  1. "That includes weapons too. It ensures they don't rust, as well." Annienal states, trying to push Traci in the right direction. She considered doing so for Luke, but didn't want to impede on Calamity's toes. "Also, um, Rex... I, um, think you're good to go. Just keep hitting people with your artillery like you did Calamity and I think we'll be good." Annienal crossed her arms. "Well, better armour would go a long way." Annienal grabbed her plain shield (SP: 5) off her back and hands it to Traci. "You, um, should really use a shield, and while this one's not too flashy, it'll help in a pinch."
  2. Karie returns from her sleep, looking flustered and angry. She makes a motion to slam the door, but pulls back looking frustrated. "You know what? One's Jinn and Lind finish with their morning pleasantries, let's move along, shall we? I've got some words for your boss, myself, Strivus." Karie sneered. She finishes straightening her suit, looking irritable.
  3. Update will come tomorrow. I have things to attend to as well, so it may come later in the day.
  4. Annienal helps Traci of and passes her a cloth. "It's, um, you know... to wash your armour off. You should strive to keep your armour clean." Annienal shifts about in her armour. "Warlen? I guess you should give the feedback, seeing how you're party leader."
  5. Sounds like something Immortalis would do. "That's grammatically incorrect, boss." *stares intensely at the mistake until it vanishes from existence* "What spelling error?"
  6. The sound looms closer and closer to the heroes, like a whirring swarm of locusts. It drowns out all other noise and in a blink of flashing light the party finds themselves back outside of Ernesto's house, except his house is gone! Seemingly ripped from the foundation, all that's left is a crater sized hole where the writer's home once sat. "Oh, woe is me! My house... it's gone! Wh-what happened?" In Ernesto's hands was an Encore Plectrum, obviously bought with Nerwin's money. A figure in white robes stands in front of the crater, looking sternly over the scene. -The Party- En Sabah Nur (Played by Jebediahs) 31 year old male human, Beast Warrior Level 33 *Natural Respite*, *Immunity: Blinded, Fragile, Sealed and Lightning elemental attacks*, *Nimble on first round of combat*, *Deals double damage to enemies weak to fire* *Encouraged!* Power: 48 (Level 33 + Axe 15) Defense: 7 (Artefact Bonus 7) Health: 53/62 (Mage Base 5 + Level Up Bonus 32 + Beast Warrior Bonus 15 + Raw Meat Bonus 5 + Raw Meat Bonus 5) Gold: 25 Equipment: Mythril Axe (WP: 15, Axe), Traveler's Cloak (SP: 1, Backwear ), Custom Fitted, Grounded and Sealed Heavy Armour of Brilliance(SP:5,Immune: fragile, blinded, sealed and lightning, suitable for En Sabah Nur, Bodywear, ), Flexible Greaves (SP: 1, imparts the Nimble effect during the first round of combat, Footwear ), Fire Amulet (Makes physical attacks do double damage to all enemies that are weak to fire, Accessory ) Inventory: Weapons: Sangriste Dagger (WP: 5), En, Sabah, Nur (Shurikens 3/3, WP: 5), Poisonous Rod (WP:5, causes poisoned by 5-effect; staff), Quarterstaff (WP: 22/44 against humanoids, suitable for mages, clerics and necromancers ), Earthy Wooden Shield (SP:6, grants immunity to wood and earth-elemental attacks), Beast Totem (The wearer may choose to enter battle in Beast Form; suitable for Beast Warriors; accessory)Artefacts: Cobra Nemes (Absorbs poison, recovering health instead of taking damage from poisoning, suitable to clerics, mages, chi monks and necromancers, Headwear), Little Jane's Muff (Mage's Muffler, Protects from sealed-effect, Accessory ), Shackles of War (Prevents anyone from fleeing battles, Accessory ), Lock & Chain (Prevents items in the inventory from getting stolen; Accessory ), Carapace (SP: 3, Immunity to SP Reduction, Bodywear ), Helm of Horror (Successful hits impart the Afraid effect to the target; headwear ), Lichen Armour (The wearer’s ether is counted as additional health if