  1. Is it just me, or do I think LEGO should accept Superheroes, Lord of the Rings, and other already licensed ideas? I understand why they don't accept them due to the licensing companies don't want the user to make a profit off of their owned license. But the fact that we make so many good ideas on there that get 10,000 clearly showing that the fans want the set, I as a creator of a ideas set would totally just opt-out of getting a profit if that means we can have that set. This was primarily discovered after reading up about Ideas and seeing a set that gets produced, you get 5 copies of the product and 5% of the profit. If you made a licensed idea, would you opt-out of getting a profit just to have the set made? I wish LEGO had that option because we miss out on a lot of great products, aka almost everything from LotR we wanted but never got. (Some day you guys, some day. I still believe.) As a Superheroes guy, I just want heroes that the fans put in their sets. Because some have great ideas. LEGO hasn't even scratched the surface on either brand's heroes. The most obscure from each (as of 2016 so far) are Hyperion (Marvel) and Hawkman (DC).
  2. Robocop - Level Pack: Robocop, ED-209, Cop Car (Motor Cycle and Glider alt builds) Level Description: Robocop must defeat the gang of criminals in the city. Utilize the vehicle for high-speed chases using various gameplay methods from LEGO City Undercover. At the end of the level, once all the criminals are locked up or defeated you can explore the crime ridden city and stop various crimes, take down the invincible ED-209's with stairs at the OCP building headquarters and stop the corrupt business leader. The world would likely be a bit lighter than the older movies, so I think it'd use a few different things from the classic and reboot.
  3. You're on the money with the torso. The head belongs to Mary Jane.
  4. Here you go! I gave you both. And then I have this bunch Clock King, Agent Carter, and an alternate Bane.
  5. Really excited for the Gotham City Cycle chase, I'm pretty fine with getting newer Bat-Rouges. Just a matter of time until we get some indication of Talon or a CoO member in the future! I am though, pretty disappointed that it's more motor bikes. Harley getting a new Hammer Truck would be nice, or have the setting be a boat? That'd always be interesting. Any reason why DC seems to use more road based vehicle sets? I feel like we miss out a bit of content really.
  6. Dark blue!? Woot! The LEGO variant comic book covers had a dark blue cowl on Batman and he looked really great. Hope we eventually get a plain cowl as this cowl must be printed.
  7. Ah, alright. Then it's considered legal now... Odd but okay, does it damage the newer 1x1 tiles with a clip on top? I know it does it's damage to the older variations of that piece from experience.
  8. I guess I'm the only one who can dig this new cowl. The Batmobile looks splendid too. Has LEGO ever done that scanner piece technique in a set before? Seems like it's breaking their "No illegal connections" rule. Perhaps they broke that rule for the sake of detail? Maybe they'll fix it. And it could possibly be a legal connection I'm just not aware of the status.
  9. Holy... Wow! I think I'm in love! These are all just so creative! Great work!
  10. Congrats! Glad to see a larger presence of moderation!
  11. Thanks you guys! Glad you like it!
  12. Interesting head, we aren't getting a Robin racer soon(?). And it's way too early for summer sets. I don't see why this head would be in the '66 cave either, it's fairly inaccurate. Very interesting indeed.
  13. , soon
  14. Ole Kirk Christiansen
  15. Was looking for this thread, sorry for a bump. Didn't want to make another thread if an older version existed. I C E - P L A N E T - 2 0 4 5 The continuation of Ice Planet 2002. (Link to info on that if you want to know more )
  16. Hulk_Smash still saw a Joker racer.
  17. Since everyone thinks the Doctor's hair would be great on Joker, I decided to edit it. Do you think this is what we'll see this year? Hoping this isn't speculation, I'm fairly certain we'd be getting this or the old hairpiece in the racer. The hair was in the highest quality I could find. (I'm not a professional Photoshopper so don't be rude if it looks like crud.)
  18. Woo! Awesome opportunity Tim, can't wait to see even more of your presence in the forums! We might finally be civil again.
  19. He means near the end with Batman grappling off the roof and Wonder Woman doing her thing. Lex could totally do that himself though. We can't confirm who will be the larger villain but I'm fairly sure if it is Lex he'll put up a worthy battle to the Trio. Don't underestimate one of the smartest men in the DC Universe who has access to some of the best technology.
  20. I think it's fairly smart. Buying the largest and smallest set could give you pretty much everything unless there are different goons in the Batmobile set. LEGO could draw in a larger profit on the larger sets easily. And a lot of people will buy the Batmobile just because it's name alone. Some people just want Batman so that could really be their set. Seems like LEGO really wins here. Sure the distribution could be better but there are different reasons to buy each set.
  21. Well this definitely indicates you know nothing about Lex Luthor or his character! But who knows! If you're right we could get a large net full of red capes for Lex to mercilessly drop on our heroes! OOH! Or forty cakes to launch! Anyways, I'm pretty excited for these sets. Sadly it's all Batman but I'm sure there will be more builds in these sets, obviously. Unless they are all what they were described I may pick up the wave depending on when we see pictures. I'm pretty excited for this movie and their sets. I hope they fix up Lois. Just have her look like Amy Adams this time instead of Narcissa Malfoy from the Harry Potter theme. ( ) I'm actually most interested in seeing what the goons will look like. Just because we've seen like a majority of the figures already.
  22. A rumored reveal's date hasn't got anything to do with the set. With all the LotR complaints, I agree. I've been slowly becoming a fan and would love to see more. There's still a lot of things from every movie they could still cover. Which is sad because the better things are the ones they left out. Maybe we'll get lucky.
  23. Not quite sure. But now can be a good time to start!
  24. Eh, I think the fig count is fine as is. Black Cat could easily be portrayed as an antagonist much like Catwoman was. And all the traps with it. But it could go either way.
