Avalanche nodded to Arasmyth. "We're just waiting for Heckz then." He noticed the black-helmeted guard to the right of the lieutenant. "Greetings. I am Avalanche. Could you perhaps tell me whether or not you found out the cause of the burning odour?"

Avalanche hurries up to the gates, hoping he isn't late. He sees only Purpearl there before him and gives a small sigh of relief. Turning to Lieutenant Paolo, he dips his head in greeting. "Pleased to meet you. I am Avalanche." He offers his paw to the Lieutenant, remembering the human custom of shaking hands. Hearing Purpearl's comment, he ponders for a moment, then agrees with her. "I agree. Arasmyth should lead us." He looks around, hoping to see something that could give him a clue as to what happened to the poor guards. OOC: I may not be very active from Monday to Friday (but may be on in the evenings),but I'll be active at weekends. And my stats need editing- could you please add a Venom to my inventory and take away 3 gold? I bought it in the Hall today.

Avalanche looked up at the quest board, pleased. He scratched out his name from the Quest#85 list, then headed off to the Hinckwell Villa.

Avalanche growled angrily at the insult, but took the venom anyway. He glared at Pretzel and declined the offer. "No thanks."

Avalanche saw Pretzel's notice on the board. He looked around for the monk, 3 gold in his paw. He wanted to buy the Venom.

Avalanche imagines the result and smiles to himself.

Avalanche smiled ruefully. "I agree. However, just because it's sandy doens't mean it's very hot..." He grinned at Benji. "Come on, put it on!"

Avalanche shook Tarn's hand vigourously, his massive paw dwarfing the raider's hand. "I see you've signed up for Quest 85 too. What do you think it will be like- if the two of us get picked?"

"Pleased to meet you," replied Avalanche, "I see you've signed up for Quest #83 too. I wonder whether we'll get chosen...How many quests have you been on?"

Avalanche joined the three heroes. "Hi. I'm Avalanche- I'm new around here."

Berelan Gryffen once again pledges his loyalty to the Northern Guild! Short Bio: Berelan was born in the village of Daledir, in Avalonia. He grew up there and enlisted into the Avalonian army. Avalanche returns to the Hall, pleased with his purchase. He glances at the quest board- no, the notices are still up. He hopes to be chosen for one of the quests.

Avalanche hurries into the marketplace, in need of equipment for future quests despite his low amount of gold. He stopped by Petra's stall and at once saw some smoke bombs in the pile of items. He said quietly, "How much would one of them be?". Petra replied, "That'll be 5 gold coins." Avalanche smiled and purchased the smoke bomb, leaving him with only 5 gold left.

I got a scarecrow today; I have a tiki, a barbarian, a yeti and an evil mech as well. The Yeti is definitely my favourite and the Evil Mech my least favourite. The scarecrow was so hard to find...

Avalanche also signs his name under the growing list of names for Quest #85.

Rather nervously, Avalanche signed his name under the lengthy list for Quest #83: Four's Company. He wondered if he'd be accepted due to his extremely low level

Avalanche once again returned to his spot near the wall. Nobody wanted to talk to him or noticed him at all. He took a swig of ale, the alcoholic drink staining his chest fur brown. He listened for a conversation to join.

Avalanche sees Em sit down next to him. He studies the ranger carefully, not wanting to speak unless he was spoken to.

Uninterested by the general conversation, Avalanche joined Althior by the bar. He ordered some ale and then peered over Althior's shoulder. "An interesting bottle you've got there."

Avalanche remained quiet, listening to the conversation while sharpening Earthshaker's edge with a broken bear claw.
