  1. I'm not sure about these new spring loaded shooters, they seem too action figure like. and also, why are there no plain white clones? It's been almost 3 years since we've had one.
  2. I think I'm in the minority here, but I actually don"t care for the new chewbacca minifigure. In my opinion they should have stuck with the old mold and add printing on the eyes. but the new grievous I like, the printing is way better then the clone wars figure.
  3. yes, hope you guys are cool with that, I know most are 18+ here.
  4. I'm into 70-80's rock bands, one of my favorite songs is .
  5. Thanks. but what do you mean by, "14"?
  6. This being a board game, I wasn't sure where to put this. So mods feel free to move this if necessary. I found this game while looking at some old stuff, and my friend and i decided to play it for old times sake. bionicle: the quest game this being a board game, this review will be a little different from others, there's not really a piece count or set number, so instead, I'll go over how to play the game. six toa inika game pieces are included, allowing six players. the goal is to get to the finish space. each player begins with two "quest cards" which may help you by allowing you to move ahead a few extra spaces, or by sending other players back. if you land on a green space, you draw a card. if you land on a red space, you take the catapult and try to knock down the red piraka "hakann" card. if you hit him, you move ahead an extra space. if you land on a blank space, nothing happens. once someone reaches the "mask of life" finish space, that person wins the game. the box mine is very worn out, my friends used to play it all the time years ago. back the instructions the instructions don't really have pages, it's just one piece folded in half. but the are clear and easy to follow. the game contents the minifigures/game pieces the toa figures resemble the bionicle minifigures instead of the full size figures, but they are represented well. update. I've taken a picture of the game piece alongside one of the bionicle minifigures for comparison. To the left is a regular minifigure, in the center is the game piece included with the game, and to the right is a bionicle minifigure. the catapult: I find this piece odd because it looks like it belongs to a different game. other than that, it does work, it can launch very far. the piraka card: the card is rather easy to knock down, but this game is intended for 8-12 year olds, so i really cant complain. the board: the board is actually very neat, the game starts here, where the player race to the center to get a head start, when a player reaches the center space, the board unfolds. the player who reached the center space stays there, while the other players go to the start space, where they can choose to go the top or bottom path. the also board has land marks from the bionicle world. apologies for the blurry picture. verdict: It's playable game, though a little boring at times. but it is made for kids, so it's really not that bad. I'll give it a 7/10. more pictures can be seen on my flickr. thanks for reading!
  7. this is a great thread, please keep them coming!
  8. I like what you've done with the back, but the front seems a little too long in my opinion.
  9. I recently noticed that, while looking at my copy of set 21002 empire state building, some bricks were cracked. however, the cracks are only visible when the bricks are connected. Has anyone else noticed this problem? With this set or others?
  10. I'm not a huge fan of ninjago, but my little brothers must have spent at least $350 on sets and spinners by now, some of the my favorites I've seen so far are 2505 garmadon's dark fortress, 9449 ultra sonic raider, and 9446 destiny's bounty.
  11. great review! I'm not much of a chima fan, but i have to say this set looks interesting.
  12. Hi all, this my next review on the dino attack set 7476 iron predator vs. t-rex. (known as 7297 dino track transport in Europe) oddly, in Europe dino attack is called dino 2010 and the sets have cages and ropes instead of weapons. anyway, onto the review. set name: iron predator vs. t-rex set number: 7476 theme: dino attack piece count: 278 price: $40 date released: 2005 unfortunately i don't have the box, so i'll go right to the instructions. mine have taken some damage over the years. sorry the picture is blurry here, A, "random instruction page" that seems customary here. from left to right we have specs, digger, and viper. specs being my personal favorite. the printing on these guys is great, no back printing however. The t-rex, this thing is massive. it's over a foot long, (about 30 centimeters for non-US readers.) It might actually be longer than the tank! the eyes and tongue light up as well. some love it, some hate it, but i think it's pretty cool. inaccurate to a real tyrannosaurus, but still cool. note that on the the head there are supposed to be two horns, but i cut them off years ago to make it look like a more like a real t-rex, unfortunately that was before i realized its value. The tank. it has a good color scheme, and sturdy construction. the set has a lot of stickers, but most of mine are missing. front view. side view, the cannon arm kinda droops down, but i think thats just because the pieces on mine are worn out. back view. The interior, the screens and dino displays are some of my favorite bits. A machine gun is found on the side of the tank, a nice touch and adds play value. On the other side we have a fold down ladder, a clever little design. The set all together, nowadays the set is hard to find and expensive. but if you can find one in the $30-45 price range, it's a great set to have on display or for younger kids to play with. it gets a 9/10 from me. thanks for reading, more reviews hopefully soon!
  13. thanks, and yes,I got this off ebay a few months ago for $5. box and all.
  14. thanks! I plan on reviewing other sets from the line soon.
  15. Hi, this is my first review, hope you enjoy. set name: street sprinter vs. mutant lizard set number: 7473 theme: dino attack piece count: 42 price: $5 I'll start with the box the dino attack boxes show destroyed buildings, cracked roads, and walls of fire and lightning. pretty violent for lego, but cool nonetheless. the back, note the alternate model, not something we see nowadays. the instructions. sorry this one's a bit blurry. the minfigure in this set is called digger, a nice minifig. no back printing however. the weapon this guy carrys is huge. if stood tip down, the gun is taller than the minifigure! the dino, or "mutant lizard" these guys have a pretty bad reputation, I like them though. side view. they're pretty long and slender. the quad.or atv. the color scheme looks pretty good. and the model is very sturdy. front view side view. here you can see the front and back aren't quite level. back view. i'm not really sure what that blue thing is. here it is all together. Overall, a neat little set that goes great with the rest of the dino attack line, if you can find one at a reasonable price, it's worth it if your a dino fan.
