  1. Nit-pick :-P
  2. Why would Amazon poke your eye
  3. Actually a Favorites function does exist: Under "Options" on the top right corner, right below "Add reply" and "New Topic", you can "Track this topic". You then find it in your Control panel ("My Controls" on the top right under the banner) under "Subscriptions". The same way you can also subscribe to the entire forum. It even offers notifications. Same thing as favorites.
  4. Cool, windows with bullet holes...
  5. Who?
  6. Forget the center in Berlin, I went through in 10 minutes. It only took that long cos it took me one minute to get downstairs (it's "underground"), 8 minutes to take pictures of the miniland (which is a miniture Berlin - nice, but "just" another miniland), and another minute to look around the store with a small PaB and no sales. The center is a check-in, a small miniland, a few tables for kids to build stuff, a small food court (very small, right next to the building tables), a small dragon ride, a small theater with the same movies as in the LEGOLAND parks and a store. All underground, so no loopings or anything for the ride (it looked like it went in a circle anyway, dunno, I didn't go). At least they let me in for free with the LEGOLAND annual pass I got in G
  7. "Duh... me walrus." Very clever...
  8. I think this one was bigger. We discussed it here...
  9. From the bid history: "eBay has changed how bid history information is displayed for higher-priced items. To help keep the eBay community safe, enhance bidder privacy, and protect our members from fraudulent emails, only you and the seller of the item can view your User ID in bid history. Other members will see anonymous names." In Germany/Austria "higher-priced" starts at 100 Euro.
  10. Whiners... :-| First people complain and want TLC to go back to the roots. Now they do, and people complain again. Those are starter sets, and I think they're cool starter sets. So, there.
  11. Ha! Guilty pleasure: I love movies featuring Dolph Lungren! :-$ But Universal Soldier...hmmm...I don't remember a wood chipping scene in that. I remember one with Steve Buscemi in Fargo! *sweet* To me it looks like a big red swan with a skeleton up its a$$...

  14. VIPs and Honorary Citizens are the same. The group name is Honorary Citizen and the group icon says VIP, simply because it's shorter. I updated the group thread for your convenience. You try to retire and everything ends in confusion. Can't leave them kids alone...
  15. Welcome to EB, hinckley39! Nice ship, I like the way you found use for that baseplate. I always wondered what else but landscaping you could build with it. Classic Space minifig - excellent *y* Nice greeblies (the 1x2 white brick on the 1x4 plate), simple but effective. Other than that I agree with Asuka... Enjoy your stay at EB!
  16. Seems somebody was upset and set LEGOLAND Windsor on fire...
  17. Interesting...

According to amazon.de 7731 is a Postauto which translates to "mail car" or "mail van" 7732 is a Postflugzeug which translates to "mail (cargo) plane" and 7734 is a Frachtflugzeug which translates to "cargo plane" (that was clear anyway). The others I couldn't find, and everything else is already in the 2008 list thread...
  19. You all assume Kevin will charge on a monthly basis. That would mean he has to reconfigure your account every time you pay or you don't. The most I could imagine is a half year and an annual subscription. Anything else doesn't make sense and would surprise me...
  20. FP edited, and posted right before you ;-) Edit: Topics merged.

  22. I don't have a problem with BS news, I wanna see where it goes. IMHO all the ruckus the last week created was good cos it showed the community what it actually has in BS. It sure did that for me. It even made me post here although I have other things on my mind. But since LEGO is my biggest hobby it affected me. I won't judge the fee before I see what the "premium features" will be. Fortunately $60 (about EUR 47) a year is something I can afford easily. I know for some people it's more than it is to me but we don't know yet what those 60 bucks will offer. If it's not worth it I won't pay it, either. I can afford it, but I don't want to throw it out the window. What I'd like to see, though, is a pic size restriction (dimensions and file size) for non-paying users. That should keep away those blurry 3000x2000 Bionuckle pics. I could live with that, too, if I decided not to pay for premium features. We'll see... Paris is a very nice city. I didn't stay at the Hilton, though, so I can't say anything about it...
