"Octavyn.... was a pain in the rear in combat before, and I have no doubt he is now. I've got the vision." Karie strums a note on her Finely-Tuned Guitar towards the not Octavyn, followed up with her continuation of her Rapid March.

    Karie downs a Smelling Salts then proceeds to play a Rapid March. "If anyone's got anything specific they want to do, do it now!" OOC: I'll have a battle order up once everyone's made their moves.

    "No, not yet! Start blasting into the opposing flanks with your Amethyst! Once we've gotten our sides whittled down enough can we focus on buffing ourselves! I'm not losing today! I refuse!"

    OOC: Karie should have full ether. Also, Vindsval should have both Sexy and the Spring Staff. "Never tell me the odds, Arthur!" Karie barks. "If someone wishes to, I can potentially have a large portion of our opponents dead in the mud with this little ditty." Karie pulls out the sheet music for "Murder on the Dancefloor". "Otherwise, I can have us all moving quicker and luckier if someone wishes to drop a smelling salt on me. I've also got Baffy, who can knock someone fast asleep. If you have bombs, unleash them! Immortalis is going to hear this from his cozy little nook in the sky! Do not hold back! If this bastard wants a fight, we're going to give him one!"

    Oh, wow, that Samurai X Cave set looks really cool! Even if it doesn't completely seal the entranceway, the skull is really cool! The display for the old armour is also really cool! I love how we're getting good old fashioned continuity in a Lego set!

    Karie grimaced at the oncoming horde of angels. She ensures her ether is maxed, as well as her health using grand tonics and grand potions. She digs her feet into the dirt, readying her stance as she taps her foot in rhythm. "Well done, bring the entire army of angels to us. Like bringing lambs to the slaughter." Karie shook her head, looking tired and frustrated. She'd beaten these sort of odds before, but not with the life she had built on the line. Not to this degree. "Tell Charon I'm coming, and that if he's bringing down the hammer, I'm going to bring his goddamn house down."

    Karie catches the Parasol, equipping it and remove the Encore Plectrum. She opens the parasol up, thankful to finally be out of the rain. She would've admired the umbrella's more elaborate detailing, but that would have to wait until after the encounter. "Ah, thanks Arthur!"

    "Eyes alert, everyone. Take a moment to look around and ensure our friend isn't the only one here. Including you, Anemos." Karie orders, taking a look around herself for any signs of the other angels. She clutched her guitar neck firmly, fingers itching to pluck a string. "Fool me once. I distinctly remember you with Charon when you knocked us out, and we're not going to be experiencing that again anytime soon."

    "If all of you are ready, let's get a move on and find Arthur. He seems to know where he's going, so if we find him, we find our veteran." "I don't like him because he's arrogant and has a grating "holy than thou" attitude to him. His angels don't help his cause, either. Needless to say, we're not getting to him any quicker standing around here looking to catch colds. Let's get a move on." Karie scowled. She wrapped her arms together. The wind and the rain was beginning to get to her skin, and she was hoping to get to the veteran sooner than later.

    Karie nodded in agreement. "Good." "No. You were wrong. Take from this what you will, Lind, but mercenaries do just about anything. If you're a member of Heroica, you help the people." Karie shook her head. She was getting frustrated with Lind's antics already, but remembered to at least be civil towards him. "Lind, you may stand."

    Karie covers her eyes with her hands. She removes them after a moment, looking frustrated. She attempts to mutter a word, but finds herself speechless. She eventually comes to a rational sentence. "See, here's the thing. I really doubt this Annienal chick is going to enjoy being under the effects of a mind altering potion. You give her the antidote. Then what? You intend for her to snap out of it and not know what just happened? See, that's the thing, Lind, you give someone a love potion because you have to, not because you can! You give someone whom you want to give affection back a love potion because you want them to love you back, and you can't get it any other way! It's not something a normal person uses in order to find someone to spend the rest of their life with!" Karie shouts. She straightens her outfit and looks Lind over with scrutiny. She looks over him long and hard, thinking about what she was going to do before putting her guitar away. She crosses her arms with an exasperated huff. "I'm not Arthur, though. As much as I trust him as both a friend and an ally, I am willing to give you a second chance- a very small, slim chance because you get on my nerves and you make stupid decisions- but I'm giving you a second chance. First thing you're going to do is apologize to Arthur. Promptly. The moment you see him next I want you to sincerely tell him that you made an error in judgement, and that it won't happen again. You will treat him like the house leaders behind the Crescent Union. The second thing you're going to do is talk to Annienal once this is finished, with myself present, and without the use of a love drug. I don't care what you talk about, but you're going to make your peace or whatever with her with me sitting beside you to ensure that everything works out smoothly. Are we clear on this, Lind?"

    Karie huffed as Arthur walked off on her, watching him run off into the woods. She turned to Lind, next to Anemos. "Anemos, I don't want you to respond to Lind." Karie states. She moves her gaze from Anemos to Lind, sitting in the dirt. "So, what happened back there?"

    "Beats me. All's quiet, so I can think we're alright. Still, I want eyes out here, and two... sets are better than one." Karie wasn't sure still how Proggs saw, and was thankful she managed to come up with a word to fit the scenario. Arthur and Lind suddenly burst out, beginning to yell and scream as they both get into a heated argument. Karie tries to find a place to interject, but finds it hard as the two's accusations intensify. Ready to boil over, Karie removes her Finely Tuned Guitar and plucks one of the strings, emitting a nasty, ear ringing chord. "Lind. Sit. Now. Arthur. Inside. Now. Kay?" Karie returns to the two a jaded, forced grin. It was clear from her glowering eyes the minstrel wasn't in the mood to listen to either's side of the story.
