double liftarms, so the shock absorbers can do their work and the steering, handling or maneuverability won't suffer from it. The workings of the steering itself is very simple: The rear axle is connected to the engine, also via quite a simple and straight-forward system. The shocks are just stiff enough to keep the model upright, so when it drives around it bounces all over the place like a proper Monster Truck :D
  7. Awesome! I love all the details and the atmosphere. Very nice work!
  8. Thanks for the comments :) The Star Wars stuff is all HJR's, I shared a table with him, but the Star Wars MOCs aren't mine. The AT-AT with the big cannon is my favourite as well :) (and Quarryman: that building is empty)
  9. I love frogs! For breakfast!
  10. Nope, that's a dwarf ;) That's because I'm very new to Brickshelf so I don't really know how this keyword stuff works. Edit: here's some pictures of the Lowlug meeting, where this one was also on display. Also check out all the other creations there, the standards were really high once again. Especially some of the robotics guys had some impressive stuff that you unfortunately can't really see on photos 'cause you can't see "what they do". 11. Heya! It seems I was already spotted here at Eurobricks so I figured I would register. I see a lot of familiar names here from Classic-Castle and Lowlug, so hey guys! And to those who don't know me, I'm Aliencat and I'm an addict.
  12. Thanks for spotting this simonwillems. Alright then True, it seems you know me from Lowlug, what's your name there? This castle-town combination MOC was also on display at the Lowlug meeting today, I don't know if you were there? It'll also be displayed at Legoworld in Zwolle in october. Aha, you're both wrong ;) who can spot the third Fabuland fig? Too heavy probably but it comes apart into modules for transport. Who says you can't? Just think about me before you go to sleep and here I am :)
