  1. Karie shakes her head. "Didn't even know about it until after she passed away."
  2. Annienal fiddles in the back and puts on her Lethauros Fellwings in place of her Lucostoid Greaves. "Um... give me a minute... I'm busy doing strategic stuff..."
  3. Karie motions the newbie over to the bar, slapping a nearby stool. "Oi! New guy! Over here! You arrived at an inopportune moment, and I'd advise you to avoid the elf and the bearded guy sitting in the corner." Karie nods her head in the direction of the two bickering people to the new cleric.
  4. I don't know about you guys, but I kind of want Guilds of Historica and Heroica to be it's own separate things. Dr. Windus could be from a Kaliphilm-esque area, meaning Salmanda or Farzibar would be your best bet, seeing how they sort of match the desert areas of that house. I don't think we've had heroes from that area either. Also, welcome to the game, Windusky!
  5. Bwahaha! That was great! I'm now more in love with the Eleventh Doctor figure. The Daleks look a lot better too!
  6. Super impressed with the set. It's even got Eleven's fez! I can't find a lot of faults with the build. It's a well done looking Tardis, and the selection of characters is impressive. The Daleks are well built, and the Weeping Angel is really cool. I'm a little disappointed in the Twelfth Doctor's outfit, as it's really situational without the bow tie, but I can see the inclusion of it since it's the one used before Eleven regenerates into Twelve, although perhaps the inclusion of the bow tie would've made it better. Speaking of Eleven, the best figure, hands down, is the Eleventh Doctor. I was really shocked when I saw Matt's character in the set picture, and it's a stupendous figure. It just oozes personality, and it's got a lot of what makes that doctor memorable in the design. I hope Lego does more with this license and I hope this set sells well, because it's a gold mine of excellent set ideas. However, if we only get one, I'm glad it's this well put together.
  7. "I was referring to being a mother and also in another organization, but holding onto others things is something I've done before." Karie replies, finishing her drink as Skrall finishes his second. She nods solemnly as Skrall tells the name of the General he met. She then looks around, ensuring nobody else was listening in on their conversation. "I don't think they even realize at this point by the more they feud, the more they play into Ulric's hand. Well... um... I'm Violetta's younger sister. Needless to say, I have my reasons for not wanting the man who sent my sister to her grave in power." Karie mournfully replies. She orders another drink and begins to divulge into her new glass of alcohol.
  8. So you have. I've added it to your inventory, but it still doesn't make you invisible. The Temple of Helvetia Party "*sniff* He's small, and cute, and fluffy, and I, and I..." She continues to cry as her words become jumbled. The Residential Area Party "Fine, fine. I understand." Wighty replies. He gets a jittery look in his eye when Sorrow brings up the name Frey. "I'm sorry, no, generally one doesn't like running into Frey. He apparently only roams the town at night though, and he rushes back to his house before dawn. Sorry, mate."
  9. Annienal felt taken back. How long was Wally spying on Heroica, and more importantly her? She nervously watched as Wally ascends to parts unknown. She began questioning herself and whether or not Wally was right. "I don't believe you." Annienal murmurs to herself. "I, um... don't think this is a fight we can win." Annienal replies, anxiety coursing through her words. "We could always, um, make a run for it... running would be good, actually..."
  10. "Don't believe so, why?" Karie asks quizzically before giving Skrall a perplexed look as he asks about her biased opinion. "Yes, I know, I'm asking you which Wolfgang General you met." Karie noticed Nerwen and Pretzel talking in her corner, with Pretzel sitting in her seat. It seemed Nerwen was still about ready to strangle Pretzel, but at least the two's argument had died down a bit.
  11. I see no such item in your inventory. Either that or I'm going senile. The Temple of Helvetia Party Vindsval dips his fingers in the cold, but clear water. It seemed to be normal water, but the witch could see various glistening coins laying in it's stony depths. The young girl sniffled as Vindsval approached her. "*sniff* I've-I've lost my bestest fwiend, and I don't know where to find him!" The Residential Area Party Wighty looks at Sorrow curiously before seeming to clue things together. "Oh, shoot! I forgot about that! Here, take the money due on my tab and tell Stine it won't happen again." Wighty delivers to Sorrow a small jingling purse with a bony hand. "My tab of seventy gold. That being said, can I interest you in anything before I close up shop?" Sorrow(Endgame) *Party Leader* 428 years old undead Necromancer Level 30.5 *Immune to Sealed, Afraid, and Doomed* Power: 57 (30+2+25) Defense: 8 Health: 41/41(7+29+5) Ether: 34/34 (30+4) Gold: 542
  12. Karie rolls her eyes at Lind's prophesying of doom and gloom. "Gods, sometimes I wish I could get drunk, but then I remember I have responsibilities." Karie sighs melancholic. Karie raises an interested eyebrow. "Which one?"
