2.2360679775 Squared Need a group of survivors in the apocalypse? Looks like you've found the wrong group! This merciless band of survivors are the most merciless. If that doesn't terrify you enough, then read the equally ghoulish introductions to these characters that may or may not show up in a future build for this exact contest! Dale - The sniper of the crew, upon the crisis of many sniper problems, he's figured out the solutions to all of them. Dale was legally blind but upon discovering 20/20 vision glasses, he could see clearly. Another complaint of many was if a zombie walked up behind you and tried eating you, nothing would protect you. Alas, Dale made a shield to protect his precious spinal cord. Among this, he added a grappling gun on his shoulder to get out of tricky situations. Unless he's in the middle of a field then he's actually quite unprepared. Kate - The mechanic of the crew who is ironically named. Though bearing striking resemblances, her hard work often proves well worth any frustrations with her arrogance. To many, her weapon is just a revolver; little did the doubters know that she's made a fully automatic revolver! Often left alone on scouting runs, she enjoys her time with her robotic crab N.O.R.B.E.R.T. which isn't an acronym. She just likes the name Norbert but doesn't want anyone thinking the name doesn't have further meaning. Tim Bateman - The bait. This newcomer is absolutely void of fear. The cook of the crew is by far the member with the most composure in situations, I mean, look at that face! No worries at all, right? Tim is a bit on the heavier side, but the group insists that his physical health is their number one priority. Tim feels lonely romantically so he often finds himself considering trying to take it slow with a nice zombie woman who just wants him for his companionship, not his internal organs. Greg - Demolition man with the most heart you'll never see. Greg has the same problems as every human, knocking others down when you try to take photos, falling backward when you try to take photos, and forcing the photographer to build a completely new base just to accommodate. His specialty is mining and exploding. He's got a robot arm which is cool to some people, others think it's much too flashy and that he'd be better off with just the stub. Over his shoulder is a wire, detonator dispenser thing that he connects to TNT to make a long fuse. He has a small pick-axe then he's got a tiny one on his back. Equipped with a chainsaw, an axe-blade, and a scythe. Upon learning he could efficiently mine with laser focus, Kate made him a tactical laser sight on the pick-axe. REDACTED - This militant member often falls upon earlier practices, much like censoring her real name in a zombie apocalypse. Olivia believes this group needed a leader. Her military expertise was a useful asset when first starting out. She likes to say she has the best guns of the group, though many complain about her weapons being unresourceful and usually inaccurate. She doesn't need this hate however and Oliva proves time and time again that her zombie killing skills are unparalleled. Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

That Loki is beautiful! What a great head that will hopefully become a new generic head. The main generic heads usually lack expression but thanks to the newer Captain America head they've been a bit more expressive.- 5,808 replies

Purist TV/Movie Figures

I made 11 with his purple coat just a bit more accurate. People didn't like the lack of a bow-tie then this piece showed up after everyone seemingly forgot. I like it.- 247 replies

Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
adotnamedstud replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
That Hulk looks glorious. I hope the set is colorful too. As someone who's not a fan of LEGO's Hulk and his ridiculous hair, I think the helmet is insanely well done. Though I do understand why people won't particularly like it. I don't think hate is a good word to use. When you "quit" scooping because you were wrong, it's just expected that you've admitted you and your source were wrong and don't try and redeem it. It's more frustration with the execution of it all and how everyone trusts someone who's often wrong. It's not a mistake, it's persistent attention seeking. This site was also intended for adults or people who could at least have the decency to act like an adult. We're all united by common interest for sure but the scoop game is one that people take somewhat seriously. A mistake is saying something incorrect and editing, deleting, or providing a follow-up saying you were wrong. That's all the more understandable but consistently messing up and only apologizing when you get called out it not a common mistake. I don't mean anything bad to Amazingbricks at all, he's a good user when people aren't caught up in scoops. But attention comes easy on a LEGO forum it seems.- 5,808 replies

My only problem with the set is that she doesn't get a Batman belt. She would be perfect with one! Alas, the whole marketing mishap with numerous Batgirl variations lead me to believe that there may have been a mishap with some designers?

So, the set is rumored to have an Ares build along with a plane build. Confirmed to have Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor... Nothing is confirmed without evidence I hope you guys know that. Delta may be 100%, I don't even have any problems with him and how trustworthy he is compared to others, but you should really know the difference. As you all are just starting to believe "scoops" on these sets from anyone nowadays.

Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor are confirmed. Everything else is considered speculation until we see the set or another figure.

Look, I don't trust someone who says they're done scooping after they get called out for being wrong and then makes a complete 180 with the most obvious guess ever. But that's just me. (The Report button is also a viable option for baiting.) Anyways, Steve Trevor looks FANTASTIC! Well, at least his torso print. It'll look interesting on a WWII Captain America for sure. I like the hair options with that Photoshop suggestion especially the Gordon hair, ingenious!

Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
adotnamedstud replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
There are LEGO bricks in these sets, minifigures too, wouldn't hold out on a sticker sheet. The sets will be in cardboard boxes with fancy printing all over them showing features and minifigures to accompany the main build. Is that enough for you? Just wait, it takes time for this stuff to release and being impatient about it only empowers people to also be impatient.- 5,808 replies

Trust Banjo, he's the most reliable person along with J2G. Also, according to the photo owner, Drax is grey. The lighting had manipulated the color.- 5,808 replies

He knows, he has sources like many others. Remember, just because he doesn't spout things out for attention like others (I'm guilty!), it doesn't mean he doesn't know anything. I like the green Drax, it has a much better "life" to it rather than light blue grey. Looking forward to these sets for sure! Hoping that the set designers pump out some solid sets to accompany these figures!- 5,808 replies

There's a reason you leave news to professionals so, learn from me kiddos. I did see a picture of exactly the baby mold with a new head but I guess it's since changed. Sorry about that.- 5,808 replies

Thank you for posting correct news, Delta. Really appreciate that you care about your integrity and not putting stuff out that's completely false. As that was and still seems to be an issue. As for all this exciting news of sets? I say it's about time we've gotten Thor based sets. Seems like we're getting a lot of love for one of the more underappreciated Avengers. Excited for the people who were annoyed Thor didn't get a proper helmet mold. I probably say this every year, but this wave could be something special.- 5,808 replies

Bravo! One of the better Burrows I've seen. You can definitely see the 10-day effort in the details on not only the interior but the exterior aswell. Really like the plank look on the outside!

What franchise should Lego do next?
adotnamedstud replied to frikandeloorlog's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I really think LEGO should do Destiny and Uncharted. Destiny is only rated T and while it is a FPS. I think it's fictional battles and the ever growing lore would help make great sets based on some actually really well designed set pieces. This is just a stretch however. I think LEGO could make it work. Uncharted is a largely story led game series that could really be a great theme for LEGO. The games do involve some shooting here and there but it's not a FPS game. There are actually much more fantastic scenes to use for the sets and it could very much so fit the LEGO theme formula. And the fact that we need a newer Indiana Jones-like series. -
