  2. OOC: Thanks! Appreciate it. I also noticed that I should have my Frost Helm equipped, so my SP should be at 56 instead of 50
  3. OOC: Boomingham can one-shot the Saber; leave it to him. I also hate to nitpick, but the Saber says it ignores SP on rolls of damage, not free hits; I would've changed the targeting around if I had known that. It's my fault for not asking for clarification, but it'd be nice if you put that in for next time. Thanks! Battle Order: Mortimer VS The Regret with Blazing Bow from Back Row Boomingham Johon VS Tail with Muckracker from Back Row? Johon Jeaux Karie Punii VS Spine with Tiny Tail from Back Row Erdathcath Erdathcath Alice Heals Em unless Roots of Life is rolled, in which case she hits the Spine with Ivory Hammer from Back Row Hexed Masson VS Claw of Despair Left with Darksteel Zandatsu from Back Row if Roots of Life is rolled
  4. Mortimer signs up, buying a Shark's Hand. (314 - 200 = 114)
  5. Jeaux hits the claw that Erdy doesn't and Johon hits the tail.
  6. Current Quest 121 Sign-ups: Dyric Rone, Level 28 Assassin (The Legonator) Matthias, Level 16 Druid (StickFig) Alexandre le Chevalier, Level 30 Skirmisher (Capt.JohnPaul) Leofwein Twynam, Level 4 Barbarian (Capt.JohnPaul) Guts Holla, Level 33 Alchemist (Scubacarrot) Kiray Nastayo, Level 11.5 Knight (KingoftheZempk) Purpearl Berthadhiell, Level 17 Mystic Knight (Purpearljellyblob)
  7. Mortimer barks orders as he draws his bow to its breaking point. "You're lucky; hit the tail if you think you can manage, along with one of his claws. If you don't want to hit the tail, nail both claws. Boomingham can destroy the Regret's Sabers. Jeaux can take the other claw, unless you decide to hit both. Karie can support us for now, while Johon his the priority targets hard. The tail might be a good choice."
  8. Or did we use that in the Oculoid factory?
  9. I, myself, also have my eye on Ethereal 9. That's a nice looking shield.
  10. He mentioned it in one of his other posts in the topic. I'll find it for you:
  11. Mortimer draws back his bow as far as he can, getting ready to fire his flaming arrow. "Know, at least, that your power moved me," he mutters. OOC: when you post stats, please subtract 300 gold from my account because I spent it on Decamon. Thanks!
  12. Quivering slightly, Mortimer steels himself for the battle ahead, drawing back his bow and readying his shield. "Let's finish this," he states simply, wanting nothing more than to see this crusade end.
  13. Mortimer downs a Nostrum, Mead, and Ambrosia before placing his Frost Helm on his head, equipping it. "Aye. Let us press on."
  14. "A sentiment I agree with," Mortimer mutters.
  15. "I'll kill him if he shows up again," Mortimer states. "The Regret will spell his own demise. I imagine we'll just need to get our hands on that strange scroll-- end his miserable life with it."
  16. "I've no doubt his twisted mind wants us to face him at our best," Mortimer mutters. "If you feel healing is a better option, then we can heal."
  17. Loot division (let me know if you think it should be revised/etc) : Boomingham: Oculoid Miasma, Oculoid Firework, 35 Gold Karie: Oculoid Miasma, Silver Ore Jeaux: Oculoid Miasma, Oculoid firework, 35 Gold Em: Bright Polish Erdathcath: Oculoid Miasma, 50 Gold Johon: Steel Core Mortimer grits his teeth, bow aimed--taut-- at where Seerus once sat. He stands there silent for a while before sighing. "Shall we rest before we bring this all to an end?"

  19. "This is our chance! Everyone, target the heart!" Mortimer calls, drawing back his bow and letting loose a flaming arrow towards his target. Yeah, autorun the next few rounds with us targeting the heart.

  21. Just a heads up that we're expecting ~60 centimeters of snow within the next 24 hours, which means I may lose power for an indefinite amount of time and be inactive as a result. Shouldn't, but you never know.
  22. "Tossing the pumpkin bomb seems our best option," Mortimer agrees. Battle Order C: (If the invisibility cloak will work to hide Masson and allow him to strike the heart) Mortimer VS Right Hand with Blazing Bow from Back Row. Boomingham Johon VS Phalanx Spear with Muckracker from Back Row Jeaux swaps the Bravado Boots for his Spellbound Gloves in Back Row Punii VS Monolith Mk II heart with Tiny Tail from Back Row. Alice gives Masson invisibility cloak from Back Row Masson receives invisibility cloak from Back Row Erdathcath Erdathcath Karie throws Pumpkin Bomb from Back Row
  23. I'm probably going to scrap Mortimer Mahzan pretty soon; I didn't have a plan at first, and then I kind of just... lost sight of the character along the way. About halfway through I had a plan and stuff laid out for him, but I ended up unable to keep to it and I think I've lost the character. I'm getting a little bored of him (bored's not really the right word. I feel as though I've exhausted the character. Idk. You feel me?), and I've plans for another character (who will be introduced as an npc in my next quest) that will hopefully be a lot more interesting to not only play as, but to interact with.
  24. Battle Orders A and B: Mortimer uses a Smoke Bomb on the Monoloids, hopefully rendering them unable to see. Masson thus pierces the Monolith Mk II's heart with the Heartbreaker If the round ends after that, the rest of the Battle Order doesn't matter, but if we can still get our hits in: Boomingham Johon Karie Jeaux Punii VS Monolith Mk II heart with Tiny Tail from Back Row. Alice VS Monolith Mk II heart with Ivory Hammer from Back Row Erdathcath Erdathcath ________________________________________________________________________________ IF we need to hit each Monoloid with a Smoke Bomb: Mortimer uses a smoke bomb on Monoloid A Punii uses a smoke bomb on Monoloid B Erdathcath uses a smoke bomb on Monoloid C Masson thus pierces the Monolith Mk II's heart with the Heartbreaker If the round ends after that, the rest of the Battle Order doesn't matter, but if we can still get our hits in: Boomingham Johon Karie Jeaux Alice VS Monolith Mk II heart with Ivory Hammer Erdathcath _________________________________________________________________________________ OOC: If neither of those strategies work, it's back to the drawing board, I suppose
  25. The warden coughs, clearing his throat. "I've merely seen the folly in wasting my breath on worms."
