still working on my robot thingee .... and looking for some feedback from you guys.... (obviously the red rond corner pieces need to be bought / replaced with the right color) ... the drawing i use as inspiration is from a guy on deviantart who was more then happy to let me have a go at his robot in lego ;) any advices / ideas so far ? i'm happy for any kind of feedback (see the set here: )

here is what i have so far (just started yesterday :) ). i kinda like the big piece on top as it ends with a nice slope... but i think its too clumsy in the end

i actually just started today and was mostly checking for parts... i do have build the part under the air intake and actually it's a 6*6 plate... i'll post a picture tomorrow...

hi folks.... i'm looking for some advice. i'm trying to replicate and build the robot pictured below and cannot get my head around the part i could use for the air intake.... any advice from a part guru here !?? ;) thanks in advance !!

it's actually white and red (as said before) but i had bad lighting to do the shots ;) anyway...you are absolutely right about the nose... i was going to add weapons underneath but it didn't work out soooooooo..... i didn't know what to do and it ended as it is. and you are right about the engines. i could beef up the underpart of the wing with some mechanical stuff so it doesn't look so empty. maybe i'll do a v02 some time, but for the moment i'm gonna let it rest as i was building on and off for 2 months on this one, and need to do a different one ;) thanks for the constructive comments, i'm glad you like it !

it's actually red (on the ship) and yellow on the base (i had bad lighting for the shoot).... but thanks anyway ;)

Hi all...i'm not a very active user over here but i appreciate the overall quality of moc's i see on this forum, so i wanted to share my latest creation: The white Dragon It started out to be a GARC racer but i liked the overall shape so good with just one pilot in the cabin that i couldn't break it apart ;) It's in some way inspired by manga mechas (the red wings and little antennas etc...) and was mostly build with exoforce and space police parts (plus some orders on bricklink for the final details) Actually the engine was meant to be something much bigger (http://www.flickr.co...157632734552194) , but i couldn't fit the hull around it so it had to shrink (and that was good). The white dragon is a mercenary class ship, super fast to transport his bounty hunter in every possible corner of the galaxy as fast as possible. (Here it is resting on it's refuel base) I hope you'll like it: Have a look at the whole set here: any comments&critics appreciated ;) (and sorry for the bad pictures..i need to get me some proper equipment to take better shots)

thanks for the replies guys..... i did actually fiddle around with some parts and figured a way to connect them using this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=44728 and si-mocs is right... the key is: WHAT THE HELL AM I BUILDING AROUND THAT ;) hehe... aaaaaand now im actually stuck on that.... but as soon as i have some spare time i'll try to figure something out.

Agent orange - WIP.... i'm actually building my first spaceship and i'm going after a certain llok for hte boosters, but i cannot figure out how to connect the boosters with the rest of the spaceship: boosters: and the back of the ship: any ideas GREATLY appreciated !!! :)

hi guys... i actually started experimenting with space shib building after seeing this on flickr: i just took this as a starting point to get my hands on spaceship building and get some training... but i'm already stuck :S as i can see from the picture the large sideparts of teh ship are made from slopes that are on thei side and connected in the middle (where the satellite dishes are)... i was trying yesterday eveneing (with this part http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4733) on how to achieve this but couldn't get my head around that (i'll try to post some pictures of my attempt this evening) but anyway.... does anyone have ANY advice on how to connect the two sides without ending up with a gap in the middle. i'll be very thankfull ;)

@Rook: FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION ..... ;) just joking, but you're right. as i just got into MOC building for over a month now im already happy with how my microbuild turned out... the thing is i don't have alot of parts to work with so im just going with what i have, learning by doing ;) and f*** yeah you're right about the wing, i must have moved it while taking the pictures and didn't notice it.... crap :S

Hello... i'm new to this forum and i found my way over here via Flickr seeing some Microscale builds for the Scifi Contest. i must admit this is my first Microscale build and seeing the other posts that have been made i don't think standing a chance to win anything , but anyway it was nice building it, i had a lot of fun and that counts ;) So here's my entry: ------------------------ THE HARVESTER ------------------------ As ressources on earth came to an end, the world corporation has send out a couple of harvesting cargo ships. These ships are recklessly drilling the surfaces of other planets in search of fuels to keep the machines on earth running. Using their powerful laser transportation system no known or unknown fuel source can be hidden from them and transported back to earth on board of The Harvester. and here's the link to the photoset on Flickr: Oh and this is not inspired by any scifi film or show or whatever, i was just going along with the parts i have !!
