My reaction in emoticon form:

Reacting quickly Karie sidesteps out of Johon's way. "You could of at least warned me you were going to lunge at me!" Watching Johon's movements closely, Karie parries his attack, then in a circular motion of the wrist, sends Johon's staff into the air, which lands a few feet away from them. "Not bad, eh?"

You know, I should have expected this. Someone needs to create a class that combines Beast Warrior, Harlot, and Minstrel, just so we can have Were-Newt Karie in a Cat Suit using a Microphone!
-
A Secret Under Eubric is going to be two normal battles, one boss battle, and a few random battles sprinkled about.

A rather proper looking individual walks into Heroica Hall and walks towards the quest board. He leans his cane onto the wall and pulls out a pen and notebook. He then scratches the names on the sign-up sheet into his book. "Hmm, more interest than I thought..." Current Sign-Ups for Quest 71: Sylph Solanum (Dannylonglegs) Elgar Gligin (Jedi master Brick) He puts his notebook and pen back into his pocket then swiftly grabs his cane. He put it under his arm as he walks out of the hall.

LordoftheNoobs, thank you.Now I can't go to sleep tonight knowing what you just said has entered my mind and will never leave. Thank you.

As well, Karie's not in that very... very tight fitting outfit. The images here and my avatar are more or less me giving Flipz a really good reason to give the Cat Suit to me.
-
You want to see it happen, I know all of you do!
-
So, yeah. One guy, a few minifigs and a camera, and this is what I decided to shoot. As well, mandatory KariexNessa images. "So, you like?" As well, just a regular image. Excuse me for a moment while I change my avatar.
-
Once again, it should go to Karie since she's going Sorceress. And I think it's unanimous that everyone here wants to see Karie in that Cat Suit!
-
Yeah, but their all male!
-
You guys know who that cat suit should go to? Karie.
-
Karie blocks Johon's attack. "I don't see where you're going with this. Any sensible person wielding a sword should know how to block."
-
One things for certain, Violetta will be in the newt! I also got to say how nifty the Cat Suit is. Would it count as body wear?
-
Precisely! The whole quest you don't know who's out there, or what's going to happen! And a majority of it takes place at night, with a pack of trained, bloodthirsty Gnolls on your tail. I may have to plan this one out actually...
-
Well Waldurk is supposedly haunted, isn't it? One could easily mess with the compass. Or am I just making stuff up?
-
Before I was set on the story arc I'm doing now, the arc I had in mind involved a marauding group of Gnolls who were terrorizing the area around the Waldurk forest. The party would have been led by a Lion Knight captain who's hired the hero's to assist in protecting a town from a planned raiding party. Before you even reach the shores of Draida bay, the man rowing you out to mainland stops off shore and tells you to swim the rest of the way to shore. He's too terrified of what's in the area to actually go any further! Later on, in the dead of night, the party comes across an overturned wagon, with the soldiers and merchants all dead, and ripped to shreds. I still have the urge to do it, since the whole quest is paranoia fuel, not knowing if the voice your hearing ahead is a woman in distress, or a Gnoll raiding party, waiting to rip you to shreds. If you're interested, I've got my next quest aimed at lower leveled characters! Also, I'm glad to hear you're still having a good time! The story's holding up really good, and I like where this is going Sandy!
-
Then you'll be happy to hear that the entirety of my first story arc is going to be literally a love letter to that game! The individual quests will vary heavily from the game, since I don't remember there being a jailbreak in the game (except in the Great Boggly tree, but that was different), but the whole idea is very similar to the game. I have even conceived my "Shadow Queen" boss, if that's what you'd like to call it. I'm also up in the air about what to do after A Secret Under Eubric (which also begins sign ups tomorrow!). The three options are: -Follow up to A Secret Under Eubric involving a jailbreak, very stealth oriented. -Follow up to A Secret Under Eubric involving finding a mysterious artifact, scary as all hell. -Follow up to Grim Grinning Ghost, involving Violet and Aldus's wedding, comedic in tone. Any thoughts?

Sorry, you mentioned how Sorrow in a suit would look like Slenderman, so I made a reference to Slender: The Eight Pages. I was hoping you'd get it.*scratches Slender off of his list of things to reference in Heroica. Hovers over Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door* I can still use you yet...
-
Someone needs to put 8 notes about Heroica Hall for when Sorrow returns!

I was waiting for you to finish up with your analysis, so I'll give you a short answer and a long answer. Short answer: Quest was awesome! Long answer: I had a blast during the quest! I like how it was sort of open-world, sort of not, as in we could go just about anywhere, but the there was a clear area we were supposed to go to. I like how the decisions we made affected the quest later on, in particular Craw Fee. Had we not paid him off, he might not of even been in the fight with Marty! However, doing so gave us info on what was going on around town. The side quest was fun, if not a little macabre. Going out and murdering two individuals, only to kill their doppelgangers instead! The NPC's were fun too. Marty, the Po Brother's and Fleur stick out to me as the highlight NPC's of the quest. Now, I do have a few gripes, and they are relatively minor, and it reflects more on my personal play style more than anything else. I never thought timed events worked well in RPG's, especially over the internet. It felt almost as if the time was reflected more on how long the quest had gone IRL, as opposed to in game time. Quest 14 did this spectacularly, having each area take half a day, or however long it took. I think you could have implemented something like that, such as it take 15 minutes to get from district to district, and going through districts A and B to get to C takes 30 minutes. Just a suggestion. My other gripe was the loot. Not that I'm upset with it, it's just their felt like too many unique items were handed out. The Newt related items I felt were fine, because they were earned through PC interactions and roleplay, and the fact that lets face it, when will we ever get that many innuendos into one quest again? I felt the perhaps one of the Harbor Guards could have dropped a shield, and one of the advanced guards dropped a halbred, but that might be me being stingy! All in all, it was a great quest Danny, probably one of my favorites, it was a pleasure to be on, and I can't wait to see what you have in store! Also, yes, Flipz's take on Karie and Nessa was amazing! Once again, I'm waiting for fan mocs! The KariexNessa shipping needs to stick around people!

Pull out the Wind Waker, conduct the wind song, and off you go! ...Wait, hold on a minute...
-
Karie watches as Romulus runs off. She wondered what was going on back at the hall. "What's his deal? Does he do that often?" Karie could tell Nessa was struggling with the staff. The only thing she could do was smile and face-palm.
-
Karie holds the staff in a few different positions, trying to get the best hold on it. "Sure, you're the expert." Karie readies her stance, waiting for Johon's first move.
-
Karie rubbed Nessa's back. "There's no reason to get upset. What's passed has passed. I'm certain she'd at least be proud you got the opportunity to ride one of these things." The dragon lands near an unfinished house near a pristine lake. Karie back flips off the dragon and helps Nessa down. "So, let me get this straight, I help you guys with stealth, and you guys help me by being being more awesome? I can live with that. To be straight, I'm not he greatest at teaching stuff, but I can attempt to teach you some basics." A strange ethereal letter appears in front of her. She cautiously opens the letter and reads it over. "Excuse me for one second, seems as if a new quest just popped up on the quest board." Taking a pen out, she signs the notice for Quest 70: The Syndicate, Karie Alderflask "Anyone else wish to sign?"
