OOC: I should be down 200 gold. Everything else is good. Karie makes her way to the Town Watch building, an impressive edifice to say the least. "Good evening Lieutenant, the name's Karie, Karie Alderflask. I guess I'm present, so yeah. I heard it was quite party down at the theatre last night!" She wasn't used to the formality of the Town Watch. At least they were meeting their employer face to face, and not the employer's assistant.
-
Karie swipes the cat suit out of the strange beings hands. "Thank you good sir, you're a gentleman and a scholar! I hope you feel better, and I would stick around but I've got to run!" Karie takes the Cat Suit and gives the fellow 200 gold, with the promise of 200 gold later. She then makes her way to the quest board and notices her name on the quest she signed up for. "Romulus, your task is to fix the door while I'm gone. I'll see you around." She mockingly salutes him and heads out the door.
-
"That's a question, and I said no questions asked. Fine, if you must know it's Karie. Now are you taking my money or not?" Karie was growing impatient. This was after all a high quality cat suit, something she had only heard of but never seen. She didn't even know what she was going to do with it, but deals like this only came once in a blue moon.
-
Karie notices the ad for the catsuit and a broad smile spreads across her face. She heads up to the man selling it and slams her sack of coins on the bar. "How much you selling that catsuit for? I'll pay you 200 now, and 200 later. No questions asked. Deal?"
-
"Hold on, I'll get some drinks and some tools. I'm no handyman, but I know enough to get this door fixed!" Karie leaves for a couple of minutes and begins to rummage about the hall for tools, eventually finding the storage closet filled with tools. She then goes up to the bar maid and grabs four bottles of Chuckola Cola and returns to Romulus. "It's a little strong, kind of like a cream soda with an extra kick, but its good." Karie begins to inspect the doors. "The nails are almost off, and the hinges are broken. I've got a few here, and the nails are the same make as the ones used for the door. Here, hold the door up, I'll nail the new hinges in."

Heroica RPG- Quest #71: A Secret Under Eubric

The party quickly retreats behind them, making their way through the narrow sewer line. After a brief walk, the party stops as the path turns right. The voices seem to have disappeared. "Well then. That was close... I'm certainly their still slinking around here, so lets keep a low voice." Right or back? -
Karie noticed the delay on the quest she had signed up for. "Must be one hell of a party. Almost makes me wish I was there. Stupid theatre being so hard to find..." The sun was boiling hot, and Karie could feel the incoming thirst. She didn't crave alcohol at the moment though. "Why don't we go inside? It's probably cooler in there. Who knows, maybe the hall has a supply of Chuckola Cola on hand." Karie got up and stretched. She then got up and reentered the hall, noticing the broken door. "Someone really ought to fix this blasted thing. The doors are practically off their hinges!"

Allow me to explain, since I may not have been clear. Party Leader has final say as to where the group goes, but since Bricksandpants is busy, as long as you both are in agreement, I'll move you along when I can. I have a life too! -

The party investigates the "door", only to find that it's a passageway that has been boarded up. "There's no point in taking down the wood. I'd suspect the city has boarded it up as a precaution to avoid the Wolfgang from using it as an entrance to the upper streets. A few of the older buildings in the city had entrances into the sewers incase of another Orc invasion, people were that paranoid. Just boldly state where you three would like to go, and let's move away from these voices!" -

"If you lot are prepared, then let us begin our descent into the sewers!" Abbot walks over to the manhole and produces a dull key from his pocket. After getting the lock off, he motions for the party to assist to assist him in lifting the manhole cover off. Together, they lift the cover up and lean it against the building. Abbot goes over to one of the chest and pulls out a lantern which he lights with a match. He hands it to Johon. The party and Abbot then make their way into the sewers. "Hmm. Those wooden planks suggest that the area's being used for travel. We're probably not alone down here..." Suddenly the party can hear faint voices in the distance. The party can't pin point where they are coming from though. "I thought you knew the short cut to the armory!" "Hey, it's not my fault we're lost! Lizzie, keep up will you!" "Look, I'm trying and all but I'm afraid I'll step in something awful!" "Blast. I was hoping we'd get through this uninterrupted by an potential threats, but that seems unlikely now. We can head left, right, straight, or behind us. I should note that the Town Watch has been cracking down on sewer travel after incidents involving the Wolfgang. Due to the grates they've put up, we may run into a dead end. For now though, lets try and avoid whoever is down here. Which way shall we go?" -
It wasn't intentional. I just thought the outfit looked appropriate for Karie, what with the cape and the black jeans. I guess Valentine and Karie go to the same tailors!

"Of course! I forgot to mention, you may be wondering why a party wasn't chosen. I had to rush out of my house quickly and didn't have time to think it through, so I was considering Johon as party leader. Now then, once we're ready, we'll head into the sewers." "I must say, your curiosity surprises me, the three of you! I wish my students were as inquisitive as you lot. Moon Elves have much paler skin, that and their eyes are distinctly different from most races. Like your traditional elves, Moon Elves have pointy ears and live much longer lives than the average human. There are still Moon Elves out and about the world, but they are few, and far between. The whole race kind of went kaput after their homeland sunk. Are there any more questions, or are we ready to head out?" -
Here's Sorceress Karie (which she will be going once she hits level 15):

What a devilishly great idea! I really love it when literature does body swapping properly! It can be a great character moment, as well as incredibly entertaining! While on the topic of body swapping, I have a quest planned that's based on the Cremia Ranch invasion from Majora's Mask. The party protects the livestock from waves of oncoming alien invaders trying to steal all of the livestock, and potentially the players! One of the enemies is the Alien Infiltrator, which Alien Karie just so happens to be. The special gives the Alien Infiltrator the same look, weapon bonus, and positive status effects as the player who rolled it to them. So let's say Nessa rolled Special, and the Alien Infiltrator changes their appearance to that of Nessa's. On top of the benefits the Alien Infiltrator gets from disguising themselves as the affected player, there's a 50/50 chance that Nessa's hit instead of the Alien Infiltrator if it's attacked by anyone else in the party but Nessa. I hope that's not too confusing to understand!

It's only a matter of time before Sandy uses all these alternate reality/ career choices that the heroes could have made/ could have been and runs a battle with them. *winkwinknudgenudge*

Undead McCaffery: Just... yes. Also, totally rolling with Alien Karie as ONE of Karie's many different alternate universe counterparts. The Karie everyone knows and loves (to abuse ) is Karie Prime, or the one all others deviate from. So in all honesty, as long as the characters the same, we could see Black Knight Karie, Town Watch Karie, Necromancer Karie, heck, even Gender Bent Karie!

Haha! No. The Tardis from Doctor Who is a blue police box with a flashing light on it. And sorry 71ers, I couldn't resist taking a jab at MLP! I promise, first and last time you'll see a reference to the show! No you won't!

"I know! I especially detest those blasted one's that insist that somehow there's a world full of neon, talking equines. Drives me up the wall. I actually denounced my friendship to a scholar because of his belief in it! That and the one's who've claimed to have seen some blue box with a flashing light on top. Ferdinand Gregovitch has to be one of the worst scholars I've ever had the misfortune to meet." -
You guys want alternative outfits! Here's non-canon alien infiltrator Karie! Yeah, in an alternate universe, Karie's actually an alien spy, sent to Olegaia to start the alien invasion. She's that good of an actress.

For all we know a portal to the inter-dimensional plane created by a race talking squirrel people could be sitting down there. Not that it's significance would be important.