health is depleted and Darkness Immunity, suitable to classes with ether, Bodywear ), Sedge Hat (+4 Ether, Headwear ), Magic Mirror (The user reflects all ether-based attacks back to the caster without getting damaged by them, Accessory ) Spell Items: Garnet (Earth), Aquamarine (Water), Topaz (Lightning), Ruby (Fire), Scroll of Confusion Consumables: 3 Potions, Grand Potion, 3 Ether Cores, 6 Remedies, Phoenix Essence, Phoenix Incense, Titan Heart (Grants encouraged- and inspired-effects when consumed), 5 Venoms, Deadly Venom, Feather of Lithe (Makes the user nimble for three rounds, giving them a 1/3 chance to completely avoid rolls of COUNTER and DAMAGE and Free Hits.), Feather of Flight (Allows the user to flee from the battle when used.), Warforged Alfred (Nur can call his golem minion twice per battle to protect him from all damage and effects for the remainder of the round or once per battle to protect him and another party member from all damage and effects for the remainder of the round.), 2 Elixers. 1 Mythril Shard Tools: Bedroll, Pickaxe, Magnifying Glass, Demon Repellant, Silver Ore (worth 70 gold) Decamon Deck: Shy Shell (Aquatic 2), Demon Ray (Aquatic 3), Will-o'-the-Wisp (Fiery 1), Barghest (Electric 2), Automaton (Electric 5), Vampire Bat (Flying 3), Specter(Icy 2), White Widow (Icy 3), Golden Scorpion (Luminous 2), Gold Golem (Luminous 6), Toxic Toad (Plant 1), Tangleweed (Plant 3), Scarab (Rock 1), Mud Frog (Rock 2), Stone Golem(Rock 8) 81 year old Male Ogre Hunter Level 43.6 *Natural Respite* *Favors Humanoid and Aquatic enemies* *Immune to Fragile, Blinded, and Confused* *1/3 chance to revive when KO'd* Power Bonus: +2 WP for bows and crossbows Defense: 11 Health: 36/57 Gold: 3546 Equipment: Hunter's Crossbow (WP:12, double WP against beasts, fire, ice, wind, and darkness-elemental), Hunter's Quiver (Bows and Crossbows +2WP, allows Hunters to favor two types of enemies, back wear), Tricorne (SP: 3, head wear), Heavy Armor (SP: 5, wearer is immune to fragile, blind, and confused effects, body wear), Moone Greaves (SP: 3), Vorpalis Talisman (1/3 chance of instantly resurrecting with 1 HP and 1 Ether upon being knocked out; accessory) Inventory Weapons: Composite Bow (WP:12, ignores SP,light, lightning, water, wood, and earth-elemental; bow), Unlucky Crossbow (WP: 13, causes Jinxed Effect), Oversized Greatsword (WP:16, double damage on targets that are clearly smaller than the hero, greatsword), Giant Hammer (WP: 13, deals Confused) Artifacts: Medal of Glory (Wearer gains 3x experience from battles, accessory), Paper Doll (Immunity to Hexed) Pugilist's Gloves (+2 Power, Immunity to Weakened), Lucky Doubloon (Grants "Special Guard"; accessory), Grogmas Beard (Power bonus equal to the number of the current month (eg. +1 in January, +12 in December); accessory.) 7. So, yeah, that was a thing that happened. Let's start with the big one: the Ashoka/Vader fight was awesome. The dialogue, the actual fight, Ashoka actually managing to rough Vader up- it was really quite a spectacle. Being someone who jumped onto Rebels without seeing The Clone Wars, I did grow rather fond of Ashoka's character, and I was pretty antsy seeing the fight play out and knowing how it had to go down. So, yeah, job well done in that department. Also, for people complaining about Kanan's sight and how he's going to be a liability: he will more than likely have to rely on his other senses, like how he pushed Maul off of the pyramid through his hearing, sort of like a Jedi Toph Bei Fong. Although, this suddenly makes me wonder how much the blind Kanan variant figure is going to go for, and which set it will be released in. Probably going to be a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive or something. So, in summary, this episode was really, really good. Definitely the best this series has produced, and after hearing Sabine's going to be getting a more prominent role next season, I cannot wait to see what this series produces next.
