That flash head could work for Captain Britain, you could do something similar to my kid briton but use that head.

Hey Eurobrickers, lately I've been really into creating original characters using the pantheon of minifig parts. As much as I enjoy building larger MOCs working with bricks and such, this minifig stuff is much more suited to a busy AFOL's lifestyle. I dont actually think its racist, I was just fighting that weenbag. I think its totally cool that you guys use fleshies. I was just responding to someone who clearly had it out for me. My thing is that yellow does not mean caucasian and in my universe of creations, I use yellow for white and people of color. See my Misty Knight a few pages back. I actually plan to do a Storm real soon, and you bet your sweet megablock that she will be yellow skinned. I did an old style Arcade a while ago, not sure if I posted. I cant bring myself to spend the $5 for that double stack torso you used, so I used the same rig I made for Man-Spider.

Yo LuxorV, if you look back I literally said a Mod was going to say something and to stop. Honestly though, get that guy outta here, I'm tired being told I'm discriminatory. That's from the older Miners series, the one before Power Miners.

I think it was cowardly to make fleshy minifigs. they were intended to be yellow because they could represent any race. When it came down to it, I think they were too chicken to make Lando yellow and that started the fleshy trend. So yeah I am against it, but for the reason that it kind of destroys one of the things that makes lego great. Before IP sets and fleshy parts, no one complained about a lack of diversity in lego, because it was a moot point. That being said, I'm not offended I just think you need to watch the "R" word nah mean? Lets not keep talking about this though, dont want a mod to tell us it don't belong here (as Im sure it doesnt), plus it's just too heavy a topic, when it comes down to it, I chose yellow, its just a preference and it makes my creations unique from the others on this thread.

dont opent this can of worms with me, I won't take being called racist lightly whatsoever. Having them be flesh colored is what's racist. It was better when race was ambiguous. edit: Even if it's just toy-racist, you don't just say that to someone, you don't even know what race I am.

Oh I'm staying yellow. I'm just old school, I always felt uneasy about fleshy Minifigs. I see the appeal of having them fit in with the official superheroes sets, but id rather they fit in with city and the rest of lego.

Oh I forgot DC, kinda stopped with the New 52. Currently I read only Action Comics, but only as of like a few issues ago, the new writer is very good.

To produce pieces with printing and enough structural integrity (at an affordable price) seems way way way off. I personally don't want or need a mini lego factory in my home. We have a 3D printer where I work, not a super awesome one mind you, but a decent one. The quality of prints is very poor and the frustration of printing is very high. Most prints come out wrong or fail altogether. To print a very small object at high quality (no visible texture) takes hours. My guess is by the time this tech becomes available and easy enough to use, Lego will have figured out a way to profit from it.

yo Ianmrid, Random is soooooo Random, thats awesome. Hey I was wondering (regular posters) what comics do you read currently if any? Avengers Arena and Cable and X-Force were two that just wrapped that I read but I also follow the X-Men titles and Spider-Man.

I thought about using the ribbed hose, but it would require some kind of bar to slide over, which would mean i'd have to change all of my connections. Trust me I spent a looooooong time trying to use that hose, this was the only way to do what I wanted though.

Hey ya'll new stuff today! Avengers Academy's Reptile, Finesse, X-23, Hazmat and Instructors Tigra and Quicksilver. More 90 ish X-Men Emma Frost Havok Gambit And some randoms Anachronism of Avengers Arena (will do a group shot of the whole cast once my Darkhawk parts come in, most will be the same pieces from Avengers Academy though) Doombot of Avengers A.I. pics are kinda cruddy this time around (didnt use lighting) and my figs are super dusty, gross.
