  1. Or the site took them down because they were fake or badly sourced or something. I'm not dismissing their authenticity entirely, but seriously people seem to take anything as proof of leaks being real.
  2. Well there was already Reidak/Pridak/Radiak.
  3. I can see the headlines now. LEGO Group encourages preteen drug abuse with new Joker figure!
  4. Ha ha ha ha. Heh heh. Good one.
  5. And if they weren't "too lazy" to do that you'd have called it a Megabloks piece like the heads.
  6. I don't think the B2s will make the limbs any more flexible, or if they do it'll be a negligible amount. They look like they're meant to hold the connected socket firmly in place. They're probably just extenders. e: yeah what he said
  7. I'm going to echo most people in this topic and say these look sorta goofy but the parts open up some possibilities.
  8. I think that's what I was trying to say. It's a claw piece that replaces one of his hands rather than slipping over it like the claws on the crab guy from Atlantis. Can be seen here and here.
  9. Pretty nice ship. I like the way the sails look. Not sure how I feel about Davy's claw being attached like a normal hand, which it looks like it does.
  10. If so then I'm going to be annoyed because come on there was just a guy named Fire Lord and you skip him? >:I
  11. Rocka XL comes with two of the black claw/shield pieces, too. Also I am happy that LEGO decided not to ditch the bear motif. I can say "Jimi the Pooh" and it'll work.
  12. I like that HF isn't as serious as BIONICLE. Not everything needs to be all grimdark all the time.
  13. Not entirely sure how I feel about Rocka's eyes being the lion's eyes vs. the mouth frames his whole face. I think the mouthface looks cooler, but the correlating eyes are more consistent with the other heroes. Hm.
  14. I don't have any, but from looking at the pictures I don't think they can. The hero heads have the forehead that sticks up in front of the rod holes, so rods that are on a flat surface like on the villain heads wouldn't be able to reach them.
  15. Yeah I know, trans would look weird, I was talking about the possibility in general since Front mentioned the preference for spikes.
  16. It's been done before, so it could probably be done again. It would look great on a larger hero set, especially one that had a large gun or something that it held.
  17. Compared to Nex 2.0, I actually think this set looks a bit "meh". I think it might be that the secondary color changed from white to silver. As shiny and non-pearly as it is, it looks rather dull.
  18. Like with RXL, my opinion of him remains the same, which is I want him. I am still very happy that he has the four black B10 hands. Head looks awkward but that's a trait shored by anyone with that setup. Endoskeleton, I think. Exo would be the shell.
  19. Maybe they're emptying stock. Aaand my opinion of this set remains pretty much the same. Good set, wonderful parts, lots of unnecessary details that clutter it up but are made of delicious new/useful pieces that can be removed easily. Totally still on the want list.
  20. The original announcement said it would be an hour, but I think they ran into some trouble with it or something so it got cut to half an hour.
  21. I thought Rocka was his last name…? "Skrall is a she" is a minor meme that originated back in '08 when we were discussing the first Glatorian pictures. Random speculation that became an in-joke. Also, having an hour-long special doesn't necessarily mean it's ending. RotR was two hours, and OoF was going to be one hour.
  22. It's been mentioned before. Quite a while ago, really.
  23. What would they be redesigning it from, though? Unless the focus groups suddenly changed their mind after it was prototyped, it's probably going to look the same or almost the same. Also, I'm pretty sure the BP image is new, because if it was originally in the retailer catalogues with the other POTC sets the picture would've been all over the internet already. Or am I misinterpreting what you're saying? That's not cynical, that's realistic. Having two $100+ ships out at the same time would more likely than not divide the sales between them, whereas releasing them half a year apart lets people forget they spent that much money before. LEGO is a really cool company that does a lot of nice things, but they still need to make a profit. It's just good business.
  24. This is what I was talking about. Heightened expectations. It's the main problem here. You can't expect them to change a set this late in the game, especially based on the whims of a handful of people posting on the internet. Even if it isn't coming out for a few months, parts have to be molded, boxes and manuals have to be designed and printed, and sets have to be shipped around the world. I'm guessing that process takes more than just a few months. So I doubt it'll be getting any major detail added between now and then.
  25. You're right about how there seems to be fewer details, but the image doesn't give a good indication of what the deck (or lack thereof, I suppose) looks like, what the wheel area looks like, or what the inside of the cabin looks like. Really all it is is a side shot, and a blurry one at that. Plus the QAR had all the bone railings and stuff that definitely wouldn't fit the Pearl.
