  1. Thank god...
  2. Yep, down to the bullet holes in the windows...
  3. Yep. Had it for two days or so, but since I never actually saw the wallpaper I took it down again. I like the real model better anyway...
  4. Well, I barely see my desktop when I use my computer so I don't really see the use of a wallpaper image....
  5. Boring. And cowardly.
  6. Firstly, this board software isn't open source. We can't rewrite anything. You can ask the people at invision, though. Secondly, do you have Java Script turned off? If so, try turning it on...
  7. We do that occasionally. We call it "stone age day". It's supposed to let everybody feel how it used to be "back in the day" when we didn't have internet or cell phones and the like...
  8. You like what? *wacko* That's ok, it happens...
  9. I'll even change it to "Teutoburger Wald" ;-)
  10. There will be the time when you realize that a castle without a train just isn't complete...
  11. There's Star Wars LEGO? 8-|
  12. Actually I have a mixed layout in mind. I grew up the same way you did, mixing everything I had (which wasn't that much, mostly Castle and 4.5V Train). And today I collect all of the classic themes just because I like them. And thus I want to set up a "Time Travel Layout". The main part is a present day city/town, with sets mostly from the 80s and 90s and similar MOCs/MODs. This city includes a container harbor with adjacent container terminal for trains, a marina, big train station, off shore rig, research vessel with under water research facility, airport, shuttle port for the research facility on the moon (i.e. Classic Space), and everything else the 80s and early 90s offered. Trains would include the 7740 as the inter city train and other 80s and 90s favorites. Track is 12V for cargo trains (because of 7760) and 9V for passenger trains. From this city a passenger train (the Santa Fe) would travel through time once a week. After leaving Present Day it would arrive in the 70s, comprised by a few sets from that time for the passengers to admire. From there it's onward to the 1930s/40s, or Indy's and Johnny Thunder's time. Here passengers can use the time during the stop to go on a short bi-plane flight (not included in the ticket). Next the train would arrive in the Wild West, the gate of Fort Legoredo acting as some sort of gateway through time. BM's Legoredo Station would be the perfect station. A drink at the local saloon is included with the ticket, so are two chips for a poker game. After the Wild West come Pirates Times, passing ITP and Eldorado Fortress. Passengers optionally can purchase a guided tour through the mysterious lagoons. From there the train continues through the medieval ages, passing a few old castles and medieval villages. After a snack in the village pub (included in the ticket) the journey goes back home. I just lack the room at the moment...
  13. Thanks everybody! Didn't really feel well on my birthday but the presents made up for it. They weren't all LEGO but I got a MIB 6370 from my wife and lots of other cool stuff. And the cub had an exceptionally good day :-)
  14. They are...
  15. iamded, Batbrick, this is not a conversation topic like the others. Cut down on the spam. Thx.
  16. It is for tigers.
  17. He only replaces standard bricks, most important are the special parts (like the 2x2 windows for the passengar cars or several blue pieces for the 7760).
  18. I saw this on ebay shortly ago. Check out the video link in the description...
  19. Dammit, we had this discussion about umpteen times before :-| If you noticed it you'd know where it is, wouldn't you? How else would you have noticed it? Anyway, we had one, we don't anymore. Because it attracts spammy kids (like we didn't have enough) and is a pain to maintain and mod. So, no. No chat. Never ever. Period. End of discussion. >:-(
  20. Time to close this silly spam fest.
  21. The web space is at its limit and it seems the server doesn't accept any more uploads. We're working on a solution but that'll take some time. As iamded already said, please use a link to an image hosting site in the meantime.
  22. Yeah, I saw that. And I was impressed. I still am. Cos that's how I pictured it should be and wanted to mod mine, but I'm totally inept at modding :-$
  23. Not possible, this forum software doesn't support this.
  24. Great, same crap as with 4404, only that wasn't 120 Euros :-|
