So what do you think would happen if Disney bought the rights to Marvel? Oh wait, that did happen. Well what if they bought the rights to Star Wars? Oh yeah, that happened too. So I guess the only possible outcome would be… Star Wars vs. Marvel: Disney Showdown! While the Star Wars and Marvel universes exist independently of each other, their fans do not! This is your chance to show, in Lego form, what would happen if Marvel and Star Wars met. This encounter can happen within the Marvel universe or on any of the Star Wars planets. You are not required to come up with any kind of explanation as to why these two universes have collided. Just have fun with the possibilities! Category A – Conflict: Show what would happen if the good guys and villains of Marvel and Star Wars met. This build should be all about the conflict, so make it fierce! This build should also be clearly about good guys vs. bad guys. You can have one good guy vs. one bad guy, one character vs. a group, or two groups facing off against each other. You should choose either Star Wars or Marvel characters for the good guys, and then the opposite universe for the bad guys. For example, you can show Luke Skywalker facing down an army of Hydra agents, or the Fantastic Four fighting Darth Vader; but you can’t have the Jedi Council teaming up with the Avengers to fight the Sinister Six. Teamwork builds should be reserved for Cat. B. Size limit is 64x64. Category B – Teamwork: Show what would happen if the good guys or the villains of Marvel and Star Wars teamed up. The focus of this build should about the teamwork between good guys from Star Wars and Marvel or the bad guys. You can include this alliance working against one foe, but the focus of the build should be about how the two groups work together. For example, you can show how Spiderman and Daredevil would get along with Qui-gon and Obi-wan and show them taking down Kingpin, but the emphasis of the build should be them working together. Or you could show how Count Dooku and Modok would work together and you could having them torturing Anakin Skywalker, but you shouldn’t have them taking on the entire clone army. You could also just show stressed the team work would be such as if Red Skull, Doctor Doom, and Modok tried to team up with Bossk, Boba Fett, and Dengar. Size limit is 64x64. Rules One entry per member and per category. You can enter all categories with different entries, but you'll be eligible to receive only one prize. The size restrictions for both categories is 64x64 studs. The contest will run from 1st June to 1st July, 2015. As long as it's still July 1st somewhere in the world, you can still enter. Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified. This contest is open to all EB members, even if they joined EB after the contest has begun, with the exception of the Star Wars and Licensed staff, who are not eligible to win prizes. All entries must be new creations, not posted anywhere else prior to being entered in the contest. You may be asked by a staff member to change your entry if it is too similar to an earlier creation. All entries must be built from real LEGO. No clone brands, no third-party custom parts. Digital entries will be allowed. All digital entries must use only existing pieces in existing colors. All entries must be posted as a new topic in the Watto’s Junkyard forum, the title prefixed by, "[sWvsM] – category - entry name". (For example, "[sWvsM] – Cat. A – Hulk Smashing the Imperials".) A link must also be included in this thread for your entry to count. Post pictures no larger than 800x640, but you may link to bigger pictures. You may do a 'full-blown photo edit' with all the text, effects, background compositing, support erasing, and other effects on one picture. All your other pictures may have no editing other than color adjustment or background removal for a solid-color background. For obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but actual color) of a LEGO piece is prohibited. It is also prohibited to use the Lego logo in any picture. All entries are considered WIPs (Works In Progress) until the deadline passes. Until the deadline has passed, you are allowed to change and improve your MOC. For each category, EB staff will make a first selection, and then EB members will vote for their favorite entry among that selection. Prizes First place in Cat. A will win 75052 Mos Eisley Cantina First place in Cat. B will win 76032 The Avengers Quinjet City Chase Other Please post all questions and entries in the Star Wars forum version of this post.

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
MKJoshA replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
New freebuild: And a beacon: -
While Wyndor was busy in Treacleheim, the mayor of Dalig Ulv sent word to his men on the mountain that a terrible evil known as the Algus had been seen near Dalig Ulv and that they needed to light the warning beacon. They lit the beacon and hoped that word would get to the rest of the guild in time to warn them of the coming danger. The next beacon...

