Heroica RPG - Quest#87: The Marketplace Mystery
Dragonfire replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
Avalanche peers at the photgraph, "I can see a blue gem in the cauldron to the left and a yellow one inside the crystal ball on the table. Oh, and what is that hen doing there again?" He then hears Elphaba's comment, "I knew I saw the Copper Fox! And that gingerbread man is probably one of the gang as well! I won't condemn the bunny suit lady yet because we haven't found significant evidence yet." OOC: I can also see the orange, green, clear and dark blue gems, but I'll leave those for you guys to find...- 327 replies

OOC: I'd like to see Heckz try to kill Avalanche. Avalanche would crush him! But Elphaba, Anwyl, Pretzel etc might not be so lucky if a crazy Heckz attacks them with his dagger-claw thingy (Sorry, I don't know what that weapon is). And yeah, I know about Heckz's thoughts...- 327 replies

I was actually planning something along the lines of a crow- an eagle perhaps- but I'm going to follow Scubacarrot's advice and wait for the opportunity to be presented to me...
-
That's what I'm going to do. It would make no sense for an animal to randomly appear and become Avalanche's companion.
-
As for the animal companion, if I get one, it won't speak- so it won't be like split personalities or anything...

OOC: Avalanche is a yeti. The punch didn't hurt him very much because humans are extremely weak compared to yetis- that's why he only threw Heckz to the ground. If Heckz had got punched in the face, it would've hurt a lot more. And it would spoil his beauty...so I can see why you said it.- 327 replies

I have an animal companion planned for Avalanche if he gets on a Baltarok quest...

Growling, Avalanche grabs Heckz and throws him over his head onto the ground, "That was a joke, you oaf! I didn't call you ugly! You sure have problems..." He is glad that his fur doesn't show the small bruise on the left side of his face.- 327 replies

But Donny Dozenhands is dead...Avalanche has already faced one fake Donny; I sincerely hope there won't be another...

"Imagine you were her, Heckz- step into her shoes," says Avalanche, "Try being ugly yourself before you run someone down." He replies to Thalion, "In case we forget, I think Pretzel should write it down in his Leads notebook. And I agree, we should head to Elphaba's and finish this case."- 327 replies

Avalanche's eyes narrow, "I can see a demon wearing the bumblebee suit that went missing! And a gingerbread man! Besides, there's a werehen in the corner with a few other strange people- and they're talking quietly and one has a gold ring- I think we've found our villains. Wait- one of them looks like Donny Dozenhands and the other like the Copper Fox!" "Besides, I recognise some of those people from the NPC index portraits in the Library. There's Lyren Hinckwell, Umbra and Nuitan Shadeaux, Ella, Lt. Serevan, and a couple of other familiar faces- a goblin regulator, a female orc and many others. We can rule them out immediately."- 327 replies

"The final tally? Oh- 9 hammers, 15 wrenches, 8 pickaxes, 20 shovels, 10 crowbars, 7 magnifying glasses, 4 brooms and 2 strange brown tiles- but I'm not sure whether they are actually tools..." answers Avalanche.- 327 replies

"Umm...there are eight pickaxes and four brooms. And I count nine hammers as well. There are two brown tiles on the table- are they tools? That honeypot sure looks suspicious. It can't be a coincidence- we saw it at Portia's as well and then we saw a bumblebee costume at Fabian's...maybe they're connected..." contributes Avalanche. OOC: Curse my timezone! I just woke up- 327 replies

"May we please see pictures of your shop?" asks Avalanche. He smiles at Sorrow's comment, "Maybe Heckz will find himself some eternal youth potion. I bet he'd pay all his gold for it..."- 327 replies
