  1. "Good lad!" She responsed, and with a pat to his back, she stumbles back to the bars to exact same spot she left. The bars were cold again when she clenched them, even after a few seconds from leaving them.
  2. Karie, still a little groggy, stumbles backward and trips into Arnulf, and gets close enough that only the two of them can hear what Karie says: "Don't try anything hasty. Be patient."
  3. Karie attempts to get up and stumbles a bit, not noticing her hair is all askew and that parts of her makeup have rubbed off. She was still groggy from the blow, making her feel a little tipsy. She stumbles towards the bars of the cell, then clenches them. Surprisingly, she chuckles. " "Alias"? HA! Laughable mate, absolutely laughable! HAHA! I gotta say though, I'm more than a little curious. On more than one thing too. That blade, prong thingy-mah- whiz, what's it do, and how does it run? Second of all, loving the outfit. Who you working for, and how do I get one. Thirdly, I'm a little peckish. Got any chicken?" She gives a rather foolish smile.
  4. Rule of Rogue #17: Never trust the employer. Karie stares at the hooded figure with intent and says to him: " I must ask, Mr. Hooded Figure, what does that large thing in your hand do ( and if your going to do a demonstration, do it on one of the rangers first)."
  5. Karie stops for a moment, realizing she just said something rather incensitive. But how was she to know? All along she just assumed that Brickington's father was off waiting on some foreign shore, waiting to greet him upon return. It couldn't have been more different. "Yeah, sure, I guess so." Karie keeps quiet, and continues to walk with the others.
  6. "You were in the wrong place the moment you met me!" Karie snickers. "If you're looking for something poetic, I got nothin', it's what you feel you need to do. Daddy's not going to come running all the way from where ever it is you came from to lull you to sleep. Hold on, something poetic is coming. I'm going to borrow a poetic saying since none come to mind. An old friend told me this: "Greatness isn't counted by the hand your dealt. It comes from how you play it. You follow?" Karie asks.
  7. Karie stares at the two rangers making weird noises at the spider. "Great, we're being led by spider whispers." Karie snarks. "As to how I got into this business Arnulf, it was Arnulf right? Anyway, when I was younger, you could of called me a bit of a rebel. Going against mom and dad's wishes and what not. So, I flunked out of this upper class school they sent me to and worked as a pickpocket for a while. A bit of singing and dancing on the side, but as of late I've been back at my roots trying to pay for bread, or in some cases steal it. And when news of this "noble" organization came to my ears, I hopped on a boat and kicked the door in to the place. I've heard about you actually, the guy that cheated the monks, right?" Karie continus the conversation with Arnulf as she continues up the path to her "employer", while keeping an eye on the "spider whispers".
  8. Karie blushes a bit, which is barely visible through the extensive white makeup. "Lady? Jeez, can't remember the last time I was called that." She ponders to herself. "And to you too, good sir knight!" She replies, accompanied by a gesturous, expressive bow. She notices the other rogue in the party. "Arnulf, I presume?" She puts her hand out, expecting a him to respond with a hand shake. Karie is ready to kick sense stealing jerks in the head. (OOC) I will be gone for a little while, so don't worry, I'll be back by tommorow late midday.
  9. Not even into the first quest, and the possibility of a romantic relationship is looming on the horizon! Loving it so far. As a heads up, I may be a little late, I've got some things to take care of, but I'll be participating by tommorow afternoon at the latest.
  10. "Yeah, I suppose so." Karie took a look at the quest board. The name "Arnulf Bishop" stood out. "He's a rogue, isn't he. Ah well, nothing like a bit of friendly competition." She grabs what few belongings and heads for the door, but turns when she realizes she's missing something. "You coming?"
  11. Karie looks at the ranger, than back at Brickington. Something obviously was chewing at him. "That ranger causing you any problems?" She asks with inquisitiveness.
  12. Karie goes back to fidgeting with her dagger. Up with a backflip, back down, a twist of the wrist, and back into the air. "If by excited, you mean ready to be stabbed, betrayed, and have our senses stolen, than yes!" She remarks sarcastically, smirking. "And you? You feeling up to the task at hand?"
  13. "That's cool." Karie responds to Brickington. Suddenly an eruption explodes from inside the Hall. The shriek is powerful for Karie to stop messing with her dagger and look in the direction the ruckus originated from. A Ranger quickly gets up and consoles the woman. After a few minutes she storms out of the hall, passing the duo who are lingering by the bar's entrance. "You know who she is, Brickington?" Karie asks.
