It is a bit that way, half glass empty approach. Personally i had bigger issues with things like Rako Hardeen not having a helmet that was in another set that could've been used. Stormies are pretty much that and i get there is a variation between the Rebels version and OT sets, personally it doesn't bother me too much. It still looks like a stormie, and as this is a kids product first, I can see Lego not being to bothered by disenfranchised adults who make up a percentage of sales but not enough to affect the overal viability of the line.

I picked up the new lego dark side book on Friday and in it was a few scenes from ESB and cloud city, not too sure if it was a MOC for the book or something more... The Bespin Luke had leg printing on him, cannot remember the last time we had a Bespin luke.

Picked up the new SW Lego book from target Melbourne CBD for $16, comes with a new emperor Palpatine.

Tusksans yes, Beru no. Don't thin it would add to the set, i'd prefer multiple tuskans with the T-16 pilot (either luke or a Biggs in a tosche station outfit).

I actually like the microfighters minifig selection possible army builders for a few of them hopefully a good parts assortment for the spare tubs I have and all will be good

Interesting those two sets as discussed above, have to wait until we see preliminaries. The hallifire would be a good update, I only grabbed the technic one 6 months ago and it was a nice build. Wonder if they are CW sets also.

Sorry it was at tru chadstone and it was a bit of a mess, they really hadn't put much of any of the new stock out. Don't remember seing the sentinel set there. MTT is supposed to be the exclusive dor this wave it doesn't appear in any of the instructions or catalogues save for the minifig page.

I think they'lk take elements of tfu and mould them into the rebels line it could be one of their bp's.

Picked up the SW MTT from tru chaddy for $150 today, had security tag on it but they grabbed a new one from out back. 1 week in the wild and all new SW sets done

The onlune thing stinks, I used to get sets OS for a while until I was told they could no longer do it after Lego notified them of their distribution arrangements...

Sometimes you just wish you could get in touch with the designers to jusy ask whst they were thinking? I dislike this keeping people away from endless discussion it would just be nice to get some answers from time to time for their set design and to let them know when things suck. That email is just a lipservice option that does nothing to improve quality of lines... disappointed in this for a final wave of a line potentially.

Thanks for the pictures, I'm not too sure the differences are all that decernible to most people, painting is slightly different, the nose on the helmet and more emphasis on one trooper compared to the other. I get your statement about the 'cartoony feel' but I think it would be a pretty hard thing to try and capture though.

Will be interesting to see comparisons.

Wow a couple of days worth of catch up on this thread and the conjecture is crazy. Personally I think I'm going to wait until October until the sets are released or pictures prior before I believe the set make up.
