Shame about the Galadriel minfigure, it would've been really good to get another LOTR set with some form of confirmation. With the recent posts about the video's I am starting to get my enthusiasm back towards this line. Part of me wonders if the rescheduling of the hobbit BOTFA didn't squeeze the third LOTR out by 12 months, originally they would've had the sets out for BOTFA now seeing as it was supposed to be screening in a few weeks before PJ changed his mind, so any LOTR sets may have been put on the back burner while they fleshed out the BOTFA sets given the extra time and the changes to the wave assortments that lego would have had to contend with due to PJ changing the delivery schedule... That's my hope any way.

We have had a lot of brown focused sets in the last two or so years, off the top of my head: * Ewok Village. * Jabba's sail Barge. * Duel on Geonosis. * Rancor pit (had some Brown in it, not much but enough). Perhaps we can get a Kamino set to balance all the brown out with Grey. Looking at the cross sections book, the new MTT does look a little bit more accurate than the original (less said about 2007) the better in my mind.

Not as huge fan of the MTT may have been a nice opportunity to put a few gungans in and make it worthwhile. Hoping the last exclusive isn't another UCS millennium falcon.

That set is a couple of years old and has been farmed out to everyone. Shame they don't being the sandcrawler out for people to buy... thank god for s@h.

A little vit of information would be nice, I know sdcc is a month and a bit away but that is only a few months out from them movvie release... at least last year we had the D2C orthanc and second wave of LOTR to tide us over but this year is like being on a diet...

Like the minifigs in the ISD cannot wait to see them in Australia, hopefully it is not too far away the cantina looks the pick of the bunch right now. Be interested to see if we get an AAT as I was finally able to get my hands on the original a little while ago and its in desperate need of an upgrade.

Picked up the new lego SW encyclopedia for $19 at target.

Perhaps it is, I imagine that it has been busy over the last few days. Mine has been in process for 5 days, just wish it would ship already.

I agree with both comments, lego is still a kids toy first and a collectors piece for adults second.

Apart from the original 1999 release we have had MTT, sith infiltrator some podracers. The consular ship was made around 2007. My point wss that most of the sets that come out from that movie tend to be of a certain group. More variety on the pods would be good, perhaps a bonta eve set that has a better pit area even include Jabba...

Cannot believe that set had not seen retail yet, this seems to be the norm. I grabbed mine in see December last year and it arrived mid January. Hopefully it arrives here soon as its a good set.

Episode 1 doesn't get as much love ad it probably should set wise. Podracers, naboo starfighters and sith infiltrator aside we dont get much else. I'd like to see more from lego, perhaps gungan battle packs.

They look quite cool, my son will love them!