  8. Annienal blocks Traci's attack and comes back on her, swinging at her from the front row.
  9. "I'd sleep with one eye open, Vindy. As much as I like you, I don't like enough to not kill you." Amber playfully winks. Connor takes the geode and pulls his wand out of his vest. He swirls it around the geode, causing the rock to disperse. Eventually, an earthy brown gem is produced from the rock mass. "Ah, a garnet! Here you go, sir." 10. "You know, for a guy as busy as Immortalis, you certainly make it seem like he has a lot of time on his hands to judge people. Shouldn't this wait until after he's judged the rest of the houses?" Karie inquires.
  11. I am so hyped for this two parter. My biggest hope is that we get a shift in the dynamic of the series. Someone's probably not going to make it off Malachor. The big question though is who are they going to be, and what cost will the parties involved pay after the events in these two episodes?
  12. Connor and Jensen nod in agreement. "Then it seems we've come to the agreement that we're handing her over to the Syndicate to hold onto. Seeing how none of us are actually members of this organization, we'll contact them and come to an arrangement. In the meantime, I think you gentleman deserve a rest. I'll lock Amber in the basement while Connor fetches a Syndicate member to assess our situation. You'd of made McCreary proud, and you've ultimately helped save the city. I'll ensure that when the time comes when this cultists do rear their ugly heads, you guys will be informed. You can let go of her now, Vind." "Vind, I'm rather busy for the rest of the day. If you'd like me to look at those Geodes of yours, I'd like to do it now." Amber scoffs. "Pfft. Well, I think we'll keep in touch, boys. Thanks for not murdering me and all. It was fun... I guess. Oh, and Arthur," Amber blows the prophet a kiss, winking at him, "I will convince you to join me. One way or another." The cold winter air left the city as the party began filing out. They didn't know when it would come, but eventually they would have to stand up to Amber's cult and their sinister plan for the city. Having earned a solid rest, the party departed the Way's End Cathedral reminiscing the town they left behind and knowing that their work here in the city was far from over. -THE QUEST IS SUCCESSFUL!!!- The Party Sorrow(Endgame) *Party Leader* 428 years old undead Necromancer Level 32 *Immune to Sealed, Afraid, and Doomed* Power: 59 (32+2+25) Defense: 8 Health: 43/43(7+30+5) Ether: 26/36 (31+4) Gold: 1861 428 years old undead Necromancer Equipment: Sticky Gloves (Increases the amount of gold stolen by 50% (rounded up), suitable for rogues and beast warriors; handwear),Pink Ribbon (Max Ether +3, grants immunity to sealed, afraid, and doomed; accessory), Staff of the Supreme Necromancer (WP:25; damages undead; +5 level to raised undead; suitable to necromancers; staff) Inventory: Reaper’s Scythe (WP:33, damages only humanoids; suitable to assassins only; scythe), Shark Jaw Scythe (WP 20/40 vs. aquatic monsters; scythe), Longsword (WP: 5), Dark Cloak (SP:1, Max Health +1, Power +1, suitable for rogues and barbarians; backwear), Archer's Hat (Power +1, suitable for rangers; headwear), Disguise Kit (Allows the user to disguise them self as the opposite gender; accessory), Helmet (Max. Endgame, you still need to disperse the reward cash of 1000 gold. 2. Asphalt, you can get those Geode's cashed in with Connor. 3. If any of you want to talk to Connor, Jensen, or Amber, feel free to do so. Once that's done, you can head back to the hall.