  13. Karie's had worse. Every time she's encountered the hexed negative effect, she's been hit with it.
  14. I don't know about you guys, but more Lupin the Third is a good thing, and with the upcoming series looming nearer and nearer, I really can't wait to see this show! It's apparently been thirty years since Lupin got his own show, and if the films I've seen are any indication of how fun this franchise can be, I honestly can't wait! The opening also looks great! Check it out!
  15. The East Gate Party Stine looks confused as he rummages through his basket. "When did we start getting gold ones..." Diane nods in approval, grinning and seeming fascinated by her new state of being. "Yup, everything's going alright so far. It's a little weird, not feeling my pulse anymore. That and I can't really breath in air anymore, but hey, better than being dead, right?" "For now at least. Um... would cutting off my head keep me alive? You're a necromancer, right? You got an answer for that? If I got impaled, would that kill me?" Diane seemed to have a lot of questions about her new state of being. Stine merely rolled his eyes. The two decide to head out, with Stine wishing them the best in their hunt and Diane cheering them with a raise of her glass. Geoffrey said nothing. The Residential Area Party Sorrow(Endgame) *Party Leader* 428 years old undead Necromancer Level 30.5 *Immune to Sealed, Afraid, and Doomed* Power: 57 (30+2+25) Defense: 8 Health: 41/41(7+29+5) Ether: 34/34 (30+4) Gold: 462 428 years old undead Necromancer Equipment: Sticky Gloves (Increases the amount of gold stolen by 50% (rounded up), suitable for rogues and beast warriors; handwear),Pink Ribbon (Max Ether +3, grants immunity to sealed, afraid, and doomed; accessory), Staff of the Supreme Necromancer (WP:25; damages undead; +5 level to raised undead; suitable to necromancers; staff) Inventory: Reaper’s Scythe (WP:33, damages only humanoids; suitable to assassins only; scythe), Shark Jaw Scythe (WP 20/40 vs. aquatic monsters; scythe), Longsword (WP: 5), Dark Cloak (SP:1, Max Health +1, Power +1, suitable for rogues and barbarians; backwear), Archer's Hat (Power +1, suitable for rangers; headwear), Disguise Kit (Allows the user to disguise them self as the opposite gender; accessory), Helmet (Max. The area's less noisy and packed as it was earlier, although it might of had something to do with the time of day. It was now evening, and the setting sun casted a warm glow over the town as some of the population began to retire for the evening. It seemed as if Wighty was packing up for the evening, his stall's wares being packed into a large chest. Reaching the building, he noticed the church seemed to be a converted mausoleum. The doors were wide open, and a scrawny skeletal man in robes stood on the crooked flag stones leading up to the building. A young undead girl solemnly lingered around the fountain, looking about ready to cry. 16. Not going to shoot down the idea, but amnesiacs are old hat. I just find it's not very interesting. There's way more interesting character types to choose from that allow evil races to be in a good aligned party. Characters who were adopted into a church and brought up to worship a good aligned deity, or perhaps never encountered their own race are better alternatives, and they work better in RP, too.
  17. "This is exactly revenge, Wally." Annienal replies, her courage being somewhat bolstered for once. "You're using the actions of a small group to represent an entire organization. I don't believe a single person has died today because of us. The only thing we've defeated were your automatons." "I don't think I'd answer that question, particularly when it comes to someone who hides behind others." Annienal responds, raising her usually soft spoken voice. "You send your automatons out to do your own work for you, Wally. You don't put yourself in harms way, you use your robots to, um, do so."
  18. Annienal has Wolfgang rep too... hmm... decisions, decisions... Beast Warrior could also work for Annienal...
  19. "Huh, says a lot about Immortalis, or whatever that stupid dragon's name was." Karie snickers.
  20. "Neither do I, but still, let's not make a bigger scene." Karie continues to consume her drink with larger gulps. "Wolfgang? Why? I've got a... bit of a biased opinion of them, and I wouldn't call my opinion of Ulric a good one. He's certainly charismatic though."
  21. The Crescent Union, particularly the Shadeux, probably won't abolish the contracts with the orcish slaves they have in servitude to them. That's probably the reason Kukulkan went to Ulric.
  22. Karie covers the side of her face with her hand and turns to Skrall. "Look away. I think they've spotted us."
  23. Karie notices Skrall behind her. She could say something about what happened in Moone but she decides against it. She was running out of good company, and she at least understood Skrall's desire to side with Vorpalis. She'd been in a similar situation once before. She shrugs, looking from Skrall to the ensuing argument and pointing at the various individuals. "From what I've gathered the monk has apparently betrayed Nerwen in some matter, and now desires to be rid of the monk. I have no clue how Lind fits into all this." Karie sips on her drink.
  24. Karie meanders up to the bar and orders a drink, watching the action unfold. "Just another day at Heroica Hall...", she muses to herself.
  25. "If you got to talk to Monk Pretzel, go ahead of me. It seems you two need to talk." Karie stepped back, hoping this scenario wouldn't play out the same way if Lawrence was involved.
