So using one or two little metallic pieces on minifigures in a set that has no other metallic pieces is an "overuse" for you? :l I guess you're complaining now just for the sake of complaining.

I cannot unsee it... That's Five Nights at Freddy's Band ;_; All jokes aside tho, this is a really cool looking band. The only thing that I'd change are the instruments - I think you could use more CCBS and/or technic pieces to build them (it's really easy to make a guitar with HF 2.0 shield piecem like I did here, and those big turbine-pieces from Jetrax are good for drums).

Wow that Vader with his huge belly and skinny legs. Well, at least they're tried, his build seems far more interesting than any of this year's Bionicle sets (which is a shame).

I build my first CCBS MOC back in 2011 and I have to say it's a pretty neat system. It provides a lot of very useful pieces, which allow me to make things I wasn't able to build using only Bionicle system (especially the friction extenders and the shortest bones are extremely useful). But I think that connecting those two system allows to make even GREATER things. Since 2011, when CCBS was introduced, I've made a lot of MOCs using both systems and that's when CCBS shines in my opinion - when used together with the classic Bionicle pieces. I still kinda prefer the old system and use more parts from it rather than the CCBS, but I respect the new system for its versatility, durability and providing A LOT of very useful pieces.
