Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Mosse1997 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Form the one image I have seen so far it feels like a followup from last year (more of an early iteration, not the final product) with homeages to previous sets. The palace Cinema-style enterence to the club, the red coloring from Fire Brigade. The smaller pizzeria-buidling reminds me of Markets Street, especially because of the decoration on the roof. -

10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery Discussion
Mosse1997 replied to Vilhelm22's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I just realized that the set will be available on Thursday. Normally that means that it will be delivered on Friday, with express shipment (DHL Express). But this time it is Easter that weekend. Does that mean that I wont get the shuttle delivered until Tuesday? Personally I dont celebrate Easter (nor other holidays at all) so there is as 4 days weekend between me and my new Lego Space Shuttle? :(- 310 replies

10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery Discussion
Mosse1997 replied to Vilhelm22's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Discovery with Hubble Space Telescope seems like a perfect timing. First Space Shuttle launch was in April 40 years ago. Hubble was launched with Space Shuttle Discovery in April 1990. Not an anniversary, but I think that the telescope is about to be retired this year. (at least that is what the Swedish Wikipedia pages says)- 310 replies

10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery Discussion
Mosse1997 replied to Vilhelm22's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I love space sets. My all time favorite is the Ideas Saturn V, but I also got the Shuttle Adventure, Apollo Lunar Lander, Ideas Space Station and Shuttle + Apollo 11 from the Old Discover Channel-theamed set from early 2000s. I would appreciate a new Shuttle, either like the one from Discover Channel with only a shuttle with a higher piece count or complete launch stack. I think that Shuttle adventure's boosters and.mostly the fuel tank are builded with too few bigger pieces for my taste. On my Wish list there is also more rockets the size of Ideas Saturn V. A SpaceX one would be cool, but also Russian Soyuz or earlier NASA rockets from the Mercury and Gemini.- 310 replies

REVIEW: 10295 Porsche 911 Turbo/Targa
Mosse1997 replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I guess. I just wished that the QR code worked for VIP Fans like me who do not want to open the plastic bag. I got it before the release, but cannot build it until the release. -

I haven't opened mine yet. I do not want to open the plastic bag around the instructions. Haven't found them online yet, since it hasn't been official released yet. Looks like there's a QR code on the instructions. May it be Lego Life-code? -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Mosse1997 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Feels weird if they did go all in on renewable energy with Plants from plants and a Wind Turbine but also released a gas station. But on the other hand, as you have discussed before, the whole line of modulars are not futuristic, so an Gas station or Garage from the '50s would make sense. As the geek I am, I would love if they team up with Tesla and released a modular Showroom. Or just released a new Theme "Elon Musk" including the SpaceX rockets from the Lego Ideas, Modular Tesla Showroom and a Technic Tesla Model X (same size as the Porches and Bugatti) it is probably too controversial for Lego to make that deal though. And they would perhaps not put another company brand on a modular building. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

It would be interesting to see a inverted corner garage. because of the need for space to turn around in the garage I suggest a it to be on a 48x32 or 64x32 baseplate. (or 2 32x32 to be correct) I visualize it as one 32x32 actual garage in the corner, no need for fancy walls, maybe some windows on the backside (or open gaps, to reduce the number of pieces). And on the other 32x32 baseplate there is an entrance carport, staircase and maybe something else. I am not yet a MOC:er, som I have no building to complete a whole block because of the 48-wide AS. So I wish for a completing sized modular.:P -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Environmental friendly appeal would be cool! Solar roof should not be hard to add to whatever building they will make, but I could also imagine EV Charger on the pavement or in some kind of parking space. (wonder how a 3 story parking garage in modular style would look like) BTW I did also order the Vestas Wind Turbine, looking forward to build it. -
It is more "interview" than previous Designer Interviews. I like the video, but I miss the classic setup with the Designer(s) showing of the set and its details and features.

Me too. The only problem I have now is how to organize all buildings on the shelves. There is some of the other ones that I want to place next to eachother aswell.

I was thinking about placing DD next to PR but with the stairs between each other so you get som space between the houses.

I would like a Passenger Ferry in the same size, maybe with a car deck onboard.

I am in the same situation. I ordered mine ASAP when I saw the form post saying that it was possible to pre-order. It has been been processed in Köln, Germany. I supposed that I can enjoy building on Monday. :) (Usually when I order from S@H I order on Saturday and it arrive on Wednesday) -

This set is a Must Have for me. I have been interested in Space Exploration in general and Space Rockets and Space Stations in particular since I was 6 years old. It was actually a year or two before I got into Lego building. I will definetly buy The Saturn V on day one, or is it possible that it will be available for VIP customers before the actual release day? -
Ideas for new Lego themes! (Non-licensed)
Mosse1997 replied to The lego fan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The Swedish Language Council has published a list of new and popular words in the Swedish Language 2016. One of them is a new word for police, ambulance and fire fighters called "Blue-light-staff". Maybe Lego could call the new theme "Blue-Light-Staff" and merge City and Friends to a more "Everyday Life"-theme. -