  13. It didn't take Karie to look at the Empath Glass to know Charon was clearly enraged. She moved herself behind a chair just incase. She uncorks a bottle of wine and pours herself a drink. "I don't know what Siercon's done, Charon, but clearly if he's managed to fool you it's your fault for not having better security. Were your friends not told that we would be here? The fault lays on whoever's managing this event for allowing Siercon to trick your friend into believing he was one of you." Karie states. She raised an eyebrow to the angel, taking a sip of her wine. "At least, that's how I see it."
  14. Annie and Vind go waaaaay back. They've quested for at least three adventures straight. Kellim and Annie where in, what, one quest together? That and Calamity was on the quest, and Annie get's really salty whenever Calamity's around. Also, egotistical? She skittish, uptight, and very quiet, but I wouldn't use egotistical. Karie on the other hand... Also, welcome to the game, Kappy! Nice seeing another mage!
  15. I think Connor's merely making remarks about the way the Syndicate act. They've always been somewhat secretive. As for McCreary not liking the Syndicate, they previously went trouncing through the cemetery grounds trying to find someone in Four's Company, and McCreary's pretty protective of the place. From Four's Company and Go Now, In Peace.
  16. Karie snatched the shard out of midair, looking it over and admiring it's allure briefly before putting it away. "Thanks." She replies, following Glaz. She found it hard to take the angel seriously when her daughter's fate lay in the hands of the "kindly old dragon" who was contemplating blowing up Eubric. "Lead the way, Glaz."
  17. "The basement's a valid option. I'm certain we could have Connor drain her of her ether and ensure that she doesn't make a peep. All that's down there is old documents and supplies for burying the dead. The Paladin Order's probably more keen on dishing out justice than detaining a wanted cultist until her father arrives. Whenever she does. That and McCreary and the Paladin Order have a complicated history. I don't think they'd be too keen on dealing with him again after what he did." "Yeah, no, I don't think I want anything to do with the Paladin Order, thank you very much." Amber snorts. "First of all, I don't know where they are. My order to them before we got ran out of Fellcrest was to change their base of operation, which we were going to do anyways, but since I wasn't there I have no input as to where they went. Probably somewhere closer to Eubric though, so they're probably in Uland, or moving to Uland. Not that I could actually find them, because they expect me to be dead by this point, and I appreciate the fact you've gone this far without stabbing me repeatedly. Secondly, I can't contact them because my shadow had a bomb thrown in it's face, and it's still reeling from it. It could've gone out to find them, but you know, I doubt they'd listen." "Yeah, and spend tomorrow and the rest of my days as a head on a spike, not really my cup of tea." "'ate to agree with her, but she's right, you know. The watch has a bit of a problem when it comes to killing people they probably shouldn't in order to make examples of. Unless you have a lot of money to give to the watch in order to keep her locked up, as well as someone who we can rely on to ensure she won't get executed, then I don't think giving her to the watch is the best option." "Those hooded fellows? The group that nobody's supposed to know about but everyone does? If anyone knows where or how to get a hold of them, I don't see the harm in trying. I mean, we could always get their opinion and see if they could detain her. I'd trust them more than the Watch, at least. Although, I remember McCreary having a bit of a problem with them..."
  18. Despite Annienal missing her swing she felt somewhat proud for her trainees. "Good, um, defence Traci. That was a good move. Um, Rex, that was a really good shot. Keep up with that, please!" She was happy to be rid of Calamity, if even for a moment. Annienal took a moment to down a grand tonic from the back row.
  19. Karie paused her thoughts for a moment. She thought about the question being asked and the ones being asked previously, thinking about it briefly. My daughter. Karie didn't think about it for very long. She didn't find it very helpful having the angel intrude upon her emotions, but perhaps it was just the state of this room.
  20. Karie slouched her arms back, feeling relieved. She didn't think she could hold that position for much longer. Who do I care about the most? Well... my daughter, Rachelle. Karie felt somewhat guilty about the question. She didn't like having favourites, especially to the young life she and Masson produced, but she could not imagine something happening to her.
