  1. Available now in the UK. Get your orders in!
  2. Are we sure it includes a new character? Seems like it could be Dwayne again (same torso and legs).
  3. I like it when LEGO has connections between themes and enjoy including subtle (or not so subtle) references to these in my layout. I'm not talking about TLM connections here, but more like the story links we had between Atlantis, Pharaoh's Quest, Alien Conquest and Dino or call backs to older themes in the CMF series (Vampire Bat being a servant of Lord Vampyre and chief Bat Monster). Anyway, I read somewhere about rumours suggesting the town of Newbury is built on the land where the Monster Realm used to be, and that energy from the Moon Stones awakened the ghostly forces from Hidden Side. Unfortunately, I cannot remember where I read it and if it was an official connection. Does anyone know anything about this? Is this something final or even something LEGO considered during concept, or is it a fan theory?
  4. That's what I've done with my sets. I will use the movie characters from the set but also mix in some from the TV series. I've got Sky pirates, SOG villains, hunters and others in my city, and when the new Legacy sets come out I'll have some Serpentines and Skulkins to add. I didn't get into Ninjago until recently so don't have any of those early villains, and they are a bit expansive on the secondary market.
  5. I wouldn't mind a building like that, but, I guess it would be released under the super heroes theme. If so, would you still want your regular Creator Export building at the start of the year, or would you happy for this to takes it's place? You'll also have to put up with people arguing if it's a real modular or not; just like they did with Ninjago City.
  6. 15:00 CET. Surely that would be only 3+ hrs to go
  7. Liking the roads. How did you get those?
  8. Whatever it is; just hope it's not another corner one. Don't really have anywhere left to fit them nicely in my layout. Unfortunately if the pattern (corner, reg, reg) holds up, I may be another corner one. Then again DD was so close to being a corner that it would surprise me, and it was never an official pattern anyway.
  9. I also like the change to the new faces. I've actually been thinking about replacing the classic faces with new ones. I did this with the old and Clone Wars era stormtroopers, but that was easy. For the modulars I would need to find the right face, something that would match their character.
  10. If they ever release a train station, I hope they design it as standalone building but in the modular style; i.e. have removable floors/roof and adhere to the same standards and measurements as the current modulars, but not connect to other buildings. Almost like a double corner building.
  11. GE had a red mailbox (and the PS town house had a letterbox). The signs have been there since 2010
  12. I get what you're saying; NC is not part of the Modular series. However, it's a lot more modular than those two. They've applied a lot of the modular standards to that build (footprint, peg holes, distance from edge, way the levels can be taken off). It's modular but not a Modular.
  13. I see. I imagine that is just an oversight by the person creating the calendar; I'm sure the box will have the new logo.
  14. You mean the one at the bottom right of the image, yes? Looks like the new one to me, same as the last three modulars.
  15. Sounds good. Do you have any pictures of your HH? Looking from some ideas on on how to position mine.
  16. Cannot wait to see the designer video for this one. Will be interesting to see who the designer is, and maybe find out why they moved away from the classic faces.
  17. If the Diner is a fake, how do you explain the parts in colors that aren't available yet? And the incredible coincidence of the exact same car being revealed in LEGO Worlds after the leak was found?
  18. Some really good ideas here. I've got some of the same combo's mentioned here. One other ones I can think of right now Alice (Disney) at the back of the pool hall sampling some of the goods (she has a bottle and one of those bootleg cookies after all) Sleepyhead sleepwalking on top of the town house Commissioner Gordon on top of the TH with a bat signal Velma Staplebot inside TH Yeti outside of GE buying an ice cream Werewolf outside of Pet Shop stealing a bone Some other characters I have dotted around my town One of the Aliens abducting a cow The clowns, fortune teller and snake charmer at the fairground Monster characters in and around the Haunted House S3 Pilot in a hot air balloon Banana Man taunting Clumsy Guy Dick Grayson chasing away Shark Suit Guy
  19. IMHO, that's got nothing to do with it. A lot of people don't own CC or GG, but that doesn't mean they don't consider those as part of the series. There are many reasons why MS is treated this way though.
  20. Except that it was the second; Cafe Corner started it all, and MS just doesn't live up to it. To be fair, I never considered MS to be part of the modular line; in the same way that Ninjago City isn't (except that NC is a interesting and great looking build).
  21. Don't think the cook has ears; that's just a crease in the paper. Which is actually what makes me suspicious. Why is the page that creased, it's almost like it was done on purpose to possibly hide some imperfections. Also the strongman's upper body appears to be that of the Boxer collectable minifig; again seems a bit suspicious.
  22. So they confirmed something we already figured out ourselves, but it' s nice to have it confirmed officially. The building is designed to fit in with the Modular series (at 3:28:20). Still not sure why they denied this on their FB page following the initial reveal.
  23. Not only that. The pin connectors are in exactly the right location for them to connect. That can be no coincidence, right?
  24. I didn't make any changes yet, so mine doesn't fit right now. I tried it again just now to be sure. The ladder gets caught on the red bit at the top of the door. Removing one set of plates from that part of the entrance will let it fit, but only just and you end up with a small gap at the top. I might look if I can lower the height of the fire engine with one or two plates instead.
  25. Not without some minor modification. It is just a tiny bit too high to get in through the door.