With this spell we will wake them up with the knowledge of what has happened and the fact that we were the ones who freed them. That will convince them we are here to help them and will keep us from getting killed in some nasty ways. These aren’t creatures to talk things over first.” With that she turned her back and Leif and she and her sisters formed a ring around the Triad and started chanting. Leif, inpatient with it all and anxious to see all his hard work of giving away the dwarves secrets turn into power for himself didn’t notice three men rushing into the room until they were moving past him. Wyndor was about to cut off Edea’s head when Vincent yelled, “Wait! If you do that now with the spell unfinished, we could all die!” Wyndor halted in mid swing and brought his blade to a halt. Just then the chanting stopped and the three lifeless figures in the middle of the room started to stir. Edea and her sisters returned to normal and saw the intruders among them. Wyndor’s blade was at Edea’s neck, Mattimeo had a firm hold on Leif and Vincent was poised, watching the Triad. “No one move!” said Vincent. “They haven’t been fully released yet!” “Don’t even think about it Edea,” said Wyndor. “One false move from you or your sisters and you’ll pay the price.” Edea just laughed at him, “You think we didn’t prepare for this possibility? Now sisters!” Moving faster than Wyndor could see, Edea was outside his reach and within the circle. The Triad was most certainly awake and Edea’s sisters were summoning energy to attack them with. Wyndor and his friends looked like they were outnumbered and doomed when the Blue Wolves began to rush into the chamber! The fight grew fierce and bodies were flying about the room. Wyndor saw Valanice, Natolyth, Chalin and Liam join the fray. One of Edea’s sisters was the first to fall. Then the werewolf. Then Edea’s other sister. Then the vampire. Then the warlock. Then only Edea was left. “It’s over Edea!” said Wyndor. “We’ve beaten you!” “No!” she screamed. “This can’t be possible! The Triad should never have fallen to a group of weaklings!” “Looks like Dalig Ulv isn’t so weak after all,” said Mattimeo. “Unified, we have stood against this evil, and we have shown you that it can’t triumph here.” “I’ll never let you get out alive!” Edea screamed and then fire erupted all around her. Natolyth reacted the fastest, casting a spell that cut through Edea’s defense and felled her. The firestorm over, in the silence that ensued Vincent’s twang of his crossbow sounded ten times as loud as normal. The group turned to see Leif, a knife in hand and a bolt in his guts. The Blue Wolf he was about to attack dragged him out of the shadows. His life was quickly draining out of his body so Wyndor knew he didn’t have much time. “You, you were the one who was giving Edea the dwarves secrets!” accused Wyndor. “*cough* *cough* Yes, I befriended Rothgar and got him to trust me” Leif managed to get out around the blood. “But why?” asked Wyndor. “You haven’t tasted enough power yet Wyndor” he spat out. “Being a mere member of a city council is no kind of place for a man with my talents. I was meant to rule Mitgardia. The Triad and Edea could give me that power.” “I feel sorry for you” was all Wyndor could say. Leif looked at Wyndor with hatred in his eyes. “If it weren’t for you, and your sense of righteousness, I could have gotten what I deserved.” Then his eyes rolled back into his head. “I think you just did” said Liam. “He was the true monster here” said Vincent. “The rest of these creatures are foul, but he knew the people he was going to sacrifice, made friends with them, lived with them, and still he was willing to give them up for his own gain. My work here is done.” There seemed to be nothing left that needed to be said so Wyndor led the group out of the chamber. Treacleheim was cleansed.

Another garden battle!

Your interior is superb, well countered!

Petraea, golden jewel of the southern guild, and home to some of the most impressive gardens in the guilds. With the civil war coming to an end, all three factions found themselves facing off against each other. This part of the gardens was where Petraea portrayed the different agricultural differences from across the guilds. It housed some of the only man-eating pumpkins seen outside of Nocturnus. When the battle started, a music grinder and his monkey were caught up in the action. They fled as soon as possible, leaving the fighting to the soldiers. The troops from Ulandus had taken this part of the gardens first. But the forces from the High Council and the Desert King's men were coming at them from both directions, catching them in-between. The Desert King mummies thought they were out-numbered and didn't expect to get out of the battle alive, but then Charlemagne showed up on a wyvern of all things! He had been off in Ulandus and hadn't been seen for some time. But he showed up just in the nick of time to turn the tide of the battle in the Desert King's favor.

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. You are correct that it appears in those two books, but neither are set during the correctly time. The Crawler only appears in the approved time period in comics. Sorry.
