I said this in June 2009...but i have bought old BSBby first time and I see I was wrong. Now i have both ships, BSB and BB, and once i know well both ships I think BSB is better. I said BSB is bigger, so is supposed to be slower, and Brickbeard's bounty may be faster and that's true, but BSB's deck is much more consistent. BB's deck is empty and weak, so BB can be damaged easily, and both ships have 2 cannons in broadside...but BSB's pirates don't need to move them, because they have 2 cannons in each broadside. BB's have only two cannons in deck, so BB's pirates should move the cannons to the pertinent broadside in battle...and BSB's pirates don't need to do this. So BSB is mightier than BB (I hope this is correct english by the way)

If we talk about realism, QAR has lots of skeleton ornaments...this is not realistic. By the way I don't understand why that smaller poop deck is more realistic for such a tall cabin

-BB's cannos have movement mechanism. QAR's cannons not. One point to BB -BB's has a really cool poop deck. QAR's stern is a bit empty. One point to BB -QAR's sails are much better than BB's(BB's sails are terrible). One point to QAR So, for me: BB: 2 QAR: 1 I prefer BB, then. By the way, I think QAR has 12 pockets, so it could have 6 or 12 cannons...but it has only 3...too bad.

Really cool photos...old imperial sets were so great...is a shame 2009 imperial fortress was much worse than the old sets "Eldorado Fortress" and "Imperial trading post"...but in the other hand 2010 imperial flagshio was much better than Caribbean Clipper and 1992 Imperial Flagship. If TLC would release cool sets of the spaniards in 1996...sadly they only released 2 sets

i don't understand the meaning of "skeleteon treasure". By the way...i think the fact that the skeleton head didn't fit on the body and the off-kilter legs prove Enlighten products are bad-quality products, so i don't understand you are saying quality isn't bad. I have bought lots of Lego sets since 1991 until 1999...in the decade of the 2000's i didn't bought lego products until 2009, when they released new pirates. And i have never seen a Lego head that doesn't fit on the body of the minifig. I haven't seen off-kilter legs in a Lego nminifig. you bought enlighten products ONCE, and you have seen both things. And other EB user told us in this same thread about enlighten caps that didn't fit in the heads. I think that proves Enlighten quality is bad

Black pearls is a copy of Black Seas Barracuda, so you should try to find a Black Seas Barracuda instructions. By the way, i think you shouldn't buy enlighten sets....they are crappy, even they have cool accesories like chromed swords or new hats and torsos

why did you use a customized Barbossa instead using the official minifig of him?

You are wrong about Roger and Ironhook are in the same set. The guy with the same head and torso as Ironhook but with a brown tricorn instead a captain hat is called Jake the Snake Blake, according with an official Lego Magazine that inform us about RBR's tripulation names.

i like your MOC mate because isa great pirate fortress, i only dislike two points: the door seems to be a prison, not a door put real LEGO cannons, they look better than these customized cannons.

Are you sure RBR Rudder is working while BB's not? I think RBR RUdder is the same as BB because RBR's stern has a collapse system, and i guess this collapse system is incompatible with a working rudder like SES

nice MOC but...why all pirates are girls? That surprised me because most of pirates were male in real life, and real pirate girls like Anne Bony and Mary Read, were dressed like guys. We usually see female pirates that don't hide their real gender in fiction like Elisabeth Swann or the pirate girls in the LEGO world(Like Anne, Bessie, or the 2009 pirate girl) but they are always members of a male group of pirates...but now you show us a pirate female group, why? Ah, don't think i'm blaming you...is only a question, i am not saying i don't like your idea

i love that MOC. I love that customized bluecoats with 2009 shako, and the non-yellow face in all minifigs. I like the way you used Blackbeard too, because is a POTC minifig, but you used him in a non-POTC MOC, and it's correct because BlackBeard is a historic pirate. Great MOC mate...

Personalyy i don't like the design of the upcoming character, but is a great MOC anyway.
