  1. So like the title says - do you rummage through your kids Lego collection if you need a piece!?! I try so hard not to - and to hold on until my next Bricklink/PAB order...but my impatience gets the better of me! At the moment I have an IOU list of parts that I need to replace for him! He's none the wiser (he's 4), but if he decides he wants to remake his Police Station or his many many construction bits and bobs he's gonna need all the pieces! Not accusing him of stealing in the slightest, but I love how Mestari used his daughters Duplo in his Ice Cream Parlour MOC - http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=111129
  2. Two boxes in a toy shop in my town (Wexford, Ireland) - I got the clumsy guy and samurai. I want want want the wrestler and the Native American lady.
  3. These are the kind of sets my 4 year olds (boy) loves too - those and the deep sea sets. Today he got 31041 (the creator mini jcb) and he adores it. Anything that's a big machine really!
  4. Thanks for the welcome Graham and Iria :-)
  5. I'm sending you a standing ovation across the interwebs - this is fantastic! The kind of build I could spend hours looking at. Inspirational stuff! I especially love the furniture.
  6. Just finished building mine! I like it as a corner house too, I'm going to have to do a bit of modding as I prefer my buildings to be fully closed - but I think this gives me scope to add more to the deli because I totally agree that it's lacking in that respect. I actually really like the chair upstairs and I love the detailing around the windows. I don't really like either of the other 2 buildings you can make with this set (Unlike the Bike Shop & Cafe which I think had 2 really nice alternative builds). Nice review, and I totally want to see a set like this each year too!
  7. That's your first MOC?!? That's amazing! Please post more pics (or a link to some more). That work deserves to be appreciated! :-)
  8. I am new I promise! I set up this account years ago, but college, work and all that stuff meant I had no time to do anything with it !! Anyway, I'm a female, from Ireland and I've loved Lego for as long as I can remember (my favourite set is 6592 Vacation Hideaway). I was completely anally retentive about my Lego as a child, and because of this any sets that I have from this time are in pretty good condition. I always wanted a Lego town and I'm making that happen now with my sets from the 90's, and the bits and pieces that I've picked up since then. So hello everyone (from what's at the moment, a pretty rainy miserable Ireland - lucky my hobby is collecting Lego I suppose!)