  14. "Ah, Brickington, was it? Yeah, I did." She swishes the bottle of potion on her hip with her hand. "So, what's going on with you?" Despite having a conversation with Brickington, Karie is fully focused on her dagger, as she flips and tosses it into the air.
  15. Karie arrives back from the market in time to have the doors open for her, as a small figure leaves the Hall. The figure leaves with such stride, that Karie almost bumps into the individual. She turns back for a second to double check. "Wait, was that a woman?" She says aloud to herself. "Nah, couldn't be." She finds a spot near the entrance of the bar and begins messing around with her dagger.
  16. Sorry for the late response, just read the responses now! When coming up with the character, sexiness wasn't something I was trying to attain, but in the end, I guess Karie wound up being that. I think playing with that would be entertaining though. As for male rogues, yeah, the more I think about it, there's a lot of them.
  17. Karie wanders about the market looking at the various wares. She stops at Gnomeo's and ponder's through his goods, devising a plan. "Look! A distraction!" She yells, pointing off into the market. The Gnome gives her a blank stare. "You really think that trick was going to work on a seasoned buisnessman?" "Eh, it was worth a shot." She purchases a bedroll for 5 gold. Karie now has 5 gold pieces left. She wanders around for a little bit until she notices Portia's. "I'll take this potion for 3 gold pieces, nothing less." Portia gives her a dirty look. "You do know how hard it is to craft one of these?" "Yes, I do, and that is why I say it's worth 3 gold pieces." "Now you look here!" "You drive a hard bargain madame," Kaire interrupts, "I'll pay four gold pieces." "Five, as the sign says, or you can buzz off." Portia responds. Karie ponders hard for a moment. "Deal!" Karie purchases a potion for 5 gold pieces. She now has 0 gold coins. After realizing she is out of money, Karie strolls back up to the hall.
  18. "No, no, I found it very interesting." The food arrives and Karie quickly scarfs it down hastily and let's out a rather loud burp. She covers her mouth with her fist. "We'll, I hope I don't come of as being rude, but I have some errands to run in town. Well, it was nice getting to know you, I'll catch you later." She gets up and heads for town.
  19. Rule of Rogue #34: The best things in life are free. "You know, why not. You seem like a nice lad. Lamb chops would be nice right about now. Haven't had that for a while, and on that note, I haven't even gotten through this Falana Wine yet, but when I do, I'll remember to tell you." Karie leans inwards towards Brickigton. "As to why I'm here, I escaped from the Eubric jailhouse after killing a noblewoman for her belongings. I killed three guards during my escape, and now, I'm on the run." Karie grins delirously, and begins to snicker. "Only pulling your leg! No, in all honesty, works a little hard to find back home, especially for a rogue. So, I packed what little belongings I owned and "aqquired" ships passage to Eubric after hearing of the Heroica Guild. And yourself? Why are you, of all people here. You must have some amount of money, being a knight."
  20. Karie snaps out of her daydream and looks up at the man in armour. "Your a knight I take it? Karie Alderflask, nice to meet you." She puts her feet up on the table and motions for the knight to sit down. "And your name is?"
  21. Leaving the bar with her glass of Falana Wine, Karie skims the quest board. "Inexperienced, and not well known. AKA expendable. Sounds like fun." Karie signs up for Quest #56 and Quest #57 She then heads back up to the bar and looks around for a place to sit, and finds a nice corner table to herself, and begins to reminisce.
  22. Outside of Heroica Hall, the din can be heard from outside. Leaning against the fence outside, a pale woman fidgets with her dagger, her face covered by a mask. "It's gotta be good, it's gotta be memorable." She mutters to herself. "My entrance must be one that everyone in that hall will be talking about for years." Finally an idea dawns upon her, as she triumphantly marches up the steps, and reaches the grand set of doors. "Here goes nothin'." She states, takes a deep breath, then kicks the doors and struts into the hall. Not a single head turns. "Ignorant jerks." She mumbles, taking a few steps forward. She doesn't get to far however, before slipping, falling flat on her face. Quite a few people turn to see the pale faced rouge slip and fall face first onto the glossy floor. "Great Karie, you aspire to be remembered, and you certainly have." She thinks to herself, before getting back up on her feet. She works her way to the bar, squeezing into the crowd. "You got anything without dairy, I'm lactose intolerant." Karie Adlerflask, 22 year old Human,Female Rogue Lvl 1

  25. Well, a Lego RPG, I may just have to join! Are there any prerequisites to joining, or do I just create a character and kick the door to Heroica Hall down?
