Wow, that looks like star wars heaven. Very nice! Make sure you tell your wife she is awesome for allowing this to exist. But might I ask why there is a teddy bear by the at-at?

Holy flipping clones, that thing is massive! The attention to detail is awesome, very nice work.

Good to hear! I've been kinda lurking this thread for a while, so I'm looking forward to those pics!

Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary CUUSOO set Discussion
arc replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hold on a just a minute, ghostbusters 3!? Reboot!? I'm not sure whether to be excited or furious. I kinda feel both right now. -
Not bad. Not bad at all. I think of LoSS as male, so I see this as a kind of queen to go with him. Nice.

I'm not a huge fan of the new lewa to be honest, the build and weapons are ok, but I don't like that new miru at all. It looks like the old miru that got old and wrinkly and is wearing big green earmuffs. Which is unfortunate to me because the old miru is one of my favorite masks. If I can afford to get all 6 toa soon, I might pick him up for completions sake, but otherwise I'll pass for now.

I was thinking the same as well, I hope the protectors play a good role in the new canon. I wanna see the story behind these guys.

I really like what you've done with the legs and torso, looking pretty good! Only thing I don't like is that piece on top of the abdomen. I can't help but see one of those tail thingies they put on the back of fancy sports cars.

To me, they have been and always will be matoran. Even when the agori came in, I pretty much just called them matoran. They're the same to me.

I know LoSS is gonna get a lot of hate, but I really like the set. As a set and for parts. Those technic pieces will be crazy useful to me, And I think it looks pretty good put together. There are some things I would've changed though, like have his back legs at an angle like the front, make his gears black, and add some armor to the lever, but overall I like it. And am looking forward to picking it up. Thanks for the review!

I've wanted a lego durge for a while too, come on lego, make it happen.

PoE is looking great, now I must buy him to go with my onua. Damn it lego, why do you have to take all my money?

Ooh, I'm not sure what it is, but LoSS looks great in that pic. Looking forward to the review.

The chest build looks pretty nice, but the lack of elbows is unfortunate. And I'm not a huge fan of those weapons either. Would've preferred the flame piece connected right to the hand as swords, Easy enough fix though. Overall not to bad.

Another nice review! I'm a fan of the new pohatu, and really like the dark orange. I just wish he had more of it. And the pic with him next to the protector was a nice bonus. They look great together. I thought about this for a second, and thought, most sand is composed of extremely tiny rocks and minerals right? In that sense he kind of already is a toa of sand by being stone. Or maybe I'm way over thinking this...

Well, the Walmart near me has had Christmas stuff up for a couple weeks now, and a small few tree shops were open before Halloween. But Christmas doesn't go full swing until close to thanksgiving. Which is pretty close actually... (man, already?) Anyway, I usually get and decorate a tree the weekend after thanksgiving. I probably won't have time to, but one year I'd like to do something like this: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=44963

Interesting idea, looking forward to seeing more of them. (Especially bionicle, if you plan on doing those)

The protector of air is looking fine, as a regular archer, I get a kick out of the bow, and the color scheme has really grown on me. He's me second fave, just below stone. These little guys are impressive.

I don't remember there being a carnataurus in jp3, if you mean the red dino at the spino "droppings" that was a ceratosaurus. If that's what you mean, I'm totally with you. Really wish he got more screen time. sure did. In 1 and 3. Although not in 2, there was one similar to the brachiosaurus in that movie.my jurassic park nerdyness is going crazy. Sorry.

nope, it was pretty close to the lego one above. I believe the rexes from 2 and 3 were more greenish. You can trust me, I've only seen jurassic park 15 times or so.

maybe, it is the same island after all. But I'm hoping that t-rex is from a jp1 set with tour cars and breakable fence and restroom. That would be my dream set.

Really like this little guy, the green actually goes pretty nice, I think stone may be my favorite protector. just above jungle.
-
man, wish I could afford to do that. Anyway, onua, tahu, LoSS, and Protector of stone are the first ones I'll be getting. And maybe protector of air along with them too. I'll have to see a review to be sure. (Hint hint VBBN)
