  1. The Feeling - A Hundred Sinners (Come And Get It)
  2. The trailer didn't show him for little more than fleeting glimpses, but someone was able to get this excellent screenshot of Ronan:
  3. This list certainly sounds promising, and I'm glad to see the impending return of the normal CMFs again. I'm particularly excited for the Dino Tracker at this stage, though I'm sure pictures will change things when they eventually arrive.
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5msNnBeeMTQ Here's another link for those who cannot view the trailer due to the original video having become private.
  5. Guilty Crown is done now, and I have to admit that it wasn't as good as I had hoped, but certainly wasn't a bad series either. The characters were, for the most part, very well developed and had plenty of parts to play throughout the series, though naturally some characters received the short end of the stick, so to speak. The plot was pretty good, but oddly paced at times, yet also relatively easy to understand as well. The action in the series, particularly that involving the vastly overpowered main character, was epic to watch but - due to the sheer power of the main character - the action mostly lacks intensity until the final few episodes; Attack On Titan still sets the bar for anime combat for me, with its mixture of epicness and intensity being practically perfect. The only thing that disappointed me during this series was the massive drop in quality between episodes 14 and 18. Were it not for the brilliant final four episodes, my opinion of this series would probably be much more negative. In all honesty, they probably could have ended this series at episode 13, but decided not to and continued, turning the main character into more of a jerk than King Joffrey (something which I had no idea was possible) which was just one of numerous disappointments in episodes 14-18. I'm relieved that it improved at the very end so that I didn't finish this on a sour note, though the ending was a rather sad one in the context of the series. Next up is Love, Chunibyou and Other Delusions, after I rewatch all of Future Diary again.
  6. We've been waiting for it, and here it is: the new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy. I'll be honest, I didn't think I could get more excited for this, but this trailer has thrown my excitement levels through the roof! I honestly can't wait for this; it's going to be epic!

  8. Here's another teaser for the full trailer, one which may particularly interest Ultron, as we get to hear Rocket speak this time:
  9. It's not much as of yet, but here is a preview of the upcoming second trailer for GoTG. Even this new footage is enough to massively raise my excitement levels, because this looks absolutely amazing!
  10. Wow. That trailer looks pretty epic, though I think that Flash's running effects look quite odd. Even so, I'm very excited, especially as Arrow is appearing in this as well. Does anyone know when this will start airing in the UK and if it will tie into the DCCU in any way?
  11. ^ Let's hope we do see more of the villains and just see some more action in general this time to sway the doubters (numerous friends of mine aren't convinced that this will be good based on the trailer). The trailer is apparently being released at 10am PST (AKA PDT), which is 6pm in the UK, for anyone who wants to know.
  12. Marvel have announced that a new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy is to be released on Monday, and revealed this new poster: Thoughts?
  13. The Batman suit may look more comic-like, but I can't bring myself to like the short ears or the unnecessarily fat Bat logo on the chest. I suppose it could have been done far, far worse though, so this isn't too bad. As for that Batmobile, I'm really liking the look of it. I'm glad that they're going for a more old-fashioned, less realistic look for the Batmobile this time; I like the Tumbler as much as the next guy but I much prefer a classic Batmobile look like this one to the semi-realistic approach of the Tumbler. Hopefully the design choices for Wonder Woman and Cyborg are of a similar quality as well.
  14. Falling In Reverse - Tragic Magic
  15. It took me way longer than I had actually expected, but I have finally finished Steins;Gate. I had heard it was brilliant before I had watched it, but I was still pleasantly surprised by its excellence. The plot, despite often being highly confusing and frequently using terms which I do not understand, was excellently played out and equally excellently presented. I can guarantee that you will be confused a lot during the show, particularly early on, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. In this case, having it be confusing makes suspension of disbelief far easier than if the plot was simply understood. The only issue I had with the plot of the show at all was near the end of the series, where the plot seemed to be deliberately dragging on, before adding on an additional plot thread seemingly for the sake of it. Even so, the series ended well, making use of a purposeful OVA rather than an entirely useless one as seen in most other animes. The characters in the series are also excellently developed and presented and all make the series more enjoyable in their own way. For instance, the main character is a self-proclaimed mad scientist who acts as one would expect from a mad scientist, which makes things highly enjoyable. Overall, this is an excellent series which balances confusion and overly-complex scientific terminology with equivalent levels of fun and seriousness. And hey, I learned more about the ideas behind time travel and its consequences than I have from watching Doctor Who for the past 8 years. As for what's coming next for me, it will probably be Guilty Crown, which I should be able to start tomorrow.
  16. Noel Galagher's High Flying Birds - The Death of You and Me
  17. I don't really understand why they felt the need to make Donnie's design so crowded with things. The other Turtles by comparison seem far more understated and less crowded in terms of design. Frankly, Donnie doesn't need all of that stuff on, at least not all at once, and I seriously hope his facial expression isn't like that for the whole movie.
  18. I'll be brutally honest here: that Gotham trailer makes it look dull. Extremely dull. Sure, it's nice that they're looking at a period in Bruce Wayne's life which is least focused on, but it helps to make it look interesting. Not only that, the trailer implies that Bruce Wayne himself isn't too involved anyway. It could be good, but that trailer is not promising IMO.
  19. This is the news I have been waiting so long for! Gen 3 was where things began for me with Pokémon, and Emerald is still my favourite Pokémon game to this date (it would be X if there was more to do after the story is completed), so I'm very happy that I get the chance to relive these games in 3D and with all the new Pokémon. Plus, Groudon is still one of my favourite legendaries, so I can't pass up an opportunity to catch it again.
  20. Linkin Park - Until It's Gone
  21. I watched the old Disney Tarzan in preparation for the inevitably dreadful live action remake (that I will absolutely not watch 'cos it looks so bad). It was a good movie, with the classic Disney approach present enough to make the film good but not too much to make it overly cliché. It was good to see such balance in Disney films, especially considering how some of the more modern Disney films (mainly the musicals) have become overly cliché in recent years, but have been of a higher quality despite that This is still good though, and probably deserves more acknowledgement than it actually receives.
  22. ^ Unfortunately not. In this case many people seem quite unhappy bout the film's existence at all, from what I have seen people saying about this here and elsewhere on the internet. However, I have n problem with this film myself and am eagerly looking forward to seeing the Turtles come to life on the big screen for the first time that I've chosen to pay attention to (I never bothered with the 2007 film and never saw any of the previous films either). Let's just hope plenty of people give it a chance when it is released to show people that the TMNT brand is still alive and kicking.
  23. I really like the look of the Turtles now that we've seen them more up-close-and-personal like this, but Donnie's lips are terrible and really quite unnecessary. The lips don't exactly look great on the others either, but at least they aren't as obviously as Donnie's in that picture. The movie does look like great fun, but there will inevitably be people who despise it simply because it isn't exactly the same as "their version" of the Turtles (ie, blinded by nostalgia to anything new). To each their own though.
  24. ^ Those would be seriously amazing if they were actually real, but it is still sad to say that Super Heroes CMFs, as awesome as they would be, will probably never get made. Let's just hope instead that TLG continues to provide good character variety in these sets (well, most of the time at least).
