    "It's all...so colourful and busy..." muses Avalanche, "Back in the mountains, there was just snow- and rocks- and yetis..." He trails off, lost in thought. Shaking his head, he returns to the present, "Yeah, I'm glad we've actually got somewhere on this quest. I was worried that we wouldn't be able to find anything at all."

    Avalanche yelps and rubs his foot on the ground to ease the pain. At least I proved that the liquid is flammable, he says to himself. He says confidently, "I am Ready to leave." OOC: Do we bring the evidence along with us?

    I also was...unavoidably detained. I was captured by bounty hunters on Nar Eurbrikka and currently reside in a cell. Hopefully I will be able to free myself shortly (free build soon to come)

    "That's a good thesis!" Avalanche congratulates Purpearl, "Although I didn't suspect Abigail initially. I think that has a good chance of being the correct answer." He pauses for a minute, "Well, there's only one way to find out, and you don't need to waste ether casting spells." He picks up the small bottle of liquid that he had found and pours a small amount on the floor, leaving the rest in the bottle for evidence. Pulling a flaming torch from its bracket on the wall, the yeti touches the flame to the pool of liquid.

    "Well go on, investigate my fur! You won't find anything!" challenges Avalanche.

    Avalanche nudges Heckz. "You have the Remedy. Use it on her!" He then pads into the storeroom, looking around for clues. He investigates the rotting floorboards and then peers at all the walls.

    I've finished and photographed my phase 1 and 2 barracks builds, but I haven't found the time to upload them. Unfortunately, both have been scrapped for parts for future MOCs. My phase 1 is kinda like a cage fight but with soldiers, and phase 2 is smaller but more detailed than bkrosell's.

    Avalanche refrains from smashing the bottle but is shocked when he sees Purpearl drink from it. He sighs in relief when nothing immediate happens. He investigates the sword found in Marcus Sassina's hands and then investigates the documents in the back room.

    Avalanche replied to Arasmyth, "I had that idea at the beginning, but it seems unlikely that he'd burn and then hang himself. It could be that he had an accomplice- a sorcerer- who killed him to leave no witnesses after they had drugged and then finished off the others." He then heard Heckz's comment. "The stuff is full of darned sleeping drugs!" he yelled furiously. "I'm not drinking that!" He forgot that Heckz had a Remedy.

    Avalanche peers at the cork. Hmm...seems like the sleeping drug was applied to the cups themselves rather than the original bottle of wine. Avalanche shifts Conner Strong's limp corpse and checks the body and the area around it. OOC: Can you keep Murky Pearls and add them to your inventory? If so, what use are they?

    Avalanche lifted the table in the front room up and looked underneath it. He then investigated Rick Richards' corpse and peered into the chest behind the dead body. OOC: I'm English, so it's 7 am for me right now. That's why I haven't been active in the last few hours!

    Avalanche shudders at the thought. He sniffs the food and checks it again.

    I'm not really sure what Avalanche is like as a character yet, since I've only just started roleplaying him. Any tips on how to create a believable and realistic character? (I've already looked at the Theatre). What I do know about Avalanche so far: he's pretty young for a yeti and enthusiastic about his first quest; as a yeti, he's going to get uneasiness and disdain from fellow quest members and he takes offence easily at unthoughtful or rude comments. I'm not sure how he'd handle a fight though...but I'm soon going to find out!

    Avalanche gazes around in horror. He says to himself, "It seems as if the three guards were given a sleeping agent and then finished off quickly while in their sleep. Besides, I thought that one of the men was burned to death?" Still perplexed, he checks the food on the table and then sniffs it, hoping to find traces of the sleeping agent in the meal.

    Fuming, Avalanche turned his back on the mage and joined Purpearl and Lieutenant Paolo waiting to enter the gatehouse. OOC: I just realised that Avalanche is the only hero who cannot cast spells here. Everyone else is a mage/evoker.

    I wish I was allowed into the Hall despite being on a quest, just so Avalanche could make some comments about Lady Benji! After all, he only transformed because Tarn and I suggested it...

    "Why did I come to Heroica? For the same reason as you, probably- seeking adventure and bored of a simple life! And you can comb through every inch of my fur and I challenge you to find a single louse there!" shouted Avalanche angrily.

    "I have no more questions either," replied Avalanche. He saw Heckz looking at him oddly and realised what he was doing. "For your information, no, I don't have lice. What do you think I am, a feral troll? Just because I look like an animal doesn't mean I am one!"

    Avalanche smiled back at the lieutenant, liking his friendly manner. He was finished asking questions and ready to go inside. Just then, he heard Falner Drunderm's comment. He ambled over to the dwarf and asked one final question, "You said traces of a sleeping agent were found in three of the four bodies. Was the unaffected body by any chance the one who was burnt to death, and was it that of the highest-ranked man?"

    Avalanche had an idea. "Captain Dolen, is it possible that something like a poison gas was in the gatehouse and the guards choked to death? That would explain the locked door- one of the victims could have accidentally triggered something... Or- could one of the victims actually have been the culprit and accidentally died after killing his peers? Just guessing here."