  21. The narrator fumbles, trying to flip the next page. The pages seemed to be stuck... Digging into the earth with her shovel, Nerwen digs, finding a large gold ore. Lucky you! The party moves through the opening, following Nerwen's heavenly light. Making their way through the tunnel, the party can hear noises up ahead. Scratching of stone together, the rushing of water, it all seemed to be coming up ahead. It seemed to be coming from behind them as well. What would the party do?
  22. Hey, I'll throw my two cents in. I own Sir Bedivere from Monty Pythin and the Holy Grail and Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski from The Big Lebowski. That said, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a Harley Quinn.
  23. Karie takes a seat. She takes a moment to straighten her posture before removing her gear. "Yeah, if it takes Immortalis a few days looking for universal truths, it'll probably take me a month at the least." Karie took in a few deep breaths, mainly trying to remember watching her step sister do this. She closed her eyes. Who was she thankful for? Karie never really pondered on this much, and at the realization of this she felt somewhat guilty. Perhaps now she could at least try and... maybe not humble herself, because when was that going to happen? No, more like, come to grips with the fact that she didn't have to go through this alone. Who was she most thankful for, though? Was that even what she should be thinking about? She kept gravitating towards certain people, but in the end she felt herself thinking about Sorrow. She was at least thankful that even after her sister's death she had managed to find out something about herself and her family.
  24. Annie sighs in relief over not getting hit with the cannonball. "Um, that was a good shot, Rex. You came close. Um, Luke.... Luke?" Annie noticed him on the ground. "Oh dear, um, guys, don't tell Vindsval about this. At all... um, Traci, keep your shield up, and, um, make sure to ice your wounds!" Annienal attacks Traci again from the front row.
  25. "If I remember correctly, your goal was to figure out what Amber was doing, and stop her if she was in Fellcrest... and seeing how you've brought a woman with you, I'm assuming you took that as bring her back? Well... um, I suppose that counts as completing your objective." Amber shuffles her feet and says nothing at Connor's statement. "Three ghosts. Two in hats. They seemed less malicious and more happy to be finished with Fellcrest. Said they were off to go hitch hike some more. I don't know, they were weird." "Ah, so it is Amber! Well, in that case, job well done! I suppose..." Connor looks at Vind curiously. "You don't happen to have any gems on you? Being a witch, it seems like you'd have no need for one." "Heh. I like this one. Straight to the point." Jensen replies, swishing his flash about. The pressure Vindsval puts on Amber's shoulder seems to hurt her, as she seems to wince. "Yes, well, um... about that-" "He's gone." Jensen interrupts. "He packed a bag of supplies and told me he had things to attend to outside of the city. He did this shortly after the portal closed. He didn't tell me a word about where he was going or why, and since then I've had to take care of a lot more around here. McCreary's told me however to check up on you should you return and find out what happened. I'm going to need you to tell me how the Fellcrest trip went down and what Amber was doing. Unless, of course, Amber wishes to speak up herself?" Amber grins at Jensen's remark, trying hard not to stifle a giggle. "Oh, look at you lot. Poor daddy's gone missing and now you don't know how to run the cemetery. Ha! What a joke." Amber's mode seemed to improve greatly at Jensen's words. "Look, I have no idea what happened to daddy dearest, so before you start attacking me with such rhetoric, think again. I have no real gain from doing so. Oh, and uh, since I'm now no longer with my group, they'll more or less assume to go through with the plans to turn Eubric into a necropolis. Of course, it's going to take awhile to coordinate themselves again, but they will eventually." Amber attempts to sit in the pews, but Vind's grasp forces her to stand in her spot. Connor and Jensen take Amber's words in before responding. "Well, it seems like we've managed to get some time to prepare ourselves and the city against an inevitable attack. Good show, lads." "McCreary left you this as a sign of his gratitude. When he returns, I'll give him the good news." Jensen hands 1000 gold to Sorrow to split amongst the party. "We're also going to need to come to a conclusion about what to do with Miss McCrea-" "Makepeace... my name is Makepeace." "I don't think your in any position to demand things." Jensen replies sternly. "Anyways, we obviously can't let her go. I'm more than certain Josiah would appreciate not killing her."
